Scammers still doing shit and wasting time.

I am %100 sure that I have given 2 requested info which is my registration date and latest withdrawal tx.
Now I am feeling 100% they are not going to give us any penny just trying to give some lolly pope and liquideters are going to have some more good amound in fees nothing else good happening for peoples scammed by cryptophia its all just wast of time nothing else.

BYE BYE to all for this shit.

If they wanted to scam (they have already scammed by the way), why would they ask for this information from old clients and give them a false hope that they are serious in returning the amount.
I understand they won't return our money, but why they are playing this drama when most of us have no good hopes from them.

I also got the email, I haven't done anything with it yet. Thanks to those who posted the questions being asked, that way I'll be able to prepare, I think I can answer two of these with certainty.

I have heard some saying a bank account was asked for, is that true ? I mean cryptopia wasn't a fiat exchange/gateway so why ask for that ?
We have another thread related to cryptophia victims and someone post this as he receive from them.

Just FYI, I have contacted Grant Thornton directly and am awaiting confirmation that this email and the "Claims Portal" are indeed legit or if it is another 3rd party "scam" like that cryptopia rescue outfit... I'll update if/when I get a response.

I also receive the same mail I think it's not connected to them and I didn't bother to open the link since I'm afraid it have a malware or any phising attempt content. But if those mails really came from them I wonder on why they didn't update their community here.

I think the best thing to do is to wait for the update for full clarification since to for sure many cryptopia users still want their balances back.

I also contacted them, several hours ago. No response.

They said in the last update: "...note that any communications relating to the Liquidation will come from the official channels such as the Grant Thornton website, or the Grant Thornton and Cryptopia Facebook and Twitter accounts." I don't see an update at those official channels.

This appears legitimate, it goes to the valid domain... but, very unprofessional all around.

It won't let me get beyond the captcha.

Which captcha from all? The one for the sign-up? If this is the one that you are referring to, you need to put a password of min 14 characters.
I didn't get any spamming notification and I want to make a step further to see what is this. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics from the process but as a signup process isn't something "hard" or strange. The only thing is that you have to agree to a T&C page, stating that your credentials will be used for verifying you with your Cryptopia account and for any other purpose that law enforcement, lawyers, or Grant Thornton see necessary.
Now the hard/ crap part. After you log in, you will need to choose 2 from the total of 7 "Account Activity Questions", in order to verify yourself with your Cryptopia ex-account (pics below). This method can be more than hard since the details after ~4 years fading, at least from my brain/ mind/ memory. So even if I try to remember some things I still can't pass this automated process of verification. If I make it through, I will post along with pic(s). If by any chance someone else signup and manage to do and pass this process, please inform here.

P.S: I can't make them smaller (for some unknown reason) but if someone can, please do it and re-post them for all to see.

There was nothing letting me enter a password.  It just asked for email, account name, and street address.  The captcha there errored out on me.

SERIOUSLY!!! Fuck me guys how can anyone even with even normal IQ agree to the very first box you got to tick. Its basically saying they can do what the fuck they want with your details.
Are you fucking dumb as shit agreeing to THIS!

THIS:

I acknowledge that, for the purposes of operating the Portal, Cryptopia Limited (in liquidation) may disclose my personal information to foreign persons or entities that may not be required to protect the information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those under the New Zealand Privacy Act (as described further in section 4 of the privacy policy). I authorise Cryptopia Limited (in liquidation) to make these disclosures.

Yea I'll calm the fuck down if you can persuade me this is ok.

The mail was tagged as SPAM by my spamassassin.

Sending such a mail via sendgrid with redirected links seems not overly professional to me.
Will certainly give this a 2nd and 3rd thought and more consideration before I click any links there.

Today I also received an email from Cryptopia. So far, I am waiting for official information from the liquidator. I do not want to be deceived.
I am also not sending any information because its not safe until they officially announce any thing related to this and few are talking they are asking some more information which are not available so in this case what to do because now its very long time and keeping all things in mind is not possible for a human.
