Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?

I have many in my wallet, its because i follow random airdrop long time ago, now i realize i just wasting time for it.
For me i just do nothing on it, since burning them will cost me some gas and i dont think its necessary.

There's nothing we can do on these dead coins, they are very annoying every time you look at your wallet, I have over 40 shit and dead coins in my wallet, some of these are coming from airdrops, you have to get used to it or create another wallet so you can store these dead coins if it's ok toyou to shoulder the fees, if you are active in airdrops and bounty campaigns, there's always possible to get shitcoins.

I do hold so many dead coins and a lot of these coins were coming randomly and i guess that being sent by the scammers to attract me to trade it on the dex.

How should we manage dead coins?

What you should do to leave your dead coins in your wallet. I guess there are so many hacked cases happened caused by people were touching these garbage coins. Just let them die in your wallet and you must do nothing for that.
That will be more than enough.

Personally, I have left what I think the coin has made us waste of time because of scammers, we have coins but there is no market in the crypto market, and the management doesn't even know it's gone without a trace, and it's better if we just leave the coins die and focus on coins that have high prospects and think new coins can make us bigger and more useful than we take advantage of

dead coins can also be called: junk coins either because the price is too cheap or indeed the coins are abandoned by the developers because there is no progress and by fraudsters. as said above there is nothing we can do with all of it except it will remain in the wallet as garbage

One can not do anything with dead coins it's useless or some of them are totally worth some cents even we can not earn a cent because we have to pay gas fee also and gas fee also higher than the total worth of coins So simply you have to ignore these coins. We most of the trader, investors or bounty hunters have many dead coins in the wallet. Leave it as it is in the wallet and focus on other potential coins that have worth.

I have a lot of coins in my wallet that are just left to enhance the beauty of my wallet.  Where beauty is not the main determinant of one's pricing, but its effectiveness is more important in pricing.  All the coins in the wallet are dead whose only job is to collect the wallet space.

yes I still hold dead coins in my wallet those were from bounties and airdrops that I participated before. There is nothing we can do with the dead coins, we can not delete or burn. I hope myetherwallet will add an option to delete the coins.

I think who is in crypto for longer has some dead coins hanging out in some forgotten wallets! I have some, but it's like I don't... I deleted a few wallets with some dead coins, I have keys somewhere, but I doubt I will ever use them!
It's a crypto road, I guess many of us had some bad investments! Nothing wrong with that, just forget about them, learn from that and move on!

it seems that many here have dead coins in their wallets. I myself get from the bounty results, many of the projects that sent tokens, but never listed on the market, and there is nothing we can do. but there are also some projects that have turned to ashes, suddenly the pump, and we must use that opportunity as best we can, because shortly after that it will usually be dumped

I have many dead coins in my wallets which i either received from bounty, airdrop or participating in IDO, IEO or from exchanges. This is a common matter that any active wallet may have few dead tokens. Once i tried to send dead coins from wallet but after increasing Gas fees in ethereum network, all dead coins remains as a dead and collaborates my wallet which is degusting.

I have no choice but to hold it since I can't do anything about it even if I send it, I'll just waste money paying the fees so better not to think about it anymore and just ignore those dead coins/tokens on your wallet. I have a lot of those dead coins/tokens that I received before on my bounty works, I just wasted my time working with them and the result is very bad for me, if you still have it just keep it but never expect that those dead coin/token will rise again that's too impossible.

I've been holding dead coins for years not because I'm still hoping for a profit but I just don't know what to do with it since it's on my wallets. I just hope that there would be alternatives or other ways to take them down since they don't have function anymore. I'm just ignoring dead coins and just focus on the active ones.

I don't.

But there's no solution to that if you want to manage them or get rid of them. Don't waste gas fees sending that to another wallet of yours.

You're good to just leave that wallet that contains dead coins and forget about it.

Dead coins are digital assets of projects that have been abandoned, turned out to be scams, have low liquidity or have insufficient funding, among many other reasons.

On the crypto meter, they are so-called “s***coins” that have been flushed of all value but continue to float around in the murky depths of crypto’s most depressing blockchains, devoid of all hope, abandoned for all eternity, running out of oxygen on the race to the moon.
You’ll often find dead coins by clicking the “Show All Balances” tab on your Binance wallet section, or by doing a search on your wallet’s public address.  Be warned: for any crypto user with more than two years of investment under their belt, the sight of their vanquished moonshot coins may be too much to bear.

There are websites such as Coinospy and Deadcoins that track deceased crypto projects floating in this dead space. Reporting dead coins can even earn you extra money or recognition from these sites.

I will just ignore it, there are some coins from bounties in people's wallet. Because not all is success, and mostly developer leave their project with investor's money or maybe failed to listed in market. If me usually i will consider it as collection.

I have a lot of dead coins, from the bounty or previously participating in the airdrop, just filling out the form and being given very fast time so that I can enter the list who will get the prize from the airdrop..
In my opinion about dead coins, I can only surrender and I let it go because access to the coin media is no longer..

Dead coins are just an ordinary scene in many wallets out there especially if you are a bounty and Airdrop hunter, even me I have a lot of dead coins and tokens, in the ERC20 algorithm but I'm just ignoring it because it's not worthy to transfer because of the huge gas fees on Ethereum network the best solution is to use another address if you feel that those dead coins/tokens are just useless in your eyes.

In my wallet there are quite a lot of worthless tokens, but there is one token that later became quite valuable after I considered the coin dead for a few years.  I still don't want to clean my wallet because I don't think it bothers me too much.
