That's one of the benefits of playing online. Though I don't consider myself a gambler since I only dabbled a bit, I can imagine people I know giving a dirty look had they found me in a casino or out on the streets playing whatever gambling is available.

Now that I've mentioned that. Maybe the number of dedicated gamblers are actually larger since people can play without even their families knowing.

The most important thing is that no matter how hard the lesson in your life at least you learned.

No. Whether you are in gambling or not, "society" will always have an opinion of you. Now, that is up to you if you let their opinions affect you. Don't mind about your public image unless you are some traditional politician.

Yes, that happened to me once in the past. But at that time I was still young and didn't really care about other people's views. Btw, since I was growing up, I realized that people's views of us are important. I no longer expose my gambling activities so that no one else will know. I keep my habit a secret.

Nope. I generally don't tell people I gamble, and some of my friends don't like the fact that I gamble, but for the most part gambling hasn't changed my reputation much at all. I do know irresponsible gamblers who have had their reputations changed due to gambling more money than they can afford to lose, though. My parents likely care the most that I gamble, though they also know I'm mostly a responsible person and they don't worry too much about it as a result.

in my family and friends? No, but there are some people(neighbor, church people,) who judge me for gambling but I could careless what they think of me
as long as my relationship with the people I care about is fine I will continue to gamble but the moment gambling start affecting it
I will stop immediately. stopping will not be that easy since gambling is like a daily routine for me but I won't risk my reputation just
for gambling.

Everything that we are doing will surely affect our reputation or image in society. As for gambling, there are different beliefs about it, for some it's okay, but for others, it's not. If you are a gambler, you shouldn't bother yourself with the opinion of others. As long as you know that you are not violating laws or doing anything bad that may hurt or cause a negative effect on the people around you, especially those who are close to you.

Gambling is a personal decision. You are using your own money. You have a control on what to do with it. If you are using someone else money or if gambling becomes your addiction, then don't be surprised by the negative comments you might hear. But if you are sure to yourself that you are handling your finances well, then I think there's nothing wrong about it.

Personally, I don't always involve myself in gambling. It's not because I see it as a sinful activity, but it's just my choice. Like what you have written, we can do whatever we have wanted.

Some people will feel Basic Gambling is bad (in the sense of view).

Because, in my country if there is someone playing gambling. That means the person is bad, unemployed, there is no work without thinking about the results obtained in playing gambling.

So no wonder, if people play gambling without having to tell anyone. Because negative impacts will arise on the person.

That's normal - either they care for you or look at you as not the type of person should be accompanied with. As for me, why should I care for others view if I know to myself that I'm a responsible gambler? My money came from my own pocket, came from my own work so I will do whatever I like as long as it won't affect the allocation for my personal spendings.

It really happens. So up to us if we will be affected to that or not. We know ourselves more than them.

You can always be anonymous when playing it online so why the bother? But if you are referring to society you can surely never escape from the cold look of some people, like in the old saying you surely can not please all people, And even if there are people that are very judgemental when it comes to gambling there are people that really don't mind if you are into it, And I guess gambling is now very common in the society nowadays and particularly there are many establishments now that would surely let you bet, And I think that gamblers are now well received and that is why there are certain people that portray themselves as professionals in this industry.
