I do not wish to drag you people backward but i read a lot of articles about users not able to withdraw their funds due to the hack and i think it should not work that way, cryptopia makes money off traders when they trade and withdraw funds, their problems should not be shifted  to the users who does not enjoy any free trading and withdrawal fees.

Most likely topia refund btc and alts by the price of CMC or last trades. Sometime in july.
That is prediction ?

I think that is unlikely. They have indicated publicly that it will take some time to sort out.

It is likely that they will seek specialist advise & court approval as to how to handle the liquidation.

“Given the complexities involved we expect the investigation to take months rather than weeks.

The liquidators are also working with independent experts and the relevant authorities with regards to the company’s obligations.

Those liquidators and " Experts " will take their sweet time getting paid by the hour .. so when the money is pretty much all gone expect results not before ..

They robbed us ..  People depositing after btc ltc dodge reopen should probably teamup for a lawsuit .. they took in money right up until the moment they closed it down ..

This whole thing stinks to high heaven they knew the second they would open Alts for withdraw pretty much everything would leave the exchange that very second .. so they just strung us along for 4 months.

There has to be some way to force cryptopia to open the exchange and allow withdrawals for all coins or this will continue indefinitely. They won't open because the new zealand police won't do their jobs and force them to open.

Cryptopia feels no threat of criminal or civil charges so they behave in this reckless and disdainful manner.

The new zealand police have to be the most useless worthless piles of steaming garbage on the planet. They have done absolutely nothing to investigate what happened and to gather enough evidence to lay criminal charges against cryptopia and their two owners Clarke and Dawson.

This absolutely cannot continue and if cryptopia thinks they can stall and take their time and taunt us with little kids messages on their home page they got another thing coming.

My next step is contacting the fbi . When the fbi sends a team down to  new zealand then those fuckers clarke and dawson will be in for a rude awakening because the fbi are serious individuals. They aren't like these useless fake cops they have in new zealand.

They quit their jobs about a year ago and put all their savings into Cryptopia as a full time enterprise, although they were unsure at the time how much future it had.

Anyone here have any idea what will happen to the Cryptopia loss marker (CLM) given to their customers that had to take a haircut? Will it be null and voided?

Hey guys, just a reflexion here.

In the case of Mt Gox the only asset the exchange had was BTC and $
So they sold the BTC to return to people that lost their money based on $.

In the case of Cryptopia, only people that had coins that were "stolen" are at lost.
The other clients shouldn't be impacted.

Why the liquidator would sell my "not'hacked" balance of coins to pay me back a lesser amount for something that didn't happen to me?

Example with "storage units",
I have a storage unit, I Store a valuable car inside.
The company that manages the units goes under (let's say storage king USA).
The liquidator is not going to open my storage unit to sell my car to pay the debts of the company.
However, the liquidator will sell the assets owned by the company to repay creditors.

What do you think ?

I'm in Christchurch and my wife is a lawyer I will be digging this a little bit more over the weekend.
Thanks

Where are you going to sell coins that were only traded on cryptopia?   Even Noblecoin falls into that category, they were once traded on Bittrex.  When the bigger money came in such little coins with real utility and teams were overlooked.

What is this:

"We realise Cryptopia’s customers will want to have this matter resolved as soon as possible. We will conduct a thorough investigation, working with several different stakeholders including management and shareholders, to find the solution that is in the best interests of customers and stakeholders,” says David Ruscoe."

I don't care at all for their stakeholders including management and shareholders!!!

I care about my coins and tokens, and that "stakeholders" including managemant and shareholders are so likely responsible for them!!!

Liquidator can liquidate Cryptopia exchange, not our coins and tokens!!!

Our coins and tokens are not Cryptopia's assets!!!

We are not shareholders of Cryptopia so we are not responsible for any Cryptopia's work!!!

No, assetylene.com its new fraud exchanges from Cryptopia. Be careful.
its about altilly.com

We should also need to keep watch on this company - https://www.chainfinancial.io/  based on discord discussion mods are saying these guys are the responsible for what happens in the cryptopia. This company will launch an exchange platform soon.
