Hey guys, I have a problem with one of my mining rigs RX580 8GB. It mines for 1 day or something and suddenly start to receive this error:

Quote
server: bind failed with error: 10048 (port for remote management is busy, use different -mport value), next attempt in 20sec...

After that all the hashrate drops to zero and it just keeps retrying until I manually restart the miner.

Can someone help here?

NVML: cannot get current temperature, error 999 (an internal driver error occurred)

I'd say that the important part is in the bold now.
What it means that the driver has just failed somewhere and claymore just loves to do that when mixed(same miner instance) with Polarises that work alongside nvidias.
also I have a worker with 10 GPUs: 8*1060 - running claymore on "platform 1" switch with 2 Vegas fe doing XMR - no issues there.

I tried -cclock,  but it didn’t seem to have any effect on Radeon R9 290X. I also tried to  write to /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_sclk_od, according to this

https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=amd-rx480-od&num=1

but the value didn’t change from zero.

Is there a way to overclock Radeon R9 290X in Claymore? I’m using AMDGPU-Pro Driver 17.40

I'm also getting the "GpuMiner cu_k1 failed 30" error message. Here's the full transcript...

Right before mining starts my screen goes black for a second, then I see the error messages regarding temperature, and then "GPU 0 failed".

I'm using a Titan X on Windows 10. I started with the latest nVidia driver, then downgraded to 372.54. The Windows Fall Creators Update has been installed.

Some research says the errors are related to hardware or connection failures, but I doubt there's anything wrong with the GPU because GPU-Z is able to get temperature and fan speed.

I'm just getting started with Claymore so any advice is appreciated.

Mined eth for couple of months on my home pc. Couple of days ago had to leave for a week, and left my pc mining in headless mode with remote access via teamviewer. Mining was going just fine, but I had to restart my PC remotely. After the restart claymores miner gives me this:

Hello, friends. I'm writing from Russia, translating the text through an interpreter.

I want to receive json data on the tcp / ip protocol.
The API says:
pass the json line {"id": 0, "jsonrpc": "2.0", "method": "miner_getstat1"}

the answer comes to me:
{"id": 0, "jsonrpc": "2.0", "result": false, "error": "Miner not registered"}

How to find out the miner's id?

BUG

1. If I change Memory or GPU Clocks I need to start Miner 2 times because first time after changing it uses some random Clocks or Clocks from the last time. After 2nd start everything fine.
2. -fanmin works only after Ive used -tt -50(or other number) then I can delete the -tt and use -fanmin

Ive got Windows 10 64 bit. I've tested card on Riser 006c. CPU 8700K
GPU Gigabyte AORUS 570 4GB

Loading time was always different so I switched risers and it was like 500ms faster after..

Was mining only Ethereum at 30.02~ mhs

how to fix this problem

You should post which graphics card you have. If you have less than 3GB of memory on your graphics card, I don't think it can work.

Is it possible to remote manage the commandline of claymore's miner? Or editing certain files like 'reboot.bat' or 'start.bat' remotely?

Team Viewer Wink https://www.teamviewer.us

How exactly? Based on the IP:PORT of the miner?

Its a GUI based, a certain remote app like Remote Desktop Connection in windows or VNC. you could also do file transfer to replace certain files if you don't want to do remote desktop.

Thank you for the reply, but I know what teamspeak is, I'm just wondering if I can only connect to claymore's miner using the claymore's miner remote management tool. With the tool you can restart the miner or edit the config, but I'd like to edit other files through that program or through the provided API as well.

Any ideas?

Team Viewer, not teamspeak. Team Viewer allows you to connect to remote computer and control keyboard mouse, so you can check your rig and reboot etc... if you want to use API and control remotely, then your rig would need to have accessible, static IP address.

Set Win10 Sleep mode to disabled and its running smoothly for the last 11.5 hours. So it was just a petty thing that was giving big headache!

Any ideas?

I have the bat file exactly like the one on ethermine.I put it here but without my wallet address.

I also used -allpools 1 and it gives the same error
This is my Bat file:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal here is my adress.Batman -epsw x

and as pc componets i have:
Msi geforce 1060 6gb
Msi motherboard H110M PRO-D
Memory Patriot Signature, 4GB DDR4, 2133MHz, CL15
Processor Intel Celeron Kaby Lake G3930 2.90GHz, 2MB, Socket 1151
SSD 120 GB intel

If you are having problems with the Ethermine pool try a different pool. If it works fine with another pool and you get good results then just stick to the new pool - there are many more out there.
