Coinmarketcap.com is more reliable, reputable and very much trusted compared to coin gecko. Reason being that, coinmarketcap.com is patronised and used mostly by everyone and for that, they have more followers. Coin gecko isn't as attractive and often used as coinmarketcap.com.
How can you think like that? Don't you see a lot of garbage exchanges that are first in CMC? How did it happen ? It's true that CMC has more followers, but I don't agree if cmc is considered more reliable

For example, I heard lot that P2PB2B is one of the bullshit exchanges because it has fake volume, but why on coinmarketcap can in the top 3?
Whereas on Coingecko P2PB2B is ranked 114, Does coingecko know if it's bullshit exchange? so it's not in the top 3 like in coin marketcap

So which one do you trust more?
Until the same update in coinmarketcap, I will follow CoinGecko website to use any exchange. But for tracking any new or old coin, I will follow the coinmarketcap website. Of course the coinmarketcap is better than CoinGecko. After the next update of coinmarketcap, the exchange ranking process will be the same as CoinGecko. The exchange ranking process is by volume in coinmarketcap.

until recently I used exclusively coinmarketcap which I continue to consider the best in the sector but lately I have also started using coingecko since he added the feature earn with a list of altcoins that can be staked
on Coingeko there are many coins that have not appeared yet on the coinmarketcap. if you often participate in ICOs or earn money in bounty campaigns, then you can easily track information about your coins there. this is the main advantage of coingeko
yes, and that is true. most of the new tokens or coins generated from the average ICO bounty project are listed on the Coingecko site and we can easily detect them on that site. related coinmarcetcap, I personally also use this site only for needs, especially looking at the list of coin prices or daily market volume.

Actually both of them are really good in cryptocurrency and they have both advantages sometimes there are deferent but both if them are good. Coinmarketcap you can check almost all the details of each coin and tokens in coinmarketcap. In coingecko we can check the price at the same time we can also calculate all your token price that makes you easy to know if how much money you earn if you want to sell your tokens.
both are good, I use both to reference some altcoins that I got from the bounty campaign. because some are already registered with CMC and some are only registered at Coingecko. I also saw blockfolio, but now the calculations are not as accurate as before. sometimes there are price differences that occur in the actual market.

CoinGecko is a new online service that allows bitcoin and altcoin users track cryptocurrency popularity and activity rates online. CoinGecko because we both wanted a way to easily capture all the relevant data relating to cryptocurrencies. CoinMarketCap is the world's most-referenced price-tracking website for cryptographer in the rapidly growing cryptocurrency space. How a top source of bitcoin data contributed to a sudden plunge in digital currencies.

Coingecko and Coinmarketcap have the same goal to serve as an analytical portal for traders and not all bot and script the fetch information are written the same it will always show different results, just like any other exchange the price of token varies.

I frequently use coinmarketcap to track the top altcoins in this market, but sometimes I need to use coingecko because the tokens I earn from bounty are listed there. Both sites are equally good, depending on each person's needs

Why only mention Coingecko? Try out Worldcoinindex. It's a site with real time information and other features you need.
because coingecko is an alternative that is often used in addition to coinmarketcap. other than that, I rarely hear the sites that you tag. however, if people don't use coinmarketcap, then they will look for information on coingecko.

Coinmarketcap and Coingecko are quite good analytical services. I use both of them, because each of them has its own characteristics and capabilities, which are necessary in certain cases

This is my first time seeing this site. Thank you for sharing, a great website with a simple and easy to use interface. I rate this site even better than coingecko

Since Binance bought the Coinmarketcap I've been using it less and less! I think it's better to use Coingecko or Dropstab... Although some coins still have to look at the CMC...
However, at Coingecko I do not trust the forecast and technical analysis...
Although like that, I myself still often use CMC, because in my opinion more detailed than others.
But don't know about other users

Coinmarketcap and Coingecko give their ranking information based on certain market information they have with them. They are different companies with different online tools they are working with, so they have some market variations most times in their reports based on certain key indicators. I think the level of trust on them differs depending on what you want

for each transaction volume, I don't trust it 100% for both because it can be manipulated at any time as you mentioned, but in terms of data information I prefer CMC.
For now you can count on Coinmarketcap and use it. Since CZ ran the coinmarketcap, price manipulation has been removed, small exchanges and fake volumes have been removed from the list. It is a great step to clean this market

For me coinmarketcap is like standard index check or genuine site for checking major holding . I am not generalising for all atleast for me coinmarketcp is standard one . But coingecko where the only one place can check the low volume or dust holding . I found some of holding trade pair in coingecko . So it helped me to sell some of the coins  I thought never sellable. Thanks for coingecko. Also I aground some useful information about token in coin gecko compare to coinmarketcap.
