We haven't spent "a lot of money" in the design, it's our graphics guy doing his thing as usual. That part is something we have more control of, as the packaging is done completely in-house. The physical metal itself, as we're not a mint, is something we have less control of. Other than talking to the mint to improve quality and/or changing mint, which we are working on all the time.
We're overall happy with the end quality of the 1 BTC coins. Some of the auction coins aren't some of the best due to later improvements in the polishing process and the auction ones were the first to be produced & shipped. The silver coins right now require a huge amount of manual polishing to make them look good and most of them are pretty good.
