1 year back, one of my very new rigs was taking 450 Watts on the wall.

Now I've just checked and it's consuming 600 Watts for the very same hash rate.

Does the efficiency go down this much of the hardware? Roll Eyes
your rig is possibly becoming wiser with time and does something productive for itself on your expense

Could you clarify that a bit more?

Claymore will work on Cryptonight GPU miner after the dual miner new version as he said.

I hope he will work at cpu miner too. Even if only to be compatible with all pools.

^^^ ... your cryptonote miner needs attention ...
I second that.
Gladly using both zec and eth and very happy about it.
And it's not very convinient for me to use discontinued by Zawawa gatelessgate when I need cryptonote miner.

6x Rx580 | Claymore 9.8 | Aug11 Blockchain Drivers | 175.5 ETH 3500 DCR | 115W GPU-Z | DCRI 20

How did you solved the problem of mem frequency on blockchain drivers?

Sir, when will you update the Cryptonote miner for MONERO. seems like small scale miners are jumping to mine Monero now.. (im one of those  Grin)

I second this request Lord Claymore Grin

PLEASE Smiley

and THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Why the need for an upgrade? Im running 4 rx480 8gbs at 2900h/s with no hiccups so far.

1. update if sir Claymore could sync the GPU temps with the miner (Using blockchain dag fix driver)
2. Dual mine w/ LBC or SIA if possible?
3. possible tweak to maximize GPU performance w/ Cryptonote

These are not demand, these are only a kind request if Sir Claymore has time for CryptoNote.

Hi,just a noob question, just installed latest Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23,and miner stop working,it reads both cards and than i get "stoped working" messageeverything was just fine with previous crimson 17.xxx,bat file wasnt changed, rolled back to 17.xx version and everything work fine, rlly wanted to try blockhain driver, using claymore 9.8 version on windows 7,cards are rx 470s,any known issues for this cards and driver, thx?

Yes, the drivers are known to not work at all on Win7.

Hi,

I just switched from win7 to win10 to be able to use the new AMD blockchain drivers among other things. I have a mix of 480/580/570 cards using claymore 9.8. I also use an autoswitching pool. I am experiencing a problem where my 8gb 480 card crashes when switching mining from eth classic (epoch 144) to eth (epoch 140). The other cards do fine during the new DAG generation but the 480 goes down and the miner/OS will lock up shortly thereafter. So far, the switching only occurs when the devfee wants to mine eth. All of the cards are mildly memclocked/uv and have previously been stable for days on win7/17.71/claymore 9.8. I have env variables set and 32 GB pagefile.

Unfortunately, my only solution so far has been to turn off the devfee - which I would rather not do. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks

Use '-allcoins etc'

ok,thx, guess win10 upgrade is to go for me

I had the same issue with one of my 6 x Rx 480 rigs. I mine ETC but when switching to mine devfee the rig freezes and only a hard reset is working. I had to use the -nofee 1 option and since then the rig is running...

Funny, with Vega FE, I can only reliably set clocks and voltage with claymore's miner.

No Hash

I didn't touch claymore hardware control functions.
And I'm using 17.8.2 - other drivers don't work for me
I use latest hwinfo64 to monitor sensors. gpu core voltage you will see as mem voltage and vice versa ))

Red,

I was using Claymore to do this:
-cclock 1560
-mclock 1100
-cvddc 1000
-mvddc 1000
-dcri 35

then in wattman:

I set to custom:
if I change a volt (mem or core) it goes back to the claymore setting
the cclock goes to about 1470 and has a manual adjust of percentage only (never reaches the claymore setting usually 2.5 or 3% lower)
mem clock goes to 800 (sometimes 500) and uses claymore 1100 as the max
If I force a % increase of core clock in wattman, mem clock will go to 1100 for a second, then mem and core clocks reert to claymore setting

hmmm.  maybe I should not use claymore to set clock?

I also OC'd gpu, card froze, I rebooted.

Got stuck at mem clock 500 for half an hour, thought i killed it.
I wouldn't go overboard with OCing, I killed mine with high temperature limit and started to get artifacts

From my point of view I eliminate all the other possible variables: pools, drivers, mixed cards models etc, so is clear that the last possibility that the problem to be from the miner have been confirmed since the problem is not present on another miner software.
Can you please look at this and try to fix it?
Thank you

PM me the log file from my miner.
I will get mb with 13 pcie slots in a couple of days, then I will be able to try to reproduce this issue.
I hope you have 2 molex on motherboard attached.
I have that board with 8 cards. All is fine. Win10/claymore eth 9.8/private beta driver.

Changing voltage does not ever seem to change the wattage, bouncing from 370-380 rig (1 card, no monitor on killawatt)

Can't become stable when i mess with the clock, card drops back to 800 for mem even at stock volt
Right now:

Vega 64 air
Using nicehash/clay 9.8
No parameters set in claymore
Stock GPU in control
1339/945
temp 77, fan 2400

-dcri 95
30.4/2.887g hs   $3.42 income  my electric cost $1.3/day =  $2.12 profit/day.  Card roi 283 days/9.4 months if nothing changes

Less profit/more cost than two of my 570's

RX Vega 64 Liquid 1560gpu/1100mem@1v gpu core
dualminer 9.8 -dcri 60
55-60 degrees with 3000 rpm

Vega 64 air, clay 9.8, new 17.8.2

Downvolted with wattman: core and mem to 1000.

Below 1000mv I drop to mem clock 800, and struggle to get above.

I can not get gpu clock stable at 1560, I set using claymore initially then  wattman shows 1490-1510 with 800.  I use wattman to increase and it goes up for a second, maybe bring mem clock to 1100

I don't like wattman, it (something) only allows me to try to increase gpu clock by a %, not an actual number.  When I do increase, it jumps right back down to its previous value.

If I get stable at 1510/1100 then 35.6/1.6 gh
