I think you haven't looked hard enough, because there are several universities like Berkeley California that are teaching Cryptocurrencies in various courses, in fact, some time ago I saw a news that observes that the enrollment of those courses has increased 100% for some universities that means that more than 600 students are taking courses related to cryptocurrencies.
I can definitely see cryptocurrencies being taught at schools at some point, the thing is that it should be focused mostly on the blockchain part rather than the trading part that is so popular at the moment.
I don,t think its a good idea. Most of the things we learn practically. In schools we can learn about blockchain technology but not about crypto. But now time is changing very fast and may be it taught in schools in future.
Truly the time will come in future in light of the fact that the advanced cash is blasting. Many individuals as of now utilize this money. Ideally in future it will the primary exchange framework. So the fundamental taking in should begin from school.
cryptocurrencies are not the one that to be taught in schools. but the blockchain technology is. there are already some programs about teaching about blockchain. and after people adapt it more, i also think that they will teach out children about blockchain.
Its high time we reevaluate our educational curriculum to incorporate cryptocurrencies especially in high schools where the elementary and introductory aspects should be inculcated to the young pupils however employing the skilled teachers of Cryptos related subjects could be a hindrance towards achieving the task.
in my country it doesn't really happen and even the possibility is not.
but maybe in some developed countries it has been involved like Japan for example. maybe in learning about technology not for its crypto curriculum.

Sounds good but I think it will only work as an elective, pretty sure that students won't be interested in it no matter how good it is, no matter how much proof and evidence you show them that cryptocurrency is beyond promising, they won't care at all, sure there might be some exception who will try it out but it not worth the effort. Only offer this class to people who are interested in it.
In schools, you need to learn not cryptocurrency, but cryptography in General, at least the basics. This will provide a common understanding of the emerging technology and accelerate its application in the real sector of the economy.
Your suggestion is very good, but if the school adds a course on coins to the teaching, then this may allow more people to join the investment coin, and many countries do not want to see this situation!
I believe that schooling is still too early to think about it. I believe that training will begin when the crypto currency will become a world coin and it will be used as now, for example, the dollar. Then we can talk about teaching crypto at school.

I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!
Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?

You are very right in these thoughts. Crypto currencies should definitely be taught in schools. In this way the people make more informed and intelligent decisions.
for now I don't think it's necessary to teach crypto at school, because crypto is still not widely known in the world, maybe in the future after crypto is used actively by people around the world, the school will definitely teach crypto.
that's a good thing, we know that the more people who know cryptocurrency, then it will be good for cryptocurrency development. if young people are introduced to the world of cryptocurrency, I think that will give them an advantage. they can get money from it. but they also have to be prepared to accept the risks that exist.
if cryptocurrency will be taught at school I think there needs to be permission from the government whether it is permissible or not because cryptocurrency is illegal. but if permitted it is a good thing for schoolchildren to be more independent and not rely on their parents. and it also needs to regulate and divide time.

As far as I know, universities in several countries around the world have opened blockchain courses. Since it is a blockchain, I think BTC will definitely be mentioned in this process. it is necessary. This is very useful for promoting bitcoin and science. I do not doubt that both blockchain and cryptocurrencies connected to it will be taught in school in the near future. It will take a few years and perhaps a bit of regulation to get it going. Webdesign or internet marketing for that matter was not taught at schools in the early days, but now it takes up most of all digital/marketing studies....I think it will be the same with blockchain/crypto...at some point it will be quite important in technical studies and financial studies.
Yes the time will come in future because the digital currency is booming. A lot of people already use this currency. Hopefully in future it will the main transaction system. So the basic learning should start from school.
this is too heavy, there is no regulation from the government regarding crypto legality as a means of payment.
