Can i delete all imported Bitcoin wallets because its waste of time and load on servers of blockchain

Bitcoin core-qt could use some multithreading when importing keys... it seems the "rescanning" phase only uses 1 core and thus it favors high clock frequencies (say a dual core at 4 ghz) vs an octacore xeon at 2ghz.

The addresses they released lately contain ~0.03 BTC

Turns out that even this on it's own is enough to clog up mempool... Each address gets hundreds of unconfirmed transactions

Seriously guys, it's too large even if you send 0.000001 BTC, and too small if you go below that. lolz this is a good spam attack
Are you using Bitcoin Core? Use coin control and manually select inputs, then it is going to work. However, obviously you will not be able to send a lot of money this way.

I remember that Armory does not support the same address format that Bitcoin-Qt uses, but I can't find anything relevant about this right now.

Warning: Confrmed Gavinista
so, as i see it; if multiple user have the same private key and they try to make a transaction to another wallet - the one whose transactions are mined first, gets it? the first one will be the one who splits it in the smallest transactions; but in the end transaction costs will be higher than the transaction amount?

it's a mess - huge waste of time

I dont know - it worth observing peoples behaviour at the very least.

Unless you are manually hacking transactions together to get a decent single output I dont think you will make anything out of this.  If you are too granular then fee's will eat it all up. I managed to cobble a few tx's with ~70 inputs each, but with a decent fee to ensure it got through ( early ones took 2 hours to appear in a block, some a lot longer) it wasn't worth the effort of writing the script.

Still, I've learned some cool 'hidden features' in bitcoind.  Cheesy   That, and my php's gone to shot.

this also seems to have another attack vector.
some miners seem to be trying to sweep these transaction themselves.

if 1mb of UTXOs from coinwallet > fees they are going to get, i betcha some miners would rather have blocks with 2-3 txs if that lets them earn more by sweeping these coins.

Look like many people are excited about this!

I am sure someone will come out with a bot to sweep all these dust. Happy programming! Cheesy

No. This is something on your end. Have you even read any of my posts on this thread? This does work, or at least it did. I have not tested anything after my first post here, so some of the newer keys might be invalid.

Maybe you've made a mistake while copying the private key or something? Try using Electrum to verify quickly if they're valid (you can use multiple at the same time).

I've created a small NodeJS script that uses the Blocktrail API (SDK) to loop over the WIFs that have been published (manually copy pasted them into a list) and fetch their info, see; https://gist.github.com/rubensayshi/5f939d2de23071b85432

WIFs 472
addrs 472
addrs with balance 403
received 14.69008000
balance 11.09027000
unconfirmed balance -5.68942000
utxos 1,109,027
utxos size 158,590.861kb

There is an error
Code:

client.addresses(addresses, function(err, addresses) {
               ^
TypeError: undefined is not a function

awh yea, had to bump the version of the NodeJS SDK, it didn't have that endpoint added to it yet :/ (done now)

You probably have to install the dependencies ... usually `npm install` but you could just do them manually too. (I'm guessing)

I suggest Never use Online wallet except Blockchain.info especially the OP and developer be a Newbie User .......

Why not get off to a right proper start and use a Trezor with MyTrezor.com.

I tried one on my full node server out of curiosity and had to kill the process, tread carefully guys, this is more trouble than its worth.
I tried in a vps and after 20 minutes the amount appeared typing bitcoin-cli getinfo

but it couldn't be spent just a waste of time.

All the coins I have moved are not even appearing in any online blockchain after 2 hours.

I sent a 0,50$ transaction to coinbase and didn't work either.

Yep same here...Look at your bitcoin address and see if the coins are even there

That is what im doing, im sending 0.003-0.004 transactions which are 100kb

This is an advantage for those people who have core installed on their machine and is synced up until the last block since the 'giveaway' started. So I assume you have gathered a plenty right now? Cheesy

My core is still syncing but How would I transfer small amounts from blockchain to core?

You can't due to blockchain not showing stats correctly unlike the full client. Also due to how many users are also doing the same thing on their system.

A 5 btc transaction is 200MB. Good luck sending a 200mb transaction through the bitcoin network.

I hope that this makes sense guys. Smiley You cannot send that much in just a single transaction. If you really want to get the amount you want to have, use core and the coin control feature.

This 'giveaway' thing is pretty neat and a mayhem in disguise. Congrats! We just did the stress-test ourselves! Cheesy
