ZecMiner64.exe -mport 0 -zpool ssl://asia1-zcash.flypool.org:3443 -zwal t1xxxx.worker -zpsw x -i 8 -dbg -1

ZEC: Stratum - connecting to 'asia1-zcash.flypool.org' <209.58.164.95> port 3443 (SSL/TLS)
Cannot establish SSL/TLS connection
ZEC: Stratum - Cannot connect to asia1-zcash.flypool.org:3443
ZEC: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec...
GPU0 t=30C fan=0%, GPU1 t=29C fan=0%, GPU2 t=22C fan=64%

Am I doing something wrong?

STILL CANT CONNECT SSL.

9.1 can't connect using SSL to flypool servers (tried all servers), so I have to use non-encrypted connection.

BUT, DevFee defaults to SSL, and when DevFee can't connect, my rig stops mining in the middle of the night!!

Can someone please help?

@ocminer, can't connect to suprnova with SSL. Any help?

I just tried your config.. Works fine!?

Hi,

someone can explain to me :

i rent my rig on MRR. i have try many pool before with static diff and vardiff. the best diff is around ~8000H.
a renter make 136000H for diff and in 6 hour he have make on average 5.12kH/s.
Claymore's zcashminer indicate 1,425kH/s, the renter make 365.1% more than me Smiley

Whats the link to your MRR, maybe it's easier to look there?

Very strange, I think you are right in saying it would be something to do with vardiff, but i'm not 100% sure.

pushing 3x 470 nitro's a bit hard at 230~ sol each.. + overclocked 2500k cpu + some hdds = 620-650w@wall..

630w Rosewill green series psu... been perfectly stable since 9.0 release..
guess it doesn't have any "fancy protection" other than when it catches on fire and/or explodes  Shocked
(definitely seeing the spikes to 250+w~ per card though.. rather scary.)

lol, my r9 390x is about 280W

"secure" also means that you can't see anymore what the miner is sending - you now need a lot of trust that there is nothing hidden. this might work for claymore - but other will jump the ship and now you also have to trust them - before you could check it easily.

Just imagine version 10 doing only "secure", pools should hurry up investing in ssl stuff.

9.1 a bit better

but stability issues still continue.
Stability is not Claymore's issue!
It's probably PSU issue .
You get significally higher hashrate but it costs some power usage and it is logical.
So you have to ensure proper PSU and do not blame Claymore

rejects are caused by the pool not the miner

i'm on ssl://zec.suprnova.cc 0.1-0.2% rejects like without ssl

The widespread issues with 9 which led to a quick 9.1 both of which now report more rejected shares is suspect in the very least.
