Good idea, indeed my country there are still some people who do gambling with fighting chickens. But I'm not sure they'll switch to this model. Betting and making money off animal fights is the worst kind of gambling I would ever experience, in my country, we have a game called "Aja Sera" which simply means "Dog race" where dogs are branded and forced to race and gamblers placing bets on the dogs, this is simply animal abuse and should be highly discouraged.

We are in the 21st century and there are so many legitimate ways to make money, even in gambling, there are several games around to make money from, why do we still have to abuse animals all in the name of making money?

I'd hate to be on the side of animal torture, but I feel I should say that I was much younger when I thought a fish fights website wound be a good idea (decades ago, I'm old). Nowadays I'm 100x more likely to kill a human being than an animal of any kind (take that however you want). I don't even fish anymore or own any captive animals. However, I think there are plenty of horrible animal abuses occurring at a much larger scale than any fighting games. In my defense, some of these animals (like Japanese fighting fish) even do these actions normally. They don't need to be trained to fight, it's what they do (unlike dogs that for the most part get along in packs unless taught bad behavior). I'd also point out that human beings fight for sport, and most other animals fight as well (for clout).

That being said, I give plenty of money to the ASPCA and don't think any animal should ever be subjected to anything but love. I reject the idea that I would promote the torture of innocent animals. However, me being a sick fuck is still debatable.

Yes I have heard of cock fight and have also watched it in films, I have a friend from part of Asia he explained this gambling stuff to me saying that his parents and grandparents loves gambling on cock fight. He said also grew up to enjoy it because they see it as fun. I love trying something new,if i happen to see it anywhere I will go and watch and possibly stake my bet after I have observed the game and have seen the rascal chicken that is capable of winning. The banned cockfight game was just the E-Sabong and not the indoor ones which is attended by a mass of people on occasions. In such games of chance, which OP is talking about, a person doesn't even directly touch animals, but creates such conditions in which animals cripple each other. Above you give such examples. If such a game is viewed for passion then it gets some acceptability but when such game is organized for gambling it loses its acceptability completely. Not just cockfighting. In my opinion, none of the animal in the world should be encouraged by gambling to play such a combative game. Moreover, I do not believe that there is any precedent in any religion to accept such a thing. If someone is regularly immersed in such activities then it is everyone's responsibility to bring him back.
