If no one is reachable at the Crypto Gambling Foundation, how can they verify operators?

Is verifying "provably fair" a one time process?

I ask the administration of the Crypto Gambling Foundation to prove how this is fair?

I made 181 thousand bets at Stake's in-house Black Jack and lost 4,5% of the bets while Stake advertises a 0,5% house edge!

I sent an email to [email protected] and was informed that the email account I tried to reach does not exist.

How can I reach the Crypto Gambling Foundation administration, preferably Chris Butler?

Why is Stake still member of Cryptogambling foundation while hosting not provably fair and sketchy slot games?
Why don't you say anything about Onehash for example? They are also hosting third party games AFAIK. If fairness is something you care about, you should ask for all the gambling sites currently listed on CGF, and not for Stake only IMO.

I can't speak for all members of the CGF but I will say this.

Provably fair gaming is important and maintains a major part of our website. However, we cannot ignore the fact that people want to play games like livedealer and it is simply impossible to compete at a higher level without partnering with the providers that people want. Provably fair has not been embraced by the greater industry because it is not in line with the current game testing required by regulators and providers are not seeing great value in it.

The CGF has been met with great resistance when trying to fight these matters. But I would like to see a reboot of the CGF with all the big crypto gambling players involved to lobby in unison for positive change regarding the legal acceptance of crypto in regulated markets along with a push for provably fair.

All the CGF represents is a group of likeminded people, I cannot say it has been a great success but we will be organizing soon to discuss the future. If other members have issues with Stake/Onehash third party software then I invite them to voice their opinion to have those sites removed.

Thanks for sharing details with us. Very useful information. I have never issued any probs with stake btw.

I will say something about OneHash. I'd like clarification from the CGF on the specifics of what their certification means and how it applies to casinos hosting non-pf third party games, to include Stake and OneHash. A concrete set of requirements to be a member would be great.

I'd also like to better understand the circumstances around BitDice leaving the foundation. Posts in this thread seem to imply that it was due to them hosting non-pf third party games. Is that true? If so, was that their decision or that of the foundation?

I see a lot of people in this thread that are raising issues with gambling operators or people who used to operate gambling sites, being affiliated with this foundations. I personally think you need these people to form part of this foundation, because they know the key details or most practical aspects of these operations and they know how these people are cheating the system.  Wink

I see some other sites claiming to use expert lawyers to fight these sites, but a lawyer does not know the tricks of the trade and how to determine if a system is provably fair or not. A lot of these gambling operators know some coding too, so they can evaluate gambling scripts and see where the cheating are done in the code.  Wink  < If it is Open source >

I have always said that the policing should come from the people within the community and not from some third party organization from outside. The government organizations and employees are usually targeted for bribes, so we cannot trust them.   Angry

WOLF.BET - Provably Fair Crypto Casino
Good to see the recent developments in discussing one of the members here up there, and I think everyone can appreciate when owners and representatives are also upfront about what is going on. This is good for the entire industry.

I did see that there is 1 name in that list that has relaunched several times since I have been around though. Never been a personal victim but I have seen all the complaints and some of them look,,, quite bad. I think outstanding accusations about members should also be left,,,

Good job on everything guys, whoever you are.

Yes, some progress is visible. It seems that business owners don't care only about profit but that transparency and fair game as well as legitimacy also matter. That is the progress for whole gaming industry and I'm glad that awarness is rising.
Personaly I wasn't a scam victim but it's terrible when you find yourself in such situation unprotected.

Well if the games are not Provably Fair then how can be described as Absolutely Fair Games ?

It states "Absolutely Fair Games" on the Bitdice website but what is the definition?

What is the house edge for each game?  Are you able to verify it?

Can it be changed?

Would the provider be able to change the game without you knowing?

Do you have access to the source code?

You probably know the answer to most of these questions. As I said, we don't claim that all of our games are provably fair. With third-party games it boils down to whether the user trusts the provider or not. We cannot guarantee most of what you are asking although we try to make sure we don't have games from providers known to run a shady business. As I said, we provide an option and it's up to the user what they choose. There are players who would rather play third-party games simply because of the wide selection.

Now, I didn't give exact answers to your questions because I don't handle the technical side of the site so I am only able to give answers to what I know.

The questions you are asking could be directed to a bunch of sites. As I have said, we're going to remove the seal from the site but again, that cannot be done by me so I've got to wait until it's handled by someone else. I would understand all of these questions if I were claiming all of our games are provably fair  but I'm not claiming that so I don't understand the reason behind such a sudden burst of questions.

I know Boxxo is a good guy that's been around forever.  And I'm not saying Bitdice is a scam or anything.  But going from one of the more transparent, respected, provably fair sites to hosting someone else's non-provably-fair, mystery-server games run by a company that answers to nobody is...ughh.  Sad.

While I understand your point, there's nothing secret about it and it certainly isn't a new thing. It's a question of being able to provide a wide selection of games while still offering provably fair options. We don't believe giving an option harms anyone.
