I've been getting about 5% stale shares for the past several hours -- much higher than on any other pool.

same here

EDIT: is this our first invalid block? http://blockexplorer.com/block/0000000000000b93a14601382adc58f702742afc9fc9a0636ca8cec2a0f8873f

No, it's in the current main blockchain.

I'm getting 1.9% stales with minecoin, yet 0.1% with another pool.  Is there something going on?

i like how the graph shows that this pool is used by a couple of poolhoppers...

Actually we have a user who has around 10GH of speed, but is having problems with his power and his internet connectivity. That has caused most of the spikes in the graph as 10GH is over 10% of the pool.

However lots of people are swapping over when a new block starts, and most are staying. Obviously there is some pool hopping going on, but very low scale.

dum dum dum, another block bites the dust... another block down, another block down... another block bites the dust!

That's awesome. Remember when we were at 40GH?

For me, phoenix never worked reliably with network connections. Long Polling would die after a few hours every time (=> no more LP: work pushed). And sometimes it would fail to get new work from the pool, sitting idle until restart.

So maybe you should try poclbm+phatk and see if it works.

Or use DiabloMiner which has much better networking code.

Hello,

Is the same thing still happening?

Hi,

if you're asking me, yesterday around 23:14 UTC+2 all my miners went idle but I did find they were sleeping only this morning Sad and then I rebooted my rigs.

Right now they're working ok, I'll report back if it happens again.

Hi Wuked,

there is one thing right now that I don't understand: I've got two miners minining on your pool, one miner shows new blocks being pushed at him, the other one no:

They're running on the same rig, so the clock is the same for both of them, using two different accounts; how is it possible that at 18:14:02, for example, one of them does not receive a new block? Miners on other pools all received a new block with a +-1 second accuracy.

The one that is not receiving new blocks is not hanged, as it can be seen from its clock. They're both phoenix 1.5

Regards.

We are talking on IRC about implementing something to stop pool hopping - come talk to us if you want III.

At the end of the block, if you were the leader then you would have had the most shares, and the most reward. The people who left would have had less reward.

I was telling people now is a good time to join because lots of people said they prefer to join the pool when a new block is started so they don't lose out in the changeover. I'm not trying to promote pool hopping, just letting people know if they want to move, then now was a good time Smiley

Hope that makes sense, and hope you come back to the pool! Smiley

I - the leader in the pool. From the beginning of the block - The current rate of 55 Gh / s at the end of 32 Gh / s. all run away to other pools. To be paid only to those who extracts the block at least 90%. It will be fine. rightly

I think he (or she) is saying that when we had a block that took 3 days to crack you weren't telling people it was a good time to join in... but now you are almost inviting poolhoppers...

Ppl can see that we are on a new block anyway. Its just that some miners where switching pools because of that long block and we could need new blood to replace them - I believe that was Wukeds intend.

So come and join in if you're not a pool hopper - we have a great community on IRC going too Cheesy.

Dear Wuked, how to conclude a block an extent 3 days - from you appeals it was not heard, and on a new block you call new. Do you consider that conclude large blocks those, whoever a money need? A policy for you is not correct

I'm sorry but I have trouble understanding what you are asking ?
