Schedule has been announced for the inaugural ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup. There will be 4 groups of four teams each.

Group A: Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, USA
Group B: England, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda
Group C: Ireland, Indonesia, New Zealand, West Indies
Group D: India, South Africa, UAE, Scotland.

Some of the good women's teams are missing, including Nepal, Thailand and Netherlands. Top 6 teams will qualify for the super-six phase and four teams from that phase will enter the semi-finals.

Consequently, it means that the women's World Cup will consist of more teams than the men's World Cup Cheesy, which is quite surprising to me since there are teams such as the USA on the list of teams that will be competing in the tournament.

Bringing cricket to the Western world is a great step in the right direction, and I am curious to see how the USA performs in this tournament in order to help expand cricket to this part of the world. Having said that, I do believe that Australia has a really good chance of winning this tournament since they seem to be looking quite good in my opinion, so let's hope that this will be a very competitive and nail-biting tournament.

The team order is placed well. From the four groups Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa will qualify. For the remaining two spots remaining countries will fight. India seems to have a fair chance. Nepal, Netherlands and Thailand might have got good team, but they might've lacked performance over the qualifiers for the U-19 T20.

Virat Kohli played well in the Asian games. I am not sure if he has got his form back but he did play well in almost all of the matches and this is a good sign for the Indians to get his form back before the start of the T20 world cup.
If Virat Kohli retains his form, I am sure, India will become a strong contender to lift the world cup T20, though other players need to perform too.
The Indian Cricket Board has given Virat Kohli many opportunities for this performance. They lost in the Asia Cup but they managed to get one player back. I think Virat Kohli will definitely have a place in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli regained his form after a lot of hard work. Although many are still skeptical about his form. ‍If we get one more series it will clarify about his performance.

The Indian team has shown good performance in the Asia Cup recently. Obviously, a lot better performance was expected from them but I would say that their performance was good anyway. As long as Virat Kohli is able to play well for India, then they will be a very big threat to any team trying to handle them. However, I also agree that all the players will have to perform to the best of their abilities. And I think India is a team in which almost all the players have the potential to turn a match on its head. The fact that Virat Kohli is in form is going to make things only that much more difficult for the opponents to come up with a winning strategy.

There is no doubt that the BCCI should be very interested in the possibility of having Indian personnel in the ICC. I believe that having an Indian person as the chairman of the ICC is going to be a great opportunity for India as well. As a result, the controversy surrounding India's neutrality in all of the decisions that are being made increases. In the event that everything goes according to the way you are saying it is going to be, we are going to have a bit of a controversy ahead of the ICC in the years to come. Despite this, I don't have any problems with Ganguly, since at least he has a good understanding of the  cricket. In addition, I also cannot say that he will be neutral in any decisions that he makes as well.
My first preference will be for Shashank Manohar. When he was the ICC chairman, he made a lot of positive changes to the revenue distribution model and voting criteria. I am more or less neutral on Anurag Thakur, while negative about both Srinivasan and Pawar. I understand that the performance of Ganguly was below par as the President of the BCCI. But I am willing to put my trust on him, because I believe that out of all the Indian ex-cricketers out there, he is the one with the best administrative and management skills.
BCCI is unlikely to put forward Shashank Manohar's name. Toward the end of his last tenure, there was some tension between him and BCCI officials due to the revamping of revenue setup and now there is a narrative building that it wasn't good outcome - Hinting towards new ICC subcontinent media rights deal- This will blow back when the complete numbers are published by ICC. There is a good chance of BIG-1 setup instead of BIG-3 in the near future.

Anurag Thakur could be a good choice but I believe he's out as he's already busy with his new gig of being a sports minister.

@Sithara007 My opinion is the same as yours as well. However, I highly recommend Ganguly to be elected as the president of the BCCI. He is a big-brain player, and I believe that he also has the ability to manage a team efficiently. In my opinion, he will place a greater emphasis on how to play better rather than how to get more money in the long run.

@JSRAW If there is actually a big-1 set up it is not going to be good. There is no way that democracy is going to be there. Already, there are a lot of decisions that seem to go against the democratic process. There should at least be an equal amount of power for all the teams.
I am really confused about who will be in power in the future. Srinivasan and Pawar both are out for me, it doesn't matter what happens in the future.

We must admit that Virat Kohli is a world class player. However, his form was not going well for a few matches. But suddenly we see his brilliant innings which is no surprise. In fact, this is how good players return to their form. Although they did not make it to the final, his performance will play a role in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Right now, talking about Kohli form and his future is not right as he plays against teams like Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka which are not good enough in bowling if you want to talk about his future and performance then surely have to wait until T-20 World Cup where you can give better view about his performance when he will play against top quality bowlers on tricky conditions because here in Dubai things are not favourable for game which needs better environment which is available in SENA countries instead of here in subcontinent or UAE.

Some credit surely going into his favour as he back in bang which is good for Indian fans and cricket because we were looking for him in this way after three years he converts first his century which is also good.

Virat Kohli has played well against two teams in the Asia Cup so far. If I recall correctly, he has played well against both teams. The two teams in question are Pakistan and Afghanistan. In addition to that, I think he also played well against Hong Kong, but I really do not want to consider that a good performance on his part. I believe that is a reasonable expectation from a player like Virat Kohli against a nation with which he is associated. Out of the matches that I have seen, I have only seen Him play well in two of the matches that I have seen. In spite of that, it did feel as if he was improving. As a result, I believe that he should be played more often in the future.

Yes, I think money is the thing through which people connect and money is the only thing that destroys human relationships.  I think a lot of money is needed to live well in life.  what you said  I think everyone remembers this person at least once every year.  I don't know what will happen in the future, but I don't think people will forget about this person so easily.

Thats very true for a limit, as money brings survives and these survives allows you to live a good stand of life but as you said alot of money required to live thats on a certain point is wrong is my personal analysis and experience is that alot of money destroys the natural personality and create a new arrogant and artificial personality which leads for the separation of the true relationships. As in Asian Culture especially India - Pakistan - Bangladesh family relation worth more then anything.

Nowadays most of the people give more importance to money. And because of the power of this money, many are occupying worthy places without being qualified. Naturally, this is a malpractice that will become more dangerous in the future. Those who are cricket players should take that responsibility but no one wants to take that responsibility from abominable people.
Money is important but sometime many star fades away and are forgotten by the world.
This includes - star, players or any other famous personality - yesterday one of the umpire "Asad Raauf" passed away - he left his career because of his son.
It was sad to see how he spent last days of his life.

This money thing is a very serious thing. Because of money today the world can make you known to everyone and without this money you will have none .You can forget any person in a moment We remember the umpire who died yesterday with respect. The world has forgotten him, but we have not. We are deeply saddened by his death He will live on in every man who will remember him.

IDK why Srinivasan's name is popping in this thread.

I think he's not eligible due to the Lodha committee reports and even if he forwards his name to BCCI (which is very unlikely), they can't forward his name (again, same reason Lodha committee). Also, he was removed from his last post for a reason and that's more than enough to keep him out for a lifetime.
Check this:

Rumors are that Justice D.Y. Chandrachud has formalized a deal between the Ganguly-Shah camp and the Srinivasan-Pawar camp. As per the deal, the first cabal will get control of the BCCI and the latter will get control of the ICC. Chandrachud has allowed Ganguly and Shah to remain as BCCI officials for the next 3 years. In return he want them to support Srinivasan's nomination as the ICC chairman. There are three other people from India who are qualified for the post - Sharad Pawar, Anurag Thakur and Shashank Manohar. Pawar is not in good health, Thakur is a minister right now and Manohar is opposed by the BCCI. And that leaves the sole choice of Srinivasan (if BCCI is interested to have an Indian as the ICC chairman).

There are only 4 eligible candidates from India, and there is a very good chance that BCCI may not nominate anyone this time (they did the same last time as well and supported Barclay for the post of chairman). BTW, Barclay has expressed some interest in getting himself re-nominated. If so, he will remain as the chairman until 2024. I don't really prefer Barclay, since he is from the businessmen cartel. I really want some of the ex-players. I don't have much expectation and don't think that they will turn things upside down. But having someone like Sangakkara as the chairman sounds exciting for me.
Surely a good and exciting change into game if we have ex player as ICC chairman and specially stated with gentleman like Kumara Sangakara is dream start as he is one of the best in his field with good knowledge and commitment about the game of cricket, but sadly it's not possible because right now system here in ICC is not working as we have in UEFA where few ex players are now joining this organization and its doing good.

Right now in ICC game is just between few big players, and mostly they are having their own friendships and like & dislikes which are working so having businessman is not stoppable for anyone, but soon we will have good changes as right now Ganguly is having BCCI post which is good thing and Ramiz Raja is on PCB hopefully if here changes will happen more like these than ICC could be also in good for these changes.

Okay, so as of now it's based on assumption only (as far as Srinivasan is concerned), right? I guess the representative will check the pros and cons of every candidate before nominating some names. So IMO it's way too early to panic.

Also, let's wait for full judgment, there is still some time left. I think a new observation during the hearing came in favor of BCCI because of the flawed Lodha committee report (Cooling off period and nomination etc) and not some deal between 2 camps.

No specific name in my mind or favoritism etc just fill any post by using elections. Sachin is a terrible administrator so I don't think anyone would ever think about him, even if he was interested. Same goes for the other mafia type (politically) names you mentioned.
There might be some exceptions when we are going with an ex-player (Sanga) but there is no guarantee that an ex-player would make a worthy candidate.

I really don't want Srinivasan. Anyone else is far better. Ganguly is out of contention, since he can remain as the head of BCCI until 2025 (as per the latest court hearing). The next chairman will be in power from 1st December 2022, to 30th November 2024. So the elections need to be held before that date. There are a total of 16 votes, and 9 is needed for an outright win. Name of Sharad Pawar is being raised by some, but chances are low that he will get BCCI approval this time. Another name that is doing the rounds is that of Brijesh Patel.

I really want someone who is actually good and has some idea about cricket. Someone who is actually interested in making cricket a better game. If someone who just wants money is appointed I really don't think it is going to be good for cricket in the long run. Some ex-cricketers would have been better in my opinion. But I really don't see any EX cricketers interested in this matter. So, I think that they will have to work with what options they have. I really don't like Srinivasan either. Anyone else would be better.
