Nvidia people are beating us.
Almost 500 H/s with their overpriced 1070 and almost 600 H/s with the even more overpriced 1080.

I get 550 on 1060 3gb with 40 watt in the wall..

Which miner do you use?

I am hesitating between amd or nvidia for my next rig

Can You tell me few online USA shops with good price of RX480, please?

NewEgg's eBay shop - which has a lower price than their main website 'cause they don't waste the money on those stupid "free game" offers.

Very good shop for computers in Europe. 100,000 high-quality products from Germany at prices from producers: https://www.computeruniverse.net Promo code will get more discount: FWW6XJV

I am still impress with how PoW algorithm is still making its presence felt . So much has adopted the less resource PoS algortihm but mining has still the premium value all investors are craving for.

hello guys. again me Grin i need a little help.  Would it be a problem to use two different chipset graphics cards? Such as rx 480 and r9 290x?

nah - shouldn't be. I run a nVidia GTX along side a RX480, hah.
hahaha:) really?  If it s working i am thinking of buying r9 290x
yeah you can run 290x with 480 , just buy nano instead of 290x the price is same
even nvidia can run with amd card on same special msi motherboard,

thanks dude one more think How is the r9 290x tri x?
Warm and sound... omg is this Claymore's tread?
Sound and heat will not be a problem for me. The price of the 390x is a bit expensive compared to the r9 290x. Is it worth it?

according to the posted sols 320/350

Check drivers FIRST - AMD is REAL spotty on supporting pre-R9 3xx cards with the same driver version you need to run the RX series, for some reason they only support SOME of the R9 2xx series on the 16.x.x series drivers.

I'm not sure they even support all of the R9 3xx series drivers on 16.x.x as I don't have any of that series so never had a reason to check compatability.

sure.It seems to support 16.12.2 drivers in both. On my drivers 16.12.2. What else should I look at?

Not true, With Samsung memory stock = 400 , OC - 420 , Micron memory stock =380 , oc - 400

A few people are getting almost 500H/s with the 1070 and one guy has like 540H/s or so with the 1080 on the Nicehash miner.

It's a bit of a pain to set up compared to keeping it "all in the family", but yes you can mix and match.

Also, seems to play more reliably if you don't mix generations, and don't mix venders.

With that said, I do have several rigs that run an AMD APU (R7 generation graphics) with NVidia cards, and one "monster" that runs an A10-7860k with a NVidia GTX 950 and a pair of RX 470s.

I DO wish someone (HELLO GIGABYTE?) would come out with an "ITX Shorty" RX 470 or RX 480 like Gigabyte has for the GTX 1070.

Next best option would be AMD dropping the price on their WX-series cards to something SANE instead of the crazy-high current pricing compared to non-WX equivalents.

Dear Sir,
I have a strange issue(I don't know if its issue at all)
This is displayed when I start miner.
Quote
AMD Cards available: 1
GPU #0: Hawaii, 3072 MB available, 40 compute units
GPU #0 recognized as Radeon 290

But clinfo recognizes it correct:
Quote
Number of devices:                               1
  Device Type:                                   CL_DEVICE_TYPE_GPU
  Vendor ID:                                     1002h
Board name:                                    AMD Radeon (TM) R9 390 Series
  Device Topology:                               PCI[ B#2, D#0, F#0 ]

And also the memory of the GPU is 8GB, not 3GB as zecminer says...
Should I be worried?
