@Claymore: BUG REPORT.

TL;DR: please run reboot.bat by -minspeed if r>=1 (not only with r=1).

Win10, miner 10.0, latest blockchain drivers (23 Aug). It does not reboot if -minspeed not reached and -r X set (X>1), just restarts miner.
This, formally speaking, is not a bug (since README says it reboots if r=1). But by logic, if one sets r>1 (that is, wants reboot on either error or by timer), seems reasonable to reboot also by -minspeed.

The real use case: unstable rig instance after miner restart (first boot ok but any miner restart may fail).
1) pool drops connection every 24h (some pools)
2) miner reconnects, but system hangs and reboots
3) AMD driver resets clocks to default
4) miner starts with default clocks and has low hashrate (AMD driver changes it only after miner restarted)
5) miner restarts by -minspeed, rates set to ok, but unstable system hangs and reboots again...
6) loop to 3 (default clocks again)

If miner reboots on -minspeed instead of restart, all would be ok (since new clocks are already set, and reboot is by command, not by driver error).

Using AB/Trixx to preset clocks will resolve the issue, but I prefer to set rates in the miner.

ANOTHER ISSUE: does anybody have reboots on Linux with NVIDIA on OpenCL error? I set -r1 but even if some card has 0 H/s, and/or -minspeed is set, miner does not react and does not reboot neither restart. Anybody to confirm?

i read the first page and i searched and nothing came up.
using dpools and epools text config.. how do i set the coin to lbry?
i tried , DCOIN: lbc but its still showing dcr.

Here you have an example o fmining lbry and eth:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F/YourWorkerName -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://lbry.suprnova.cc:6256 -dwal Redhex.my -dpsw x -dcoin lbc

You can read the first pages and the FAQ for more information

Please, all that have a RX 480 8GB (Shappire Nitro + 8GB) can post the best values for "-dcri"? For now I set "-dcri 23" cause I think that when I increase it to 24, 25 or more Claymore seems unstable and sometimes my hashrate fluctuates. Many thanks in advance

Kinda new to ETH mining. I have 3 miners on Nvidia and just built one using AMD MSI RX 580 8g Gaming X cards. All are running Claymore in ETH only mode, Nvidias on 9.8 and AMD on 10.0. I'm in process of optimizing the hashrates on the RX 580s. I've modded the bios using the PolarisBiosMod Editor (new one that automatically copies the values from 1750 to others) and I've updated to latest AMD blockchain drivers. Increased hashrate from 21.3 to 26.7 but I see others doing upwards of 30. I've downloaded latest beta of MSI Afterburner and can't seem to improve the hashrate like I could on the Nvidias. I see people doing some tweeking with WattMan but I don't know if it works on RX 580s and if so, where to find it?

Something not right in your config, your batch file says music @ epool.io and dcr @ supernova and your log says eth @ nanopool and pasc @ nanopool Wink

Check config.txt, epool.txt and dpool.txt

Thanks for the reply Spitkicker.  The Musicoin pool I mine from requires the use of an ETH miner (see here: https://gmc.epool.io/#/help) pointed where it is.  The musicoins are mined fine and I can confirm them in my wallet.  It's just the DCR that's a problem.

I pulled the batch info from config.txt as you suggested, filled in with current info, and ran it.  Both music coin and DCR are coming up as authorized, eth (musicoin) shares are accepted just like before but still getting rejected DCR shares  Angry  What else could it be?  I'm about to email Suprnova and say wtf mate.

While using Claymore miner i cannot see Youtube  (im using Linux Mint )

VLC or others player can be used
If i play Castlevania LOS (wine) it plays normally on GTX 1060.
but problem with youtube

One of ways - download any videos from youtube unfortunately is uneasy

P.s.
Please add option for summ to for ONE card only, DevFee to 5%
I think it boost Mh/s for all .

Wondering if you guys can help me. I've been mining for a while and am pretty good at trouble shooting but this one has me stumped.
On my first rig of all Rx 480's I was able to get them back up to 30+ mg/h each once I installed the blockchain driver.
Now my second rig which is an asus prime z270-A has 5 Rx 580's all 8gb. When i first set it up and it was all stock one card would hash at 23 and the 4 would hash at 21. Once I installed blockchain drivers and AB, the one that hashed at 23 now does 27 and the other ones around 23.
Heres the weird part, I cant get the 4 that are stuck 23 any higher, in fact when I turn up the settings in AB I actually loose hashing power from those 4 cards, they go down to 21. While the other card doesn't mind.

Any suggestions? I'd appreciate it

Which blockchain driver did you use?  I have not found any of them to be stable.  Also, I have had the same results with the Sapphire rx 580 8g cards when changing the bios.  I can't get them to hash as the 480 8g rates that I can get with a simple bios mod.  Always lower, and some of the cards are lower just because and I can't seem to do anything that affects them for the good, and any increase in clock speeds seems to just slow them down.

Exact same problem here... My 580's are also sapphires.. I'm using latest Blockchain drivers. Anyone else here getting loss in hashing when turning settings up in AB?

having some wild rate fluctuations ( 5+%) on ASrock H110 Pro BTC+ with 12 cards (8*570+4*1060)

https://s1.postimg.org/66gmwuy473/gem-b1.png

Yeah I'm also getting wild fluctuations from as low as 86MH back up to 154MH next minute. Seeing a big knock on the calculated hashrate that is being pulled through by nanopool as well... Specially around the time Dev fee kicks in. Claymore said he was working on something that might ease the impact of dev fee?

Hey Everyone,

After many failed attempts, I've run out of options that I currently comprehend and ask for your help.  I'm currently successfully mining Musicoin and unsuccessfully mining DCR out of curiosity and obviously not profit.  No matter what I seem to do, 100% of my DCR shares fail.  Here's what I've gathered and attempted based on reading here, watching YouTube, praying to every god I can think of, etc..

1) Turned off MSI Afterburner (I have 2-1070s)
2) Changed my intensity to 80
3) Tried changing port to 3344 as per other earlier posts
4) Changed back to what suprnova states is correct for Claymore
Code:
-dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal mydcrwallet.worker -dpsw 12345
5) I'm running Claymore 10.0
6) I've tried it on 2 separate machines
7) Again, Musicoin mining is succesful
8 )....
9) Drink
10) Not profiting Sad

Here's what I'm seeing on Claymore

Hello guys, i have this problem, when i start the miner the speed is 29.5, but after 20-30sec my speed drop about 24-25 and i can't increase ..... Please someone help me. My card is Sapphire 580 nitro+ 4gb Elpida memory

You should decrese your memory clock. had the same problem, with my 5*580 Rig. Now is stable around 13h.  Try decrese memclock and you will need check HWInfo memory errors.  had a lot of it.

This is happened when i copy 1500 to 2000 timings in bios! What is your speed?

This is happened only with my Asus Dual 8GB with samsung memory. When i wrote UberMix Timing - very unstable at just 2000MHz , much memory errors. Then, i copied 1750 to 2000, that more stable, but ..... Then, i decresed mem clock card by card.

-cvddc 825,825,850,825,825 -cclock 1146,1146,1146,1146,1146 -mclock 2010,2040,1930,1990,1930

1,2 - Armor with uber mix.
3,4,5 - Dual with 1750.

All of these  - ETH =142MHz with DCR = 4550MHz.

I think this is very low hashrate for these cards, wtih 1750 my speed is 26.4....
I don't think so.
28.1 , 28,75 , 28.2 , 29.2, 28.25 - ETH
895,920,900,930,900 - DCR

if i try to get higher mem clock - lot of errors, hashrate slowdown , very unstable rig .  Maby i can do 1,2 cards get higher over 145-146MHz, but i don't want right now, i need time to relax ))) And another one, i had only one psu RM850X Corsair and i don't want to increse vddc .

Thank you man, i mod bios with 1500 and i decrease the memory clock to 2030 and my speed is 29.3 now Smiley

You'r welcome . hmm.... i will try it too later )

Ethereum Miner
Since building my first rig last June, i've always had this rock-stable settings for six of my Asus Dual OC 580s 8GB Samsung memory

-cclock 1260
-mclock 2050
-cvddc 925mV
-mvddc 925mV

This yields me a constant 29.1 to 29.3 across all cards (175 total) and pulls about 1175 up to 1200w. High, I know but they go for weeks until needing a restart.

Earlier this week, I played with them again to squeeze in few more Mh. These are my settings:
-cclock 1140
-mclock 2075
-cvddc 875
-mvddc 875

They average a total of 177.5 now and cards hashes from 29.5 up to 30.0. But the best thing is they now only pull 1035w dual-mining with DCR.

I am a meat Popsicle
With 4pcs XFX RX580 8GB mod bios, 1000w psu my rig shutdown after a minute when dual mine with decred.

Claymore version: latest
Environment variable: 16000 and try 24000
Win10 64x

BAT file command string:
Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal myethwallet.worker100 -epsw x -r 1 -gser 2 -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal mydcrwallet.worker -dpsw 12345

Are you undervolting? Dual mining with these cards with no undervolt would pull about 700-750w just for the GPU's alone. If you undervolt you should able to reduce that to 500. I am not sure if you are as  do not see the settings in your Claymore. but perhaps you are using AB

My AB v4.4 Beta settings works perfectly stable:
Power: 0
Temp: 90
Core: 1165
Memory: 2165
Fan: Auto

Power consumption: 117w Max
Can you suggest AB undervolt settings that will work with DCR dual mining. TIA.

I have the following in my start.bat to undervolt my 570's and 580's  -cvddc 900,900,925,925 -mvddc 900,900,900,900   -cclock 1175,1175,1275,1275 -mclock 2050,2100,2050,2050

I have one 570 that can get 2100+ the rest 570's and 580's are only stable at 2050. for cvddc I put as low as I can get stable and above is what I was able to achieve may be different for you. The cvddc above will drastically lower your cards power consumption. Also I use Claymore to clock my cards as I find it is more stable then AB for some reason I am using Claymore 10. but note I am not using Beta drivers as my rigs run Windows 7 and beta does not work with Claymore on Windows 7. I mine Alt Ethash coins currently getting 29.3 with 1 570, the other at 2100 gets me 30, the 2 580's get me 29.95 at 2050 wish i could push the memory more on those but they crash the amd driver if I do.

Will definitely try your clock settings. My claymore settings should look like this -cvddc 925 -mvddc 900  -cclock 1275 -mclock 2050, right?

One thing, is it required to reset clocks in AB when clocking through Claymore?
If you clock through Claymore it will override anything you do in AB
