v9.2:

- improved mining speed stability.
- added changes in DCR mining protocol.
- fixed possible issue with rejected DCR shares on Nicehash pool.
- added pool selection in runtime ("e" and "d" keys).
- now if devfee mining fails for a long time, miner will not stop mining, it will turn on "-nofee" option temporarily with appropriate warnings, until successful devfee mining.
- some minor improvements.
- EthMan: added ReasonID parameter to .bat file which is executed when some rig has problems, check "sample.bat" for details.

NOTES:
1. Mining speed stability is better now, but still is not perfect. I'm working on it.
2. DCR: after changes in DCR mining protocol, both pool and mining software must be upgraded. At this moment the miner works with Suprnova, but fails with Nicehash, probably they will update their pool soon. Or may be they applied changes somehow differenty.

Back up and mining..... it is giving slightly lower hashrates... but I'm sure you'll sort that out.
At least we're mining...
Worth your DeVFee!!

Yeep!
Works fine in my 7970  Grin

You should mine EXP instead of ETH.

New version is working well for me, even overclocked a bit more than usual so far no incorrect shares...will see how far I can push the threshold- last version at 2225 was good but anything higher resulted in lost shares.

Thank you for the update.
Nice work on keeping so many clients updated.

I had not much time for testing due to urgent DCR fix, just noticed slowdown for Polaris on Linux. It is because OpenCL reports that it has 14 compute units (CUs) instead of 36. You can fix it by using undocumented option: specify "-eqlim 288". 288 = CUs * 8. I hate this magic, so I'm working on next update that will have good hashrates with 100% stable mining speed on both Windows and Linux. Just wait a few days.

dcri reduced -2 and have almost same speed ETH as 9.1 but lose 10% ot DCR speed. Maybe its more stable i have too random drops -5% on ETH but its good to see we have new version. thanks
apparently v 9.2 gives less stable hash than 9.1 for some of us.
...and I was so proud of myself that I had 9.1 doing more stable than the most people reported, including Claymore Smiley

I got exactly the same behavior on 380/470 cards.

Isn't there 12 MHs for 7970 too low?

I am hesitant to update because of these lower hashrate reports. I may try on my test rig to see what hashes i get on 9.2 vs 9.1 (I usually use 25 or 27 -dcri)

Could someone share their overclock settings for their RX480s? I'm changing memory MHz and it doesn't seem to change speed any.  What is the most stable software to use to overclock?  Afterburner?  AMD Settings?  WattTool?  Thanks!

My current preference is WattTool. for my 480s and 470s, the mem clocks depends mostly on the mem type.. for samsung I aim for 2100 (some need to be lower to be stable like 2050 it seems.. i use custom strap timings for samsung based on 1750 strap)

For hynix/elpida my mem is usually around 1900-2000 (maybe higher on some if i use a higher mem strap than 1500)

v9.2 is more stable speeds so far but with a small hash rate reduction however the more stable speeds should out weigh the slower shown performance. Will know in about 24 Hrs.

@Claymore Nice of you to update DCR with Stake Version 3. Any plans to fix the rates now?

on ubuntu same settings:
before:
ETH - Total Speed: 23.846 Mh/s, Total Shares: 0, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:00
ETH: GPU0 23.846 Mh/s
 DCR - Total Speed: 929.999 Mh/s, Total Shares: 0, Rejected: 0
 DCR: GPU0 929.999 Mh/s
after:
ETH - Total Speed: 21.528 Mh/s, Total Shares: 0, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:00
ETH: GPU0 21.528 Mh/s
 DCR - Total Speed: 839.593 Mh/s, Total Shares: 0, Rejected: 0
 DCR: GPU0 839.593 Mh/s

I've noticed speed issue only on LINUX on windows 9.2 works fine.

Does your balance increase? Mine is the same for 15 minutes now but the shares get accepted

your balance will increase when we find a block... with this hashrate and diff it may take some time

v9.2 slightly reduced performance.  dcri 23 => same DCR yet ~2% lower eth rate (2-4W less consumption on 470)

Definitely slower, why is this happening?
you should decrease dcri 1-2 points to get eth speed back

Yes, but I loose DCR speed...
