It keeps telling me,  "The miner may not boot" and nothing happens, not matter what settings I input in dashboard.  I get no hashing, and nothing seems to be happening.  Anyone have any thoughts?  User error? lol

Or, in the alternative... could someone send me a copy of their working bootdrive for the Zig Z1?

This is a pain in the ass.

This is very much appreciated.  I may even end up mining for you for a while as I figure it out!

Any EXT4 formatted drive should work for the miner correct?

Please donate to charity!!

You can use the imaging software included, it will format the disk as required.

Exceptionally twitchy, unreliable, and all around terrible miner with zero support and unknown warranty. Not even close to worth buying.

This.  I have one, and I can't even get it to work right.

Anyone happen to have a miner.json file they could export and know to be working that you could send me so I can see what is going on?

Any help is appreciated!

Hello,

I was considering buying a Zig Z1 from asicminermarket and i noticed in a thread that you had bought one from there. Would you recommend this site for ordering ASICs ? How was your experience with them? Prompt delivery?

Thanks for your help

I ordered an ASIC from them. They delayed the shipping A LOT cause of some "payment problems". Also they reipled ONE time per day to my emails. So the explanation of these "problems" and the fix took a lot of days. It have been a bad experience honestly. Would not order again from them. They are NOT SCAM in the way you pay and they steal your money. But they uses to delay a lot fhe shipment of the pacakge

I have some dayun zig z1's coming soon and I'm gong to pair it with Bitmain APW3++ PSUs. My first time using ASICs but the label on the PSU looks like this:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IRWfMKgP_t-aeW4Mk_T4jNyGnMnQFCMf?usp=sharing

I live in the USA so I have 120VAC outlets. Bitmain's site says it can switch to 120VAC and I also see products with the label stating 120VAC but this one doesn't. Should I stay away from this? Also, the miners work on 120VAC outlets right?

This requires a psu, so AC side voltage on the psu does not matter to it. Only the DC output matters. So normally any psu being able deliver 1200W should be fine, with 120V or 240V input.

But the APW3++ delivers only 1200W when running on 120V, so you are running on limits. I am not sure it’s wise. Maybe others have experience. I got 240V outlets done for miners.

I got a bunch of ATX psus so it should be fine. What is the maximum wattage from one six pin pcie? Some sources say 150w but I always thought it was 75w because that's the case when connecting consumer GPUs with consumer ATX psus. Only 8 pins can achieve 150w right?

Also, does anyone know if you can solo mine Monacoin with these miners? I know you can't do Vertcoin solo because they got rid of the getwork protocol within the wallet. I used to solo mine other coins so I already know how to set the ip address & port number on your configuration file before wallet startup.

I have ordered a few times from them, shipped within a day or two of payment. Though someone else mentioned that their customer service is lacking.

asicminermarket is famous for delays and average customer service. At least for me and the little crypto community around me they always delivered late. Sometimes it looks like they got great prices just cause they deliver stock as batches...with a thousend different excuses.

There are better ones like cryptodrilling and prominerz.com, I always check asicminervalue.com to get an overview....

I got my Z1 couple of days ago, but still trying to dig out what is the SSH combination of it, anyone knows? P.S. not the 'admin admin' one used on the website.

it's 'root' 'envision'

I'd love to add support for this miner to a project that I'm working on.

Is there any way that I could convince somebody to provide me a response from this command?  Smiley  One step closer to getting remote monitoring support for these devices.

Code:
echo '{"command":"stats"}' | nc MINER_IP_HERE 4028

Make sure that your wallet address isn't included in the response JSON (it shoudn't be, though).

Zig Z1 is running for few hours than goes offline... Only solution is rewrite firmware. Does your miner run ok?

Did you change the refresh interval in settings? And did you leave a browser window open connected to the miner dashboard?

No and No :/

Hi to all of you guys in this my first message on the forum and sorry for my bad English,

Well, I'm thinking about to buy the Zig Z1 but I'm very afraid of scams and I don't know this miner manofacturer and don't know anyone ho has one. Please, could you give me some information? anyone has bought one? in what store? Any problems with the miner, good or bad quality?

Thanks!!!

We have multiple on our pool, so they do exist atleast. Here are one of the stores they are available at: https://asicminermarket.com/product/28nm-lyra2rev2-asic-miner-dayun-zig-z1-ship-now/
I have always received my products with asicminermarket, but they're customer support is rather terrible or almost none existing, so if you find other trust-able stores you should choose them.

If i remember correctly, APW3++ is capable of delivering ~1200w on 110VAC, so you are cutting it really close since the Dayun Zig Z1 requires about 1200 watts. If APW3 output voltage drops a bit your miner may get unstable so i recommend that you monitor it carefully the first hours.. Oh, and when you get your miners, come joins us at powermining.pw  Grin
