Does it have to be a monitor or can it just be a adaptor? Sure I read earlier in the thread people have been using cheap adaptors from ebay/amazon to help fix this.

For me an adaptator never work only, custom adaptator maybe or dummy plug like this

I had this issue at the beginning on 2 of my rigs too. As soon as I remote connected into them one of the GPUs started top mine only at half speed. After I disconnected and waited for 10-20 minutes everything was restored to the normal speed.

If you pay for electricity IMO you should not buy them. Too much power consumption for ~120H/s.

Not worth. 390 is far better

21 MH/s on ethash and 110 H/s on equihash, so ethash is much more profitable for this card

with this modded bios it goes up to 24 MH/s:

You are right. I am not bothered to switch to ZEC from ETH. I did that a few times before, had to switch back soon.

You have very bad ping times, have you tried the other nanopool urls ? (zec-us-west1.nanopool.org, zec-us-east1.nanopool.org, zec-eu2.nanopool.org, zec-eu1.nanopool.org) or port 16666 instead of 6666 ?

nope i didn't tried either of above but yes i changed the port to 16666
let me give it a try again

Edit : changed pool url to eu1 [problem solved]
