Total dividend on mpex will be about 1721 BTC

And there are 13 million shares there?

Dude, where the $$#$ is my dividend?

Good question!

Sorry for the delay this month. I'm currently travelling with spotty internet access. I moved some funds into MPEX today and will be sending the dividend out within 24 hrs.

Total dividend on mpex will be about 1721 BTC

Thanks for your patience.

Seconded. This Internet access is atrocious but at least there are giant yellow sharks in blue suits. Bitcoin users affected  Angry

Dude, where the $$#$ is my dividend?

CoinBR is on it, seems the dividends go out the 5th of every month at the latest.

https://www.bitcoinforum.com/coinbr-com/s-dice-dividends

Hope I eased some fears. Smiley
Just to clarify, it's not dependent on CoinBr as we're just MPEx interface. Like everyone else, CoinBr is waiting for evoorhees to pay out via MPEx. SatoshiDice MPEx contract says they're obliged to do so till March 5.

Any more speculation on the dividends for this month? Doog in the technical analysis thread made an educated guess in the range of 0.0001xx per share.

Could this be related to any selloff today?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=148184.0;all
That's bitfunder PTs, and DT hasn't being online to transfer it to MPEx so no.

I wonder, has he sold those 30K shares. Problem is, that gypsy lunatics one stock wunder-bazaar bid side is sooo thin, it will push the price to low 0.002 or evens 10's.
If this happens, ianbakewell's short-sell will backfire an the coin he actually gets is way less he probably needs/wants/expects.
If there are no fundamental reasons for S.DICE to trade in low 20's, he will have really hard time getting the shares back because his buy orders will push all those hysterical 10 share trading bots to overdrive and ... you know the rest.
I guess he has to sell when the whales swim to the surface to fart but this is usually signals a share dump by a man in a funny hat and mask. He will make sure you all have enough shares for a while Wink
Is 0.001-0.002 range a correct price for S.DICE? Why not?

33,500+ shares were traded on bitfunder pass through in the past 48 hours. The price hasn't been extremely volatile - either on the bid side or the ask side.
Dumping shares would be retarded and loss making for ianbakewell. But with a little bit of patience and observance, he could make a decent profit selling and buying back 30,000 shares over the next 45 days.

For both our sakes I hope you're right and the asks start getting cleared out.

so if I understand correctly, these asks are just there to push the price down so that those in a rush to sell have to go low? It is one guy manipulating everything?

If the market can be moved that heavily with seemingly not a whole lot of effort, what's to stop a person or group of people with a big enough bankroll from putting up bogus bids/asks and slowly stepping the market price up to a certain point, then cashing out? Is this what is referred to as a "pump and dump"?

Thank you all for humoring me.

The cashing out would be the hard part - you can make the market price move up just by spending cash.  But you can't make people put up bids - and there's usually very few bids up.  And as you're seeing right now, as soon as someone starts selling, the buyers all stop putting up bids.

And yes - that would be a pump and dump attempt.

Why is the market so illiquid? in other words, why do buyers not appear even when shares are being offered at discounted prices? Isn't that bearish for S.DICE overall, if no one will allow the price to rise by buying into rallies?

Because recently Bitcoin price is constantly rising, so the bid side is very difficult(asset value is constant, but underlying currency's value keep going up, so it's better to just hold the currency), you have to monitor your orders 24/7, otherwise a 20% run up in BTC price will make your bid order a joke. Therefore many people, including me simply don't put any bid up, or put them very low.

Even considering it pays a dividend? I would think the dividend being paid out would be incentive enough to buy. You are constantly getting BTC for holding.
