I think that most interesting alternative coins will survive. It seems to me that such projects can be of great benefit to society. But many coins will die, because they are weak.
I am absolutely sure, that no one can stop cryptocurrencies anymore. There is a very strong community, and also interests behind.
I totally agree with the strong community part, it is one that keeps growing day by day and I don't think a few drops are enough to destroy years of advance.

The reason Cryptocurrency will keep thriving and developing is because of decentralisation. The more people hold a piece of any coin, the more difficult it is for a central authority or group of people to shut it down. Cryptocurrency is the best thing that happened to finance!

Indeed, there have been some market accidents in making the price of crypto currency fell, but that is not the reason cryptocurrency will disappear, crypto currencies are strong projects and will be able to survive in the long run.
I like your interpretation, many people are mistaken cryptocurrency will die I believe 100% of these people really do not understand cryptocurrency. It is panic and sell-off that causes the market to fall, you should remember that you are enriching the wise investors.

Offcourse cryptocurrency will survive because there is no alternate of cryptocurrency the main edge is this this currency is boundary less and easy to transfer from every where to any other place and country so according to my opinion it will survive definately.
