Corruption is a disease eating the progress of the developing countries and I don't think it will ever stop. This makes the currently developing countries not have hope, it's not until they see the iota of hope that things can change for them. I did my research a while ago and discovered that the same factors are responsible for the stagnancy and retardation of all of them (as the case may be).

If we remove corruption, then poor leadership is another huge factor. No creative and visionary leaders but quacks who can't read between the lines, not to mention overhauling the entire system.
That's right. Corruption in a country is indeed one of the main roots of the problem that can hinder the progress of a country and can even make the country poor. So corruption can be said to be a serious threat to the country because it has eroded state finances and weakened institutions. In addition, corruption can damage public trust in state institutions so that when carrying out their duties they are no longer effective and there are many others that are very numerous if mentioned one by one. But what is certain is that corruption is a common enemy that must be fought by all components of the nation and even the world.

If you want to eradicate corruption, the first thing you must do is have the right leader and be chosen in the right way. Many officials commit corruption in a country because they were chosen in the wrong way and with the wrong system. In addition, the simplest way that everyone can do to eradicate corruption is to stop calling it corruption from now on, but just call it "stealing people's money". Stop calling it corrupt, but just call it "thief" because the words corruption and corrupt are words that have the impression of being intelligent and classy, while the words stealing and stealing people's money are insulting words that have been instilled since childhood, the last one is by giving the death penalty for corruptors.

With developing economies of the world struggling to stand and be among the top Economies of the world and compite with the rest of the world corruption seems to be the biggest problem that is bedeviling developing Economies of the world, mostly African Economies.
Am of the view that these Economies will not have any meaningful economic progress until they deal with the problem of corruption in their countries because looking at these developing Economies most of them are very blessed with mineral and human resources but what is the problem that they can't even afford their citizens with the basic necessities that they need such as good road's, electricity, access to quality health care system and a access to quality education system.

Until corruption is done away these Economies will continue to be puppies in the world
corruption cannot get away because of civilian leadership or democratic leadership that is existing right now for we to have a good governance in different countries is for us to leave the military power again to rule because what is causing corruption across different countries it is because of emulation from other countries will reference from other once that look at the way they act and the way they behave in terms of the economic ways so other people who is not well educated and the also have vision to their country will you like to emulate such wrong kind of leadership so if military should take over that is only where such thing can be stop that is why I am emphasizing that for economy of a country to be better military need to take over leadership and they said things in good conduct before the hand over to democratic government

Corruption is the root of everything that destroys a country. Due to corruption, the country's development is hindered, the economy deteriorates, and inflation increases. When every sector of the country is plagued by corruption, a large amount of money is smuggled abroad from the country, and at one point, the country's reserves are empty. When a country's recharge is empty, the country has no other way to go except bankruptcy. Look back a little, and you will see the situation in Sri-Lanka. Corruption is enough to destroy a country and nation, nothing else is needed.

Corruption must be suppressed to protect the country or nation. If corruption can be suppressed and brought forward in the best possible way, then the country's economy will move forward. The country will slowly recover everything and walk towards development. All the people of the country will see the light of hope. If corruption can be stopped, that country will stand tall in the world.
That's the problem, with corruption, things that can go towards progress and improvement, goes towards making a few rich people. In my nation for example, if we look at all the money we wasted on making some companies and families rich, that money could have made us a lot better and everyone could have afforded everything, but because of corruption, hundreds of billions of dollars are gone to make sure a few families are happier.

The reality is that, as long as corruption exists, we are not going to get great results and that's the sad part about living in this current situation. I believe we need to do a lot better and for that reason I believe that we are going to make much more money in order to cover the difference as well. If you are making whatever you are making now, add 10% on top of that as corruption waste, because government and those who are in power will always use that and will take it from you. Unfortunately this can't be stopped, I have never seen a method that could stop this.

I completely agree with you on your submission here that corruption is the biggest nightmare of developing economies especially the African continent which is unarguably the most blessed continent but is still the poorest still borrowing to service their budget and living by the mercies of first world countries the main cause of this problem is basically corruption when you have leaders that are after what they can get from the people they lead rather than what they can offer to make their societies better this is the kind of results that you will see , corruption is the biggest hindrance to the development of developing economies and in an atmosphere filled with corruption there will be no development that will have direct impact on the ordinary citizens of such country, these countries should as a matter of fact come up with measures that will tackle corruption with punishment that will be handed over to corrupt public office holders that is the only way that corruption will be done away with

I think showing their corruption to the world and sharing the reality about them might make them embarrassed, but yeah they don't care instead, they can shut the internet down, or the social media down like in my country although I don't blam or name anyone, as corruption is not only happening in the developing countries but it is also happening in the developed countries as well.

But in poor countries, the infrastructure is not that strong and the rules and regulations so maybe why bribery is normal I think if the people on higher authorities will be he honest one then the bribery can be controlled otherwise it won't. Besides this we all should complain about corruption, or bribery, etc. and not do it and even in the hard times when we don't have anyway but to do it I still say if it's not that urgent, then don't do it. I don't support it.

Eliminating corruption anywhere in any part of the country, I think it is difficult at most to reduce the level of corruption, considering that it takes hard work to eradicate it because among them they have interconnected networks, and there are weaknesses in the country's governance system, but slowly I am sure corruption can be anticipated well.
It has become part of the system and that's why eradicating it wholly is a challenge for those that want to go against it. The personalities that are behind the system aren't just there to be eliminated but they are benefactors and also pass it to the others who also benefit from the system. So, eliminating just one of them isn't going to be easy because it's like a chain that you have to break all of it until everything that's attached to it is destroyed. Like what you've said, it is interconnected and that's the hardest part why even if someone wants to eliminate it, you'd see others doesn't care about it because they have benefits from it.

Corruption cannot be eliminated from the political system because greed is human nature and part of being human. And as long as the government is still run by humans, even if we change to a new government with completely new politicians. There is also no guarantee that corruption will be completely eliminated because greed is something that always exists in each of us.
We criticize corrupt politicians and that is right because they are taking our money, but what is the guarantee that we would do the same if given the chance to sit in their shoes? Will we do better than them and not be corrupt? Or will we be like them?
As I've said, it has already become part of the system. And even with a new system, the ones that will create will find loopholes for them to continue their corruption. You know these people are intelligent and they always make something advantageous for themselves and not for the people. That's why those countries that have good governments and politicians that cannot take corruption are either resigning or taking their lives if ever they've found themselves become part of any corruption while being in the position.

Corruption definitely kills the free market, just look at India, truly a cesspool of corruption. They protect the most corrupt, as infallible to say the least. Deep down the house of cards will just collapse, the paper wealth of Indians. From direct bribes to incredibly complex securities fraud trading your own shares through fictitious facades. How can any international investor take India serious when from the bottom to the top, to the crème dele crème their all feeding cheese to rats.

It is very difficult to erase corruption in the economies of some underdeveloped countries, because the citizens have a major role but they feel unconcerned, and they still cast their votes for leaders they know that are dinning in corruption.

Corruption is a big killer of any country that wants to develop. When corruption remains, it becomes very hard for any country to progress and everything they have and do will eventually turn back to retrogression which is bad for any developing nation. In the past, colonist are been blamed for these countries not to progress but even after they are been given independence, they still destroy their own country because of their selfish greed and self entitlement they get from been in power. I know how bad the economy of a country and the livelihood of citizens are been shattered due to corrupt leaders they put into leadership positions. It is not easy to eliminate corruption totally, but if it’s tried, it can be reduced to some bare minimum that can be better than the former state. It’s a gradual process before it can be eliminated totally.

I agree with what you said that corruption has an effect on the economic development of a country, especially developing countries, in these countries often their officials stumble upon corruption cases and it causes the country to suffer significant losses. corruption is like cancer, where if it is not removed from the roots and killed the source then over time it will have a very bad impact on the country.

that's why before embarking on economic development, the leaders of a country must be truly committed to eradicating corrupt practices in their country. there is no other way. leaders must take hard steps so that officials can focus more on their work and not be tempted to commit corruption.

it is not easy, but the way countries like china punish corrupt officials with the death penalty can be taken to make a fear effect on corruptors. there is no need to talk about human rights or be labeled as a dictator, a leader must give harsh punishment so that corruptors can be eradicated. then they can develop their human resources so that they are more moral, ethical, and have nationalism and care for their country. then the number of corruption should be reduced and then economic development can be carried out properly.

Corruption is probably the main reason that poorer countries will struggle to succeed. We live in a world where individuals in the richest capitalist countries possess more money than nations, it takes very little to buy people and position yourself into power. It is how we see so many countries in Africa facing coups again and again, because bigger nations use them as toys to show how they can wield control. There are lots of resource in this continent, but few countries with a strong infrastructure of governance and institutions, which take decades to build trust in the people. However if they are undermined, they can collapse very quickly and people will lose faith so end up only looking out for their closest friends and family.

China eliminated corruption from their country because they made a law that punish any government officials found to be corrupt. Other countries have their own laws as punishment for people caught being corrupt hence every county needs a law like that and to have police that wouldn't become corrupt to enforce the law because they're not being pay well for their service. When the politicians are making money while the real servants of the country aren't being paid enough to barely live.

As this happen, they'll become corrupt to be able to feed hence we have to fight corruption from all the departments in government and those outside the government. Corruption can't be high in a country and still we get to see the country becoming better. Correction kills the minds of people in the country as everybody becomes greedy. The resources that would had been used for the country gear mismanaged.

The reason why the corruption has been our first problems that slow down our development is because a lot are over look and nobody is doing anything. If a politician stole money and he get invited and arrested, know for sure that he will get out without those money been returned because their are people that will get him out and those people are the gangs he ate the money with, we don't have much forceful law enforcement that will makes this politicians learn their lesson so others can learn from the punishments.

Whether we like it or not, corruption is the biggest threat to our development, if they can make everyone accountable for everything they stole, trust me the society will become clean because nobody will want to be a victim of those law enforcers.

Corruption does need to be the main focus when developing countries want their economy to improve because at least by being able to eradicate corruption slowly, the level of development and economy of a country will also progress even though not in an instant. Because several other factors will also not run smoothly and even if they can run, there will be no quality because there are more funds being corrupted by certain parties. So corruption should not be allowed to continue so that every country must have a special party that checks this every year, both when there is certain development and when there is budgeting to certain areas to handle adequate infrastructure.

Honestly corruption exists everywhere in the world and the only reason why some are impacted worse and some are less, is because in some nations there are rules and laws that dates centuries that allows corruption to not destroy the nation too much. It still exists everywhere, from west to east, the whole world has it, it's just that sometimes it benefits the nation if the politician is corrupt, but uses that to get it from another place, and help the nation.

All in all, I would say that we can't stop corruption, there is no scenario where people stop wanting to be corrupt, it just exists and can't be stopped. What we can see right now however is the fact that corruption could be done, and punished, which is more possible, and would allow corrupt people to not get too brave. So always figure out a way to punish people who are corrupt, if you can do that, you can at least protect people from bigger corruption, and put fear into these corrupt people.
