Hi,

I'm interested in buying/establishing an alquo-masternode as it's cheap and the project looks promising.
Questions:
1)
Is https://hosting.alqo.org a fully automated solution? (buy node, copy/paste wallet details into interface provided by algo.org?)
They do updates on serverside and I only have to maintain walletupdates?
Any other recommended services like alqomn.com?
2)
Any plans for wellknown exchangers? (i don't want to dig into cryptobridge)

br,
Andy

1. use the official host from alqo , easy peasy and safe Smiley.... how you sayed  you need only to maintain walletupdates... and wait your rewards.
2. cryptobridge is easy to use , fast, and safe. i trade there  and have enough volume to buy a node without paying extra ...

What a selloff 20 minutes ago someone dumped around 140K ALQO at CB. Can't believe I didn't have any BTC in there.

Btw I'm wondering how longer we gonna have to wait for Liberio wallet.

As the team mentioned on the discord, there is a bottleneck with framework license by Bunifu. Therefore, developers are not able to compile the production version of Liberio yet. I guess we will need to wait a bit more ..

cheap ALQO is not a bad thing for newcomers....hope who got out yday will regret in next weeks , months Smiley... or maybe wll buy back soon:)

today from discord :
Raphael "Rapha" Scheidler - Today at 4:45 PM
I can assure you, the team hasn’t dumped at all, we are selling parts of the dev fee to accredited investors and banks, OTC, without manipulating the market price.

ALQO is now ready for cross-chain dapps with the Blocknet Protocol!

Now that XLQ is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps and traded on beta Block DX!

You can read more about Blocknet, the Blocknet Protocol, and Block DX here:

https://blocknet.co

https://sites.google.com/view/blocknet/directory

To get started with trading on Block DX, follow this setup guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ciwLFSXwv6CXd3QEvVW88lHXo9CSIlweYOoSbDHkies/preview

The setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded

Wow. Big news for ALQO! Do we have to update Masternodes/Wallets? Keep up the good work Guys. I wonder why XLQ is still so cheap after all these good news and developments  Smiley

Indeed great news! I don't think we have to update  because it is much more on the Blocknet side I guess, but not 100% sure. The masternode coin market is flooded with some silly 10,000% ROI coins and many new people fall for that. Hopefully they do not burn themselves to badly to be open to good projects again.

Hold on,can you run the masternode from local wallet or vps is recommended?

I tried renting a VPS and it worked for 20-something days then some cache error occurred - easy to clean but I had to go through initial waiting time for revenue so I decided to go with official alqo masternode hosting.

https://hosting.alqo.org/

Cheers!

One of the major points for the official hosting service is that they are updating the client. This worked great nearly all of the time. That might be great for beginner without any linux/shell knowledge

from discord: devs ask

Since a lot people tell me that we should change the system we do for picking the contestants at the monthly Bitfineon community vote listing - I want to hear your ideas.

Tell me how you would approach this contest, which ends at a community governance vote.

Send your ideas to [email protected] per mail.

I will give away an alqo T-Shirt + hoody for the best idea. (Small incentive for doing so!)

Hold on,can you run the masternode from local wallet or vps is recommended?

vps  or alqo masternode host.

in the near future will be possible from webwallet, i guess.

would be interesting to see the hosting via web wallet. But that would actually use the official masternode hosting service too right? Curious to see how this is going to work.

Should create more hype in the crypto community about the Bitfineon exchange, feels like almost noone knows anything about alqo or bitfineon. Need marketing and awareness.

You are right, a bit more hype around upcoming Bitfineon would be great. The Bitfineon itself will be an attractive selling proposition, there not so many coins (tokens) with fully working meaningful product even in top100 market cap coins.

The CMC ranking does not really reflect the actual value of the project or the development. you are right that most higher projects have less achieved and sometimes are just overhyped. The use of ALQO with Bitfineon is great and gives some more demand, but you have to keep in mind that its a centralized exchange. Centralized exchanges generate not that kind of hype as it used to ( except binance). I hope the Exchange gets well adapted and fitting itself well in the ecosystem

but why XLQ is not pushed to be traded on new exchanges... i know bitfineon will be the main exchange, but will be better if  will be more choices for traders/buyers/sellers/users.

Yea. Exactly. I support this new exchange idea. When Cryptopia Devs and Mods?  Cool

Sure I agree that a broader representation on exchanges will help the project. Cryptopia actually had an offer last time I checked with reduced listing fees. Maybe its really an easy option

New version 3.5 of alqo-qt.exe for Windows cannot close properly, always crashes. Is it only my problem or someone else experiences the same?
I have resync chain, created new wallet - still crashing.
Not a big deal - it works OK, just crashes on close, but I hope to get things fixed one day.
i have same issue/error when i close  the walet.
i think we need to report this to devs. on discord.
