Alright. Final revision, I think. Took the liberty of color-coding names. If that makes it look too much like rainbow vomit, can undo that easily enough. If that all looks good, that's how I'll do future versions.

(oh, and planning on adding "timestamp" references in future transcriptions, but I really don't want to listen to the debate again to add it in this one.)

Guys a confirmation would be nice i am about to start i dont want to write anything that has been done.

İs it alright that i do 10-11-12-13-14??

Sure. But I don't want people to make too many claims on episodes, so please just post here that you're working on them and offer a prospected timeframe. I guess that's more than enough to reduce the risk of double work.

 Scribd is a good choice.

I will take 10-11-12-13-14 for now. Just 5 of these . If there is a problem with any of them please let me know.

I'll take dibs on E30-E39 (inclusive) unless there's overwhelming demand. Will think about alternative formatting schemes. LTB/MTM have any ideas on best way to display? Something like a server-side .doc or even .pdf viewer might be worthwhile. A captioned audio format might be interesting, too, though I'd guess it'd require unfamiliar software there, too, to display.

Will start in on it tomorrow night. Should be finished by end of month.

No no Cheesy I mean 10$ per hour of transcription needed work. So 1 hour video = 10$ type of deal, well at least where I live it is like that Cheesy medical translators get like 50 or more for 1 hour of work , but you can do it in 10 minutes or 1000 minutes its up to you as long as you dont pass the deadline Cheesy not hours put in , but hours that were given.

edit: also sitting here with 120 wpm , I believe I can finish 3-4 in one day easily , but I trusted the fact that I have friday off from work in which I will do my best to finish at least 5 of them , so today tomorrow and friday will bring me 10 in total  Cheesy if not I will leave the rest but for now I really really really want to monopolize 10 of these just in case Cheesy If I can that would be great.

Also taking into consideration many of us here are not transcriptionists , the pay is not THAT horrible.
I mean its usually 10$ per hour of work. lets say I do 10 hours (whic is like 10 episodes) I get 100$ which we get even more than that here,

I guess you're underestimating the time needed for a transcription. I see a transcription of an hour-long episode as something like 5 hours of work, probably even more if you're not a trained writer.

You might want to try a single episode first, to see what you're getting into Wink

I think it is wrong to acquire 1-9 , but if thats the case I will do 10 of your choice of episodes until saturday. You could pm me which , I wont mind which one (could be longest 10 if you want Cheesy )

Though a great one would cost you around 500$ from real professionals of this job Cheesy

Why don't you claim some episodes, it's over 42 hours of audio with todays release so I think there's room for everybody.

qwk - You want to add a list of all the episodes so we can keep track of who is working on what?

Episodes 1-9, to be completed by 10/22, probably way sooner.

I'll just post this here, everybody can see that you'll be working on those episodes, so others won't take them from you.

Also, everybody please make sure you're not working on an already transcribed episode. For example, there's already transcripts for the interviews of the Bitcoin Foundation Individual Seat Candidates:
http://bitcoinmagazine.com/6823/bitcoin-foundation-individual-seat-candidate-transcription-index/

If you find other transcripts somewhere, don't claim them as your own, but please post a link here.

Okay, first bounty sent to Kluge, thanks again for the effort.
TX: https://blockchain.info/de/tx/2ffd3454f08880c964490d61cccb0464e9cdccb7d0c8277c8d7e7bd904429fd2
(this is just my part of the bounty, 0.1 BTC, the rest will be from mindtomatter)

@mindtomatter: I'm not a listener, I prefer written text. So this is really how I want to consume the episodes.
Also, I like to be able to quote my sources, not refer to "E41, 22:32 at LetsTalkBitcoin" Wink

Kluge brought up the issue of pasting transcripts being too long to be posted here. I guess it'd be best to have them hosted directly at LetsTalkBitcoin, so I'll be changing the rules for the bounty to include the right to have it posted there. If you could upload it there, maybe you'll want to add a few requirements for the format etc. Obviously, you'll have to honor the author of the transcript by including his name somewhere.

qwk asked for this to be reposted here. I reformatted it a bit to hopefully meet the specs he wanted.

Bitcoin Foundation Debate #2 for Individual Seat election in 2013
Original air date: September 14, 2013 (original audio version on LTB)

ETA: If you want the example further edited for style/aesthetics, I can do that, too. Pastebin text isn't exactly easy on the eyes. The text can't fit in one BTCTalk post (hard forum limitation), though.

(Thanks to abdussamad for giving name to German word giving me trouble)
