@claymore

I have noticed that my reported sol/s is alot higher than what flypool shows.

I have just updated the miners to 9.3 but that was quick.

I am using ssl and the rejects have always been low. Less than 1%

3.9k vs 3.4k is a huge gap.

Let at least 12h stats adjustements especially on flypool

what is a the moment the best pool for mining ZEC

I am at the moment using dwarfpool but they are finding less blocks then others

How many cards your rigs have ? there is multiple ports for difficulty on dwarfpool, need to use the proper one to get maximum shares (i find the default vardiff one to be less efficient)

I have one rig with 3x 7950 and one with 2x 280x
building a thirt one

using the 3333 at dwarfpool
thanks for the help

Ok 3333 is the basic vardiff one, following the zcash page @ dwarfpool

Main-Port (vardiff): 3333
Stratum-Port (dwarf=8,miner=256): 3334 for CPU
Stratum-Port (dwarf=128,miner=4096): 3335 for one videocard
Stratum-Port (dwarf=512,miner=16384): 3336 for rigs with 2-4 cards
Stratum-Port (dwarf=1024,miner=32768): 3337 for rigs with >=5 cards

try following this, and in 24h compare Smiley

Hi Claymore,

At first, I appreciate to your work.
About miner monitor, is it possible to implement encrypted traffic between miner and monitoring software, also I think it is a good to shown the local clock and date on a web page UI.
I wish you much success in the coming year!

that would be great!

NOTE: v9.3 is not performance release, in this version I improved compatibility/stability in GPU code and fixed Linux-related issues. You can use older versions if they are good and stable for you.

thank you!
@claymore:
"- added support for round robin DNS"
I'm not a network specialist, so I ask what that means and why is that feature good for us?
I red about round robin but I didn't find the answer. Sorry if it's a dummy question.

In theory, pools can balance servers load with this feature. Nicehash pool asked me about this feature so I added it. If a pool has several IPs and first IP fails, miner will try to connect to the second IP, etc.

Claymore, Is there any room for further hash improvement for RX cards or that's it?

I think it's possible to get better speed, but not too much.

Thank you for the answer. And also thanks for m1n1ngP4d4w4n  Wink

Ahah my pleasure, i wasn't expecting sir claymore to answer this promptly, he's always on top of things isn't he ;-)

Just tried it out and it gave me some small performance improvements. But lets see how it does in the long run Smiley

pool.northernminers.com <--- putting 1 ZEC additional to the winning prize.

when you will make new miner for monero???

The old miner is already very efficient.
Not a right thread for it, but I'd like Monero miner supports reboot.bat.

Hi can anyone help me i have a psu on 700w and 2x rx 470 xfx 4gig & 1x rx 480 nitro 8gig and i dosen't get it to work when i start the miner my computer hangs and i have to restart it a fast easy guide to undervolt cards or something pls!

thats more then enough. With normal clocking you need 300 watts with picks at 450. Chances are you are over clocking above the cards capabilities. Start with one card only with normal settings. Then add another and another. That will pinpoint if the problem is with the PSU

Thx dude! Think i got it to work now. . . 15 min with no problems <3

claymore, my 8g rx480 shows memory usage of 60% and GPU usage of 100% with drops to 0% several times a minute. Do you think it might take another thread?

Quote
GPU and memory are busy completely, you can check it by starting two miner instances, you will not get more speed.
Due to PoW implementation, GPU cannot utilize all its resources, so you don't see 100%.

Claymore, after a more detailed analysis it seems to be associated with a new job. Perhaps my old mobo still on pci-e 2?
