Guys, a newby here... I managed to get my GTX970 working but I get 1 of 2 errors...  I either get ETH: Share rejected! ETH: Too many rejects from pool, disconnect... ETH: - connection in 20 sec...
or I get Miner timed out after 5 GPU0 t=57C fan=0%

Am I connecting to the correct pool? here's my config...  [ EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool http://us2.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal *wallet adr.miner* -epsw x ]

thanks for any support you can provide!

I'm running driver version: 347.88 with no OC of my card

---UPDATE!!!---
I removed the "http://" from the config and I'm mining at 15.137!!! Awesome!!

Use the drivers suggested when you start claymores miners.  I'm currently running a GTX 970 Strix, and getting 16MH at 90% GPU utilization.  So I can still use my computer and play some older games. 368.81 I believe.

- You can always switch back as soon as he updates it.  Huh

- Yes....yes it can.

To me that would be like cheating on my wife because she's on the rag and refusing to play any bed sports.
Dumbest post I've seen in a while.

Probably you don 't visit any ripple topics on this forum
I'm back after a several year hiatus. So I guess it just hasn't been long enough for me to recall some of the crazier shit posted.

Yes it is called too much overclocking. Try not to. Or problem with power supply to one of the cards.

Or faulty card.

But it is too much ocerclocking 90%.

Why are you giving this error?

try to connect nicehash eu server

also use in config file:
-allcoins 1
-allpools 1
-esm 3
-mode 1

Is there a way to identify multiple wallets and pools without using the epools file?

If you have samsung memory ethminer can do 200Mhs... but ppl think Claymore is god for ETH, but he does not care for Nvidia users at all if you are stupid to mine with slower software and pay fee he will not work on optimization!
Why would he, when ppl have no brain to decide for themselfs

So...not sure how you came to that conclusion.  I'm sure Claymore wants to optimize the miner for any / all cards as much as possible.  The more efficient the miner, the more shares / MH he's going to get from each person that uses his miner...

SUre and guess why he need ~1 year to optimize dual mining with NV, for past 1 year only profit from nvidia dual mining was claymore, stupid ppl/miners just burned more power for no benefit! because they are stupid to do profitability math and see they lose more on lower ethereum speed then on dc/sia/lbc gain!

That I don't disagree with, people really should spend the few minutes it takes to figure out the cost / benefit of dual mining and they may see they'd make more just straight up single mining ETH.

You sir, must not know how difficulty works.

I do understand difficulty, but if he can make his miner more efficient than all other miners, while that would certainly raise the difficulty due to the overall increased hash rate, his miners (and Claymore himself with his dev fee) would have a larger portion of that hash rate in comparison to everyone else, which translates to a larger portion of the overall mined coins at the expense of the people using the other mining applications (until the other mining applications come up with their improved version).  Not to mention, improvements to his miner will drive more people to use his miner.  So yes, he does have motivation to improve his miner.

Mr. Claymore, do you need my log file of crashed ETH mining with AMD Vega for bug fixing in your miners?
I tested your ZCash miner too, same issue.

Thanks.

-swisstrader

Can you try with -asm 0 option ?

Claymore's Dual ETH + DCR/SC/LBC/PASC GPU Miner v9.6 recommends nVidia driver 368.81 while I'm using 382.53).

Does it means that Claymore's Dual ETH 9.6 just recommends driver that was actual on v9.6 was released ?  Should I downgrade 382.53 to 368.81 ?

Or maybe update to actual version is 384.76 (2017.6.29) ?

I'm using the latest driver for 6 pieces of GTX 1070 in 7/24 with no problems: 180 MH/s.

I have searched so apologise if this is a noob question, just got a GTX 980 to add to a system with an rx 480 in it. Currently testing it in a separate system that normally runs a 1070 no problem doing the same thing I'm trying to do with the 980 which is boot and use the computer with the iGPU of the CPU and mine on the GPU.

If I boot with the display plugged into the 980 I have no problems but when I'm using the iGPU I get the error "CUDA error: cannot allocate big buffer for DAG"

my bat file, which I run as admin

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 -ewal *My-Wallet-Address*.*My-Worker-Name*/*My-E-mail* -epsw x -mode 1

I'm On windows 10

382.53 drivers
Claymore 9.6

Parameters I have tried changing

-gser 2
-lidag 3
Virtual memory to 16gb
No-Overclock

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get this to work ( what little I have left!), I have no problems doing the same thing on the 1070 but the 980 will just not play ball. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to use "-di "
So if your IGP is GPU 0, your 480 card is GPU 1, and your 980 is GPU 2; you need to use "-di 2" to use the 980 only, or "-di 12" to use the 480 and the 980

Tried that earlier with no success, I forgot to say. Not sure what I've down now but I cant mine at all on the 980. That same error "CUDA error: cannot allocate big buffer for DAG"  happens now whether or not I'm plugged into the 980 or not.

Might sound silly but I had a friend that had the same issue except we put the Virtual mem to 32GB instead of 16GB and it worked for him. Its worth a shot and a reboot.
