Thank you Claymore for your works!!.. but v9.2 can't mine on http://yiimp.ccminer.org when ccminer-2.0-rc3 works perfectly.. may be.. what I do wrong?

Whatever improvements Claymore has made, whatever bugs fixed.
My miner use to crash like twice in an hour and sometimes 6 times in an hour.
I even ordered new pci powered risers instead of molex ones. But

Now running stable for more than 2 hours with v9.2! No hardware changes at all.
There is definitely some big fix, atleast for me.

Hashrate has gone stable, no big fluctuations at all on asm mode with dual mining eth+dcr

I am loving this version.
Thank you Claymore once again for such a quick update.
can u put here all sets for your claymor plz?

A very unstable situation with windows 10 on version 9.0, 9.2 is even worse. The latest version of Windows can only support the driver 17.1.2. The video cards periodically drop one by one from 28-29 to 19-22mh / s and the next line is restored. As a result, a loss of up to 5% per day on chaotic jumps. Up to 28MHs this is a little overclocking and everything should work fine. I think there is a request to track the work on the driver 17.1.2 and make friendly changes for stable operation.AMD driver 17.1.2 is the last key driver for mining in the development of windows 10 for modified polaris. The rest, above, cause an increase in the work of the "system interrupt" processor. The rest, below, have an increased energy consumption during mining.

I think Claymore did a wonderful job on this one.
At first i did get a decrease from 165Mh to 140-ish with dual ETH-DCR.
Then i played with it and got back up. Seems like the software is becoming more and more advanced, thus "needy"
These settings worked for me:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x3ba6Bec13899d67c4B9c37230bCd49dB822A6b35.minerx -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://decred.eu.nicehash.com:3354 -dwal 36PoLAKNUiYdUz22BuKDxBorSp2j1C7G9H.minerx -dpsw x -esm 1 -mode 0 -tt 70 -asm 0

Running 6x RX470 OCd
core voltage -30mv Core 1100MHz Mem clock 1950MHz (Using MSI Afterburner)

Claymore only display GPU temperatur for GPU 0. I want to see or log temperature for all GPU

How to do so?
Do you have crossfire activated?

Make sure you are NOT using RDP, use teamviewer instead for example
Why not use RDP?

Because bugs exist! It's in the readme , make sure you read it:
It seems RDP uses a virtual display adapter that makes claymore only detect one card for the temp readings

" I see only one card via Remote Desktop Connection.
It's a problem of RDC, use TeamViewer or some other remote access software.

" -> From the readme

because RDP is shit. it fucks with graphic cards in a weird way, nothing to do with claymore.
I had exactly the same behavior with VM that was utilizing 3D of the GPU and (just as miners would) if it was running I could use it no problem, but if I tried to start it - it would refuse claiming that there's no graphic card that supports 3D

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
I'm sick to death of my miner crashing.  I have six rx 470 8gb sapphire cards and it can run ok for days, then locks up.  Then I have to restart it about 10-20 times because I constantly get the message "Ethdcrminer64.exe has stopped working".  Then I go into GPUZ and see that one of the cards is not reporting data fully.  After 10 restart or so it starts working again, and I get a few more days mining,  sometimes less.

What could be causing this?  All cards are cool, well ventilated running at 74 degrees contant.  this issue is really pissing me off now. All parts are relatively high quality,   EVGA power supply etc.

I am running win 10 64 bit

remove and reseat everything. run memtest86 overnight.

all vbios stock?

What if you try to reduce to 5 gpus? Perhaps thats the problem? Or psu not powerful enough? Do you undervolt? If not, try that and reduce core speed if needed.

Undervolt by how much? for rx 470 sapphire 8gb?  The psu is a 1000w evga brand new. There are only 6 cards connected to the machine and a small SSD

happens to me as well, but not that frequent. 1000w seems low for 6 cards...1200+ might be better. if your tired of restarted write a script or include in your batch file so that it restarts after x amount of time so at least it will do that on its own

Why not use RDP?

When you use RDP, the display driver used is a generic Microsoft one and it messes with things. Teamviewer or VNC don't cause this problem.

RDP, VNC etc. should be independent on hardware. Maybe it is Win specific Smiley Sorry, I am mainly from Unix land, thats why I'm surprised...

Hi

I recently started using Claymore  Cheesy

I run Kaspersky on my PC as it is not just a mining station.  I have been forced to pause Kaspersky when running Claymore as it prevents Claymore from opening.  My PC defaults to Windows Defender and I have set exclusions to allow Claymore to run.

Is there a work around so I can keep Kaspersky running.  I have added the Claymore folder to my exclusions list in Kaspersky but this is not working.  Perhaps there is another setting I am missing?

Any help appreciated.

Best,

This is the activity of my miners:

had the latest version (9.2) running for 11 hours now mining eth+dcr at nicehash all seems pretty stable on my 480's not noticed any dips in speeds have 0.32% & 1.25% rejects on eth & dcr respectively, nice job Claymore.

Whats the problem with hynix ram? I've been mining for a couple of years now and never checked what ram was on my cards, not had any problems. so I've been super lucky or its a myth? or is it just that I dont bother with overclocking/undervolting?
