Is there anyway for your next version to add maintenance fee?  So we can add % in miner for mining in own address because i have some rigs where i am administrator, and i want to get my % earning. Thanks a lot

I also want that feature.

Hi, im new here. I use your mining client on a 6x470 rig.

My configuration is:
ASUS H170 PRO GAMING
Intel Celeron G3900
4GB DDR4 2133MHz
120GB SATA SSD
4x SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon RX 470 NITRO+ OC 8GB
2x ASUS AMD Radeon RX 470 Strix OC 4GB
Windows 10 x64
16.9.2 crimson driver

I updated BIOS to latest version and did this configurations: Above 4G decoding enabled, DMI max link speed Gen1 and PCIEX16_1 link speed Gen1. All went ok and i saw all 6 gpus, all mined ok (4 sapphire ~24MH/s and 2 asus ~21MH/s). After one restart one of my GPU speed was 4.2MH/s all time. In GPU-Z i see 0 MHz for GPU and Memory clocks.

Here are some logs:

I've tried other drivers, other risers, full OS reinstall and PC rebuild, no solution.
What i know: first time all was ok, then something failed. The GPU connected on the first PCIE x16 port is doing that. Second PCIE x16 and all 4 PCIE x1 are ok.
Can anyone advise me what to do to fix it?

Quick question...

Is there any way to get Nicehash to call on the Claymore Dual Miner using an nVidia card ?

I've been able to do it on all of my AMD GPU systems no problem but the nVidia system calls on the standard "ethminer" in Nicehash and I cannot seem to get it to use Claymore.

An Impressive Purely Anonymous Currency.
I have built two rigs to replace my old rig(7950) and they both have 5 x 580 MSI Gaming.

I have two questions :-

1)I have switched the mining address to Bitterx, as syncing eth is so time consuming - any comments ?

2)The cards are pulling roughly 100 watts but I could tune more but need more time.  Does anyone mine with a 480/580 and mine a second coin ?

Thanks in advance

I seem to have an issue, well two issues.

#1 the miner crashes/freezes after it exits or the watchdog restarts it and I can't figure out why.

#2 here's a the log file of the GPUs halting and the miner restarting. Why did the GPUs stop, I can't figure out why? It crashed/froze after it restarted and I lost many hours of mining time.

** clip **

Same things happens to me so I used "-r 1" with a reboot. bat and the miner reboots my computer instead of restarting and hanging.

I'll give that a try if I can't narrow down the issue, maybe I got a bad riser or the psu is overloaded.

Edit:

Things going smoothly for a bit now, I believe it was too many risers on one power line. These RX cards draw too much from from the board/riser they need a second pcie connector IMO.

Edit2:

I can see from the pool it's hung up, guess it's not the riser power. OMG this is going to take hours to figure out...

New to Ether mining (I mine BTC with ASICs) I have tried several mining programs for Ether, including MinerGate, which was the first I tried using, which installed the DAG (I have a feeling this is my issue). Once the DAG was completed it let me use my CPU to mine but not my GPU. When I tried using Claymore, something seemingly similar happens and it gets "hung" on something. Here's a log of how far the miner gets before it gets stuck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How to find right gpu with problem?
i have one gpu with problem with overclock #4 (my rig it is with 8 cards) i need to find the right gpu and fix it, there is any hardwareId or something to find it? or also i don't have idea stop fan then will be more easy find it.

If you press a number in the command prompt window that GPU will stop mining. For example you press 0 and GPU0 will stop mining. You press 4 and GPU4 will stop mining. If you press the number again the miner will start mining again. So you can press all the numbers and stop them from mining one at a time. Then maybe you can figure out which one has the overclocking issue?

Newbie question, I have several rigs on linux running claymore without any problem, however I just install claymore on my PC and I cannot modify the gpu mem or core voltage on a R9 390 Powercolor 8G but I can OC the core via -cclock. Is this normal? I read on the web that I can change mem and undervolt using MSI AB but my card dont want to take the underclock. I am using Crisom 15.12. In the OP say that AMD block underclocking so that the reason for claymore miner to not accept -mclock but using MSI AB should I can?

Thanks

I have a spare 6 pin sata port on my EVGA supernova modular PSU.  If I buy a 6 pin male to 6 pin male modular cable, can I plug that into my PCIE riser to power it safely?

I really need an answer to this if anybody could help

THERE ARE NEW MODEL PCIE RISER CARDS--

These new models have 6-pin female PCIe connectors on the upper component card, with the graphic -card slot.  It would be physically possible to use a male-male PSU PCIe cable to power the card, rather than a SATA-to-6-pin PCIe adapter supplied with the riser kit.

1) I don't know the answer.
2) The riser card was not designed that way.
3) You could do ground-breaking research and try it on an old graphics card you no longer need.  Be sure to make a video of the process.

It may very well work, the new riser cards have over-voltage protection.       --scryptr

Hi Claymore,
I have this error just before miner restarts. Sometimes after 50+ hours, sometimes after 20-30 hours of mining. I use Nicehash miner.
This is a peak to the log file:

I got the dual mining working via Nicehash.

I tried LBRY and also PASCAL but both of them slowed down my ETH mining substantially... by about 6 MH/s for either of them.

I also tried DCR and it doesn't show any speed penalty... but is having 100% rejection rate.

Ideas on that ?

What version of the miner are you using? For DCR you can only use 9.2 and 9.3 due to header change. Earlier versions will only create invalid shares.

Okay that must be it -- I have an older version.

Yep... exactly it. I updated the miner in my Nicehash folder and Decred works now.

Thanks!
