I don't even see Pakistan qualifying with currently 7 points as 2 matches are left and they can max get 11 points and there are already 2 teams with 11 points each who can get even more points in upcoming matches. If Eng lose against Ind and NZ, they will be out so Ban and Pak can fill that spot but I don't feel Eng may lose against NZ. SL qualifying will be a miracle and I don't see it happening after yesterday's loss.

Life is so unpredictable and anything can happen at any time so SL has chances means they still has the chances.But the probability is low compared to other team.SL needs to find the good players if they want to be a champion side again hope the sport politics will not interfere them.
They do have a chance, but the chance is so small that they basically need a miracle at this point. Pakistan and Bangladesh are much better teams in comparison and England is a lot better overall.If England manages to win the match against India this Sunday(I doubt it), their chances of getting through to the semi-finals will increase drastically.

SA washed the hopes of SL by beating them comfortably or say that making a one side match and beating them by 9 wickets . SA played like the champions today but was to late for the WC and just playing now for the pride .
Sri Lanka still not out of the tournament. If they win rest of their match and England lose their both match and Pakistan and Bangladesh lose 1 match each than Sri Lanka can reach World Cup semi final though chances are very slim.
Isn't that too much of the conditions needs to be met before srilanka can march towards the semi final ?
I think its the end of their journey as others teams are much better than SriLanka. They need to introduce new players to their team. The champions of 1996 WC need to restructure themselves if they want to dominate in the cricket world.

That would indeed be an insane upset which I never thought would actually happen. Seeing Bangladesh, Sri Lanka(Not anymore) and Pakistan bounce back in such a strong fashion makes me feel that England are in deep trouble now.Wouldn't it be a biggest upset of this worldcup, if it happens.
If England loses 1 more match and Bangladesh or Pakistan win 1 more, NRR will probably come into play. In my opinion, England will still qualify though Bangladesh and Pakistan will give stiff competition till the end.

I think they are also pretty much in the race. Well last few matches have been an upset for England but I still hold their batting line-up strong so I think it is too soon to watch them out of the CWC'19. They are currently placed at 4th position so they are in qualification spot till this point.
Watching the second innings, I wonder why SA wasn't able to perform like today in earlier matches in the stage.
England has two match left and that too with the top 2 best team (India and Australia). They have to play really well to beat them.
South Africa performed today well maybe due to fact that they are out of the world cup and they had no pressure. How often we see some good play when teams play without pressure.

SA are winning this match so comfortably. SL's performance was quite bad today since the first ball. I thought they would barely score 150-160 but they atleast reached the 200 mark.

If England lose all the match, Bangladesh & Pakistan can't win more than one match, and Srilanka win all the rest matches, SL will be fourth team to qualify which I think isn't possible in any ways 
However, nothing is impossible. I'm looking forward to Bangladesh to win against India and Pakistan and qualify for the semi for the first time.

The South African bowlers limited Sri Lanka only 203! Disappointed that Sri Lankan batsman failed again. South Africa need 123 additional runs to win, looking a very comfortable win until now. Need some magical bowling figure from Malinga get back into the game.
There are no back in the game. Sri Lanka lost it. Defeating England was just an upset, one have to admit it. Bangladesh and Pakistan are better team then Sri Lanka and seems like this broken South Africa too.Anyway, seems like I will have to be happy with only one point :-P
