Ryan Garcia expelled by WBC after using racial slurs in livestream.

Quote
Ryan Garcia was expelled by the World Boxing Council on Thursday after he repeatedly used racial slurs against Black people and disparaged Muslims in comments livestreamed on social media.

This is really getting out of control, someone needs to help this kid, it's evident that this is a mental issues. Although later he admit that he is trolling, but it's too late as the damage has been done already and WBC has expelled and most likely there could be other governing bodies that might follow them despite his apologies. I don't think this is trolling, and with the cancel culture we have right now, just one mistakes and you will be done.

Too bad, Ryan Garcia is getting worst, Oscar said that he will be going into rehab though, so that is a first good sign and who's better to advise him that Oscar himself as underwent the same depression fuel with drugs and alcohol. Initially him and his group trash a well known hotel and later they pay the fine, so money is that the problem for Ryan. And perhaps his whole entourage and the people surrounding him is that not good influence.

So that is the good start, apologizes from Ryan and then going into rehab and think about his life's decision and his mental illness. Hopefully it's not that late though, he is just under a one year suspension and after that he could be very well make a huge comeback and make a lot of money from boxing. He should have a mentor though that will carry him so that he can make the correct judgement.

That is coming from Oscar though, but we do hope that it's true that Ryan will go on a full rehab before everything goes out of spiral not just in his career, but in his personal life as there are things that he shouldn't be in because who knows, it might mean some prison time for him the worst.

His family will have to play a big role here, specially is Father who I think is still very healthy although is Mother has been sick if I'm not mistaken.

So far I hasn't seen any post from him since the last scandal about the supposedly break-in in his ex-girlfriend's house.

He's just 25. Although there is no assurance he could really come back to boxing, there might be an organization that will allow him to fight but it may come with a condition about the pay. If I were him, I would probably try joining Jake Paul's business. They were friends still AFAIK.

Or probably fights in MMA but keeps an open contract that he can fight in boxing, PFL, and UFC. This I think is a good option for a crazy kid like him.  Grin He could be like Conor who can change the sport and maybe cross-promotion will be possible in MMA for once in history.

Ryan though is a boxer, it might be very difficult for him to go to MMA as it is a different sports and for me, MMA fighters really need a lot of discipline as compare to boxers. We all know that Ryan Garcia has problems with being discipline, he was exposed by Canelo already when he says that Ryan didn't give 100% during his training.

Anyhow, his ban from boxing is already running and we all know how time flies. Not sure about joining with Jake Paul as well, with their extreme personalities, it could be very difficult and there could be conflicts along the way. Just let himself take that 1 year ban from boxing and then reset everything in his life specially his relations with his families and love ones.

What can I say, money and fame has spoiled another person. But, I dont think that Ryan really regret what he did (or did not), or feel bad about situation he is in. He still has money. He is expelled from WBC, but there other promotions. There always will be people, who wish to pay and seem him fighting. He beat Haney after all Cheesy So far its Haney, who got the ball and doing something. Wait till Garcia lawyers start doing their job.
Yes, most likely, he is enjoying the limelight again, as obviously, he is in the news and so they talk about him and what could have been of him if he doesn't have this mental issues. But lets not forget that he make us fool during his fight with Haney and think that he is out of his mind with his antics during their face-off. But when the bell rings, it was a different Ryan and he was really focus on destroying Haney, albeit he supposedly used a performance enhancing drug. But he still has a lot of money in his bank that majority of us could only think that we could have dream of. I think the lawyers did a good job on him, it's that there are already people who made Ryan guilty already, as if he is the victim of "trial by publicity".

Grown up men instead of proving everything on the ring, ended up with throwing poops on each other Cheesy Sad to see that men turned into average Karens and instead of acting like gentlemen, decided to accuse, lie, insult and talk about money only. The more hysterical Haney side is, the worse reputation he has Cheesy

That's attitude of people been expose to much on social media. They always asked a validation or attention that's why they act like a jerk and continue spit on each others face.

Much better for them to move on since the decision is already been drop since nothing will happen if they keep battling and posting nonsense against each other.

People know that Haney is in bad shape even if he's team successfully win on their dispute against Garcia but people already know the fact that he is a total loser and badly beaten up by Garcia. But you can expect more heated arguments between them since maybe Garcia will try to distract Haney since he's on suspension or what he declare retirement and nothing else to do.

It's really hard to move on after that devastating lost, he could have been losing his mentality after that and that's why he chooses to be champion in recess and doesn't want to fight for many months because of that.

And again his attitude him and his father continue to attack Garcia in public after he was found guilty, paid millions and then suspended for a year. They still wanted more to really damage the reputation of Garcia, but it looks like everything is backfiring on them as now, boxing fans are going against the Haney's.

^^ I guess Ryan Garcia had earn a friend in Dana, although Dana might have the right to say that as he has been in this business for so long and it could really be tainted drugs that was given to Ryan as the percentage they caught him is very small. But not sure what Dana means about Ryan getting the right people to around him, could he mean his trainer and other people that influence Ryan? Or his legal team that tries to defend him against NYSAC? In any case, Ryan should really be careful the time, and all his supplements should be at least screen by people that he really trusted.

The UFC's uncle Dana has told reporters his opinion on King Ry's suspension when he was asked about this and it appears that according on his own experience and what his legal team has told him, uncle Dana speculates that King Ry might have used tainted supplements.

Devin Haney might also knows this and this is why he is so very much devastated. King Ry did not cheat to win.

After a terrific win against Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia was in complete disbelief when he discovered his B-sample tested positive for Ostarine, a selective androgen receptor modulator, in other words, a PED. Although Garcia and his legal team argued for the boxer’s innocence, the NYSAC ultimately banned ‘KingRy’ for a year after a deal with his legal team, changing his victory against Haney into a no-contest. Now, UFC president Dana White jumped to Ryan Garcia’s defense, publicly claiming the latter did not cheat!

And now Dana White said, “With all our knowledge that we have and the years that we’ve been drug-testing, we believe the people who had handled the drug-testing [knew] that he took a tainted supplement and that he did not cheat.” In White’s opinion, Garcia’s team failed to handle the matter well.

“If he had the right people around him that wouldn’t have happened. We were pretty confident it was a tainted supplement,” Dana White added at the post-fight press conference for UFC 303.

“It’s not my fight, it’s none of my business, not my place to even talk about it. But, from what my team tells me, and these guys are the best, it was a tainted supplement,” White concluded confidently.

And so Ryan Garcia releases his latest video regarding the controversy. This time he is involving former champion Zab Judah (Devin Haney's grand daddy), and a guy name Scooter, who he says is a specialist for losing weight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp0LrE1-ZbQ

So not sure what to make about this statement from Ryan Garcia though. Everyone could have their thoughts and maybe they can share it here. For me, this is already settled, Ryan is suspended and they are just going back and forth. And he said that he won't rematch Haney, as he doesn't want to give Haney that big money again, fair enough. I think it was just Ryan who really promoted this fight with his antics before the fight itself.

Lol, I didn't know that Haney also attacked Oscar as he claimed that Dela Hoya didn't pay him, and here is Oscar's reply,

And again, with this kind of videos by Haney and his claims, we really think that he is pathetic to have this and trying to negate what Ryan did to him, but it's over, damage has been done and now he is a champion in recess meaning he doesn't want to fight for at least as long as he wanted to.

So good for Puello to be elevated as full champion. But then again, WBC is one of the most corrupt if not the most corrupt governing body in boxing with the Sulaiman's on top for many decades already.

The fact there was even an interim championship while Haney was still an active champion shows how corrupt the WBC is. Puello and Russell weren’t even the most deserving fighters in the division that they needed to fight for a title. The WBC just loves creating belts out of thin air whenever Al Haymon asks them for a favor. As long as they can extract more sanctioning fees it is a win-win for both sides.

Yeah, for me interim championship are useless when you have a champion, and there are cases that we still have 2 champions at the same time, interim and the regular champion. Regular champion if they are back should fight the interim to settle as who will be their champion.

Unfortunately, WBC is so corrupt that they allow to have a regular champion in recess, he should be stripped if he can't defend that belt and let the fight between Puello and Martin for the regular belt.

It's always best for the sport to just remove the interim belts. Maybe champion in recess when a champion is injured or is out for valid reasons. The case of Haney does not warrant a champion in recess status because he is simply unwilling to defend his belt against Sandor.

That's true, but then again, WBC allowed champion in recess to hold and hostage that belt for so long and so we might see interim champion holding on it and as long as the regular champion doesn't want to defend, most likely WBC is not going to strip him of belt.

And it is very confusing that the WBC issued Puello-Russell for their interim belt. If there's an interim belt holder then that should be automatically the mandatory but they're not since it's Sandor that has to get the title shot first.

I thought it's Puello vs Sandor Martin for the interim belt, or Puello already declared as interim champion and so he will have to defend his belt against the Spaniard. So that makes things complicated again by the WBC.

I remember that they have a lot of belts, during the Pacquiao reign, sort of like a special belt for him. Anyhow, I do agree, even request by a powerful boxing manager and promoter like Al Haymon, can't be denied by this organizations.

And hopefully, HE Turki Alalshikh might change everything if he will take over boxing as that was the plan. Their could be resistance, but for sure if Mauricio Sulaiman is offered big money, maybe he will lead go of his organization.

@Jating. He will only experience this if he will challenge Teo and win, then after this a fight vs. Tank. However, before this, organize Tank vs. Loma where Tank will be the winner hehehehe. This will certainly create a very good storyline for legacy that will cause jealousy in King Ry's heart hehehehe.

However, very much similar to our speculations, King Ry has destroyed Devin Haney's mind and his heart. He might not be the same again after the loss against King Ry.

Two-division world champion Devin Haney has been declared a “WBC World Champion in Recess”. The Bay Area’s former undisputed lightweight king and the WBC junior welterweight titleholder reportedly requested such status from the governing body.

Newly-crowned interim WBC 140-pound champion Alberto Puello was elevated to a full champion. He has been ordered to face WBC’s No. 1-ranked contender Sandor Martin.

According to Boxing Scene, Haney, who kept his belt and whose first career defeat was also overturned to a NC, told WBC he was “physically, mentally and emotionally” unfit to make an immediate title defense. His request for “Champion in Recess” status was unanimously granted by the WBC Board of Governors, as per the governing body’s release.

Source https://www.fightmag.com/devin-haney-declared-wbc-world-champion-in-recess-puello-vs-martin-ordered/

And with that, does it mean that Sandor Martin vs Devin Haney is not going to push through? And he forget one important thing, that is Devin is not going to get huge money fighting Sandor Martin. And it was Top Rank of all the promoters that bid here, not his Match Room that won and so it was a slap on Haney's face that Eddie Hearn chooses to bid small and not interested to set up the fight.

So good for Puello to be elevated as full champion. But then again, WBC is one of the most corrupt if not the most corrupt governing body in boxing with the Sulaiman's on top for many decades already.
