The coins for hold is bitcoin because the company of the bitcoin is the best company among the rest and the business of bitcoin is proven and tested to the public because they are the best.
I only know ETH and BTC. But as far as I know, investors are investing in NEO, LTC, EOS, XRP, IOTA, Bitcoin cash, .. You should choose one of these altcoins for higher quality.
Personally, I prefer to go to Ripple. This is a significant part of the coins I will hold. But holding in one coin is dangerous, for this I prefer Stellar and NEO. For myself, I recently discovered the possibilities and perspectives of the EOS. Well, this, of course, not counting the bitcoin and the Ethereum.
As of now, all we can do is to just hold our coins and wait to them to recover, i mean to rise up again the price. Honestly i holding my 5bitcoins for about 9 months, waiting for the price to rise and i didnt expect that it will drop into 6k. I regret that i didnt sell it 9 months ago with price of 14k i guess. For me there is on this account a number of coins.I invest in ziliko, ripple, cardano, NEO

I think there such huge numbers of altcoins for us to hold for long haul as long as regardless we think they can possibly ascend later on, and obviously we should pick deliberately in light of the fact that holding can be hazardous when the market is in downtrend, it is so difficult to get benefit when the value continue falling in spite of the way that we can get more altcoins. be that as it may, as a long haul holders, we can simply pick great altcoins from the maket to hold.
Yes that is right, but I think that we need to be too much careful, because there are still a lot of crypto currencies which I do not think have good future. I think that we need to first study the altcoins where we are interested to invest our money, because I have already seen a lot of coins which are dead and they do not have any future.

I consider XEM, Pundi X, ProximaX promising coins. Now they are very sagged, but the projects are strong and there is a working product. That's just how much they will cost, no one knows.

I think all the cryptocurrencies from top 50 are worth buying and holding except Tether of course. But if you'd like in particular then I would name XEM, Stellar, Tezos, Vechain, Omisgo, Ontology, Nano, 0x, Aerternity, Metaverse, PundiX, Waltonchain, BAT and some others.
Current cryptomarket is weak so much so holding could be done with all coins that you have I think. You can just buy new cryptocurrencies but do not sell them.
I think Neo is the best options because Neo is a good project.I believe that Neo is at a fraction of its potential price and will certainly compete with Ethereum in terms of market share.
Nowadays all country people hold the bitcoin and ethereum long time. All coin price is not stable. So people buy the coin price down time. It any time to increase but not easy to guess. So people hold the best coin. It good idea. But plan to work and process. Coin best investment. So choose the best coin and wait for the price down. Then invest. Coin price is not easy to choose. So follow the market place price then maeck a plan then invest.
If for a really long time, like a year or several years, then I think the etherium will give more profit than the first coin!

I would like to suggest ripple or xrp for long-term holding, it has a great potential with these past months. Ripple is also one of the top in the altcoins like ethereum so I believe that this is also will have a bright future and now is the good chance to buy some cheap altcoins in the market for long term investment. I also suggest that if you want for long term investment that much, everytime the market goes down buy altcoins that you wish to hold for your investment to increased your earnings in the future. I think that in the long run will be good such coins as Ripple, EOS, ADA, OMG, LYM and NEO. In Ethereum, I would not yet invest, but in Bitcoin is clearly worth it.
