That's correct. We had 0.1% (or even less...don't remember Cheesy

The first 5 jackpots were 0.1% rewards, the change came about a month after the jackpot was introduced (that's all the way back in July 2015) since then it's 1%.
The jackpot tab actually still lists all hits, so you can look it up there (although some of the bets are archived, so the details of the bet itself aren't available anymore, just the info about the jackpot hit).

Some more interesting jackpot stats:
The initial BTC jackpot balance was 0.3BTC. The amount was increased to 0.5BTC in celebration of the site anniversary in August 2015.
The highest percentage jackpot hit so far was WildTiger with a 80% hit (2.58BTC reward).

Great challenge! At first I tried to hit a 50x payout on Plinko playing with blue ball. Never hit it but

That's right, but I checked past winners since the round 63, and I can see that normally it's players with more than 10% of tickets, who win the prizes, and the latest round is not an exception:

It's the same as with mining. Yes, it's completely random, and someone can mine a block while solo mining with just one miner, but in most cases pools with a lot of miners successfully mine blocks.
