Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?

There's nothing we can do with these dead coins and it will cost you a lot of fees if you transfer them to a new wallet for dead coins, it's an eyesore seeing these dead and shitcoins, some of them remind you of coins that scammed you and wasted your effort, I have over 50 shit and dead coins I stopped using my old address and create a new one for my bounty campaigns.

I think everyone has a bad experience in shitcoins stuck on our wallets. We can't do anything with them but just to let it stay where is it now. I consider them as a sort of crypto collection. They are dead already, they don't have any market value, then we have to throw them away if possible.

One common reason why a lot of coins becoming dead is that it was already abandoned by the developers and that probably because it has no use-case in the market.

From when i started in 2017 their are alot of dead coins which i get in drops and some in purchased these is the situation where we can't do anything and now i finding all my purchase and all dead coin in my wallet in a really low price or even some negligible
I think what is not change from the start is amount of receiving dead coin and nowdays these number is growing to much So making right decision at right time always help and keeping coin for long term is not always beneficial that's the lesson i had learnt

in my wallet there are a lot of dead coins and some of them are very low priced coins and all of them are the result of following several bounty projects since 2017, to deal with coins that are dead or very low in price you just have to forget and move on keep up with other recent bounty projects

Just like anyone who had joined some bounty token campaign here in bitcointalk, I myself have these tokens, not just one. As much as I wanted to clean my Etherwallet, I couldn't do it since the transaction fee is just too much in ETH. I'd rather forget about it.

Scam projects are very common since 2016 so if you have been here long enough in crypto, you most certainly have participated also to airdrops that did nothing but asked your email.

dead coin is the same as shit coin (it doesn't give us profit), so why do you still want to manage dead coin that you have, because it won't be useful and of course it will never give you income, therefore instead of wasting your time and you only think about dead coin that you have (there is no hope anymore), then you better research a new coin that have the potential to bring you a big profit in the future.

I have been in the cryptocurrency sphere already very long time and have invested in many cryptocurrency projects, I also constantly participate in bounty companies, airdrops and various testnets, and over the years I have accumulated a lot of dead cryptocurrencies in my cryptocurrency wallets, they certainly do not bother me, but if they strongly interfere someone, then you can simply send all dead cryptocurrencies to another cryptocurrency wallet, but I still hope that one day at least one dead cryptocurrenccy from my wallet will rise again and will bring me a profit, and therefore I will continue to keep dead cryptocurrencies in my main cryptocurrency wallets.

Well in my wallet there are still some dead tokens that have been left behind because of a scam and the tokens have become decorations on my wallet because I also don't know what to do with such tokens because there is no further development and I think it's better to just leave it and assume it as a decoration on the wallet.

My eth wallet has a lot of old dead coins as well. You can't do anything about it but just let it sit. If you don't want to see those dead coins. Just create a new one and make sure to add only valuable tokens. A lot has been dead and gone but there are still developers who continue to create these crap tokens, because they are still getting money from gullible buyers.

If I die a coin, I won't hold it anymore because it just wastes our time, it's useless if we hold it but it doesn't make us lucky, we better focus on the masses of new coins or altcoins that will come but have the potential to skyrocket the selling value later and we can Be proud for future investments, anyway, if you're sure the Coin is worthless or even in the market there is no price list or it's not in the category on the marketcap, why do we focus there, it's better if we find a better way for us going forward his

there is no clear goal for dead coins because most dead coins will disappear and the flow is unclear because they have been abandoned by their owners so it doesn't mean that many who don't believe in dead coins do not have a clear future level so people prefer to avoid dead coins there will be no clear advanced level in the future it is because Coins are meaningless.

Above is a bit of data from dead coins, nothing you can do if the developer of that coin leaves the project and the coin is not listed on the CEX exchange, because every altcoin is created for a purpose and if the developer leaves the project after the ICO, then it is a scam and thing it's usually done because the team wants to take advantage of investors, for example Cibus and Nauticus are dead coins left by developers

Of course I have dead coins that I got from the bointy, and at this time I can't hope anymore with that. what I can do now is move on and find another good bounty to follow so that the results are also good. by choosing a good bounty then we will get good results too. I left the coins in my wallet because there was nothing to do with them and tried to get coins that had good prospects so that they could be more profitable. I hope i can get the coin that have good prospect in the future.

I think in this case almost all bounty hunters have dead coins in their wallets. Not just one or two, but many. I also have a lot of dead coins. But I don't care about it. But if you are lucky, a dead coin that has been for years, there will be one of these coins that provides a lot of profit, because it could suddenly listing the famous exchange and have a high price.

of course I have it, but I don't hold it, then my advice is you don't need to hold or manage dead coin, because it's useless, so just leave it and find a new coin that can give you a lot of profit, because you already know if it's a dead coin (can't give you profit), so you don't have to think about it anymore.

I also have some dead coins that have been left by the developer. i got the coin from the bounty campaign and also the airdrop when i first got tempted by the promise they offer. but I've left it in the wallet and of course I prefer to replace a new wallet and focus on something else.

i have some dead coins in my wallet but they all have value way back 2019 if I'm not mistaken. Because i was assuming after years they will increase a lot because of their improvements after the distribution, so i keep holding them, but unfortunately they all suddenly become undervalued and i cant believe it will gonna happen to be honest wherein despite of their situation. And i noticed it that the hype is totally over and holders really abandoned the project.. For me they're not scam and i know it just part of the game that if you didn't monitor your token very often there's a chance it will become a shitcoin as its always happened because of some reason. So lesson learned for me. Lol

I hold tons of dead coins in my wallet and I got most of them while I just got introduced into crypto by filling Airdrops. I do absolutely nothing about any of them as I heard that you might get scammed by trying to sell of or dispose them.

How should we manage dead coins?

Just stop. A dead coin is a dead coin. It's basically doesn't have any use anymore, especially when it is abandoned by the devs. Even if the community tries to revive it, the chances of it taking off is almost non-existent because of how fast the market is moving and grading to a new and better products. I'd probably just forget about those dead coins. They aren't worth paying attention to.
