Hey ,guys!
I'm new to the forum.I wish you everyone good luck with mining and everything else.
I'm kinda new to Etherium mining too and maybe asking newbie questions but i can't find the answers on my own for now.

I do only Etherium mining at ethermine pool

Here is my problem:

Everything was fine on 8.1 Claymore  miner. After installing Claymore dual miner 9.2 it started to crash on start right after it shows the green title for my 6 cards.I have a 6 x RX 470 8 GB (Micron memory) Sapphire Nitro on Asrock Pro BTC v2.0 with dual PSU Fortron Hyper 700M (add2psu).OS Windows 10 Pro.Crimson 16.9.2 drivers.Cards are bios moded and making 168.5 MH/s (miner's statistic) .940W power consumption total.I'm using MSI afterburner with synchronized settings for all cards.I found they are working fine on  -84 down voltage 1150/2000.Temps-below 60.

For now i tried to play with voltages with no luck and switched back to 8.1.

What do you think might be the problem?Drivers?Overclocking?Or something else?

Thanks in advance!

PS.Windows is crashing with blue screen and start to restart. After restart ,same thing over and over again since i have make my miner to restart auto in shell:startup.

I'm using 16.9.2 as people says 15.2 are not for RX 4xx series...

Hi,

I had some sort of the same issue, only when I used -84 undervolt , I'm using -48 now and seems to be working for me, also try to install Crimson 16.11.15 , it works better. ( I do have RX480's 8Gb )

Hope it helps..

You mean probably Crimson 16.11.5, not Crimson 16.11.15...

YES!! sorry!!!  finger vaults are common with me... still not learning to double check Smiley

what's with a sudden ferocity of mcafee AV objections to OP's program?
maybe mcafee does it to promote btc vs altcoins?
think about it...

With Claymore 9.2 I had not trouble for like 72 hours with dualmining ETH/DCR
Now this starts to appear more and more often :/
(Already had this in 9.1 and 9.0 I think)

Can you check your logs for any kind of opencl hang or something?

Claymore only display GPU temperatur for GPU 0. I want to see or log temperature for all GPU

How to do so?
Do you have crossfire activated?

Make sure you are NOT using RDP, use teamviewer instead for example
Why not use RDP?

Because bugs exist! It's in the readme , make sure you read it:
It seems RDP uses a virtual display adapter that makes claymore only detect one card for the temp readings

" I see only one card via Remote Desktop Connection.
It's a problem of RDC, use TeamViewer or some other remote access software.

" -> From the readme

I see all cards and all cards are mining great. Only Claymore show temperature of first GPU0 only. GPUZ, OpenHWmonitor.. read correct info from all cards.
When using VNC I would need to manualy configure resolution, default with no display connected is 640x480. That's why I used RDP where you set resolution only once. On VNC you have to set it each reboot.

Yes I know, they mine great, everything works just fine, only the temps will come for the first card.
Like I said, just use teamviewer, it just works, VNC is veeery slow

I once had problems with temps not displayed for rx400 on  claymore XMR 9.6 - try to use -mclock and -cclock params setting for a single cards at least, you may put 0 for the others, there's a chance it will "initialize something" and will start giving the numbers

Hi guys ! Correct me if Im wrong. If i see 1100 watt from the wall on my wattmeter , so on 80+ Standard PSU its 1100*0.8=880 power load of PSU. And its good enough for PSUs working conditions (1000Watt Chieftech)?
I mean its about 85% of its full load.

Right ?
If you have a 1000W PSU how can you see 1100 at the wall? Something is wrong...
The 80+ standard is a measure of efficiency. No PSU will deliver 100% of its nominal output, 10~20% is lost in heat.
Therefore, a 1000W PSU will only deliver ~800W within a limited range of loads, and not at full load. Got it?
A 1000W PSU will never "suck" 1100w from the wall....

A quality 1000w PSU easily outputs 1000w to DC side, depending on efficiency under 100% load you see much higher numbers at the wall.

For example, corsair rm1000 at 100% load - 89% efficiency @ 230Vac - 1123w (1000/0.89) at the wall. And you can easily overload them too, not saying I would do it but it is possible.

Like i thought . Thanks all for the info and help. Im cool now. Wattage of the PSU is the output ability not input.

Here's a nice explanation, from Corsair, about PSUs bronze, gold, platinum and the differences.

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2012/august/80-plus-platinum-what-does-it-mean-and-what-is-the-benefit-to-me

nice tables to show the difference in DC output and AC input.

THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF MISINFORMATION ON THE WEB--

Thank you for the manufacturer's guide.  Whether it be by trolls, or poorly informed individuals, there is a lot of junk info to discard.  Overloading a PSU an cause fire, melted wires, or even an explosion.       --scryptr

@Claymore;
Remote Manager execute .bat file function is not working
I developed SMS sending app, because i do not know when to stop my rig(s)
I tried it now, it works right sample.bat start and running my SMS application if i add new client to miners list with the wrong IP address! (red error)
But is not working (can't start sample.bat) running miner(s) stopped work.
I need start sample.bat if it stops working miners.
Thx.

This is the result from one of my tests, running Claymore and Gateless Gate. Over a 24 hour period you can see the fluctuations. Claymore's miner was used during the period with the green spots for reported hashrate:

Hi all, I don't really check my ethermine hash rate graph but I checked it recently and suprised to find the results fluctuating a lot, not sure if its normal...take a look:

http://funkyimg.com/i/2sfNe.png

When checking my console i rarely see the rate deviate from the 130's (almost always at 140) but the chart says a different story. Is it correct? Is it like this for all of you ?

Having the same issue..

I don't think this problem is exclusive to Claymore's miner. I've also tried single mining ETH with sg-miner and with GG and they all have a similar behavior. Keep in mind that there is a luck factor involved; our GPUs will not find solutions at a constant rate. Therefore, some degree of fluctuation is to be expected. However.... I agree that this might be too much  Grin

Yes, for me this started when using 9.2 but I am DUAL mining ETC+DCR but there is that factor of difficulty increase and it did started around 9.2 got released ... although it does suck I'm down from 1.4ETC to under 1 per day... at 60.6MH/s on PC.

Apparently there is no RX470, AMD went from 460 to 480. The 470 is just an overclocked 460 with 4GB that the mfg's decided to call a 470. They (the mfg's) had no reference design, stuffed in ram they found in a recycling bin and pawned them off on unsuspecting consumers.

That being said, I'll be getting some rx460's with 4GB samsung ram later this week for half the cost of a 480.

Good luck with Your purchase. Of course they are the same if You omit fact that You need two RX460 to match one RX470/480 hashrate.

Somebody said they're getting 20+ Mh/s on the 4GB card, I'll be getting one to find out if that's the case.

In any case MSI has taken back their $350 a pop twin garbage cards and I'm stuck without cards or cash and a broken promise that they would call me in "two weeks"; this sucks almost as much as asic pre-order scams. These cards hurt less at $150 a pop if I'm going to get screwed like that on them.

I don't think that is true about the MSI RX 470 chips actually being RX 460s. My RX 470 from MSI hashes very fast. I have an MSI RX 470 Armor 8GB with Samsung ram and it is stock with an unmodded bios. I have only overclocked the memory to 2000MHz (8000) using MSI Afterburner. I am using Claymore Dual Miner on Windows 10 with 16.300.2311.0 driver and getting about 23.5 MH/s on ETH and 280 MH/s on PASC. My -dcri is set to 12. That was the sweet spot for my card.

Same here. Changes to decredpool but now get 100% rejects.
