They have already been proven to have hidden the scope of the outbreak while they simultaneously were buying up all the world's PPE so they could sell it back to them later. Accidental leak or not, natural or man made, it was used as a biological weapon against the rest of the world.
We can agree they definitely went out of their way to down play it early on (December/Early Jan). But I think the most likely reason is the same reason the United States downplayed it in February - if you make a big deal about how bad it mightbe the economy would takes an instant hit guaranteed. Act like it's no big deal and you might get lucky and be right.

Now, regarding CV rather than me, Rivers' revision of Koch's postulates is an upgrading of Koch's. They are a good enough revision that they should be used in determining if there is a virus or not.

yet he debunks himself in that video.the reporter says that the National intelliagence agency and scientists concur that it was not man made from a lab.. and pompeo then says he agrees with their statement.
He did contradict himself but that doesn't change the fact that it originated in the Wuhan lab. It could have been a naturally occurring disease that was released to the public due to irresponsible research. Alternatively, it could also have been human modified to increase virulence which ended up escaping the lab.
The thing about the virus that came from the Wuhan lab, is that it is a virus of trickery... not a standard RNA-type virus. The proof of this lies in the fact that the lab people haven't shown any proof that they did the actual experimentation that is required to show a virus.
