It is a common sentence, i was also reply same like you.
Actually my thinking is that, if halving is not coming in this year, so i never and ever sell my bitcoins less than 5 years, even the bitcoins price would be cross $1000, because i have a plan to save it when ever i can save it.
But i want to utilize the halving first time, and i also want to see what we can do in halving.

good plan. I'll sell all my bitcoin when the pump comes. do not waste the opportunity. but many people are still waiting to halving come? when they could buy more when the price drops. because basically the price ups and downs

Even though I do not know exactly how many bitcoins you have currently, but let me assume that at about age 30 you have between 5 and 10 bitcoins, and you are able to invest about $100 or more a month into bitcoin. If within the next 10 years, you are able to accumulate 20 or 30BTC, you may be in a very good position to retire early.
Yeah, none of us know for sure what is going to happen with bitcoin, but investing regularly may be very positive for your financial situation. It would also be prudent for you to diversify some of your risks and make other investments too, if they are available to you, such if you get a job with a 401k plan. . and things like that.

I think we all the truthful answer to this question is I would sell all bitcoin if it went down to ten dollars because I would so scared it was about to lose all value. Thats how it really works but also I think if it goes up alot people actually buy not sell because want to hop on train of success
