I knew Bitcoin even before I got registered in here. But - yunno this feeling of having a very little knowledge about something without wanting to know more? That's it! I started my crypto journey after enough tutoring in here.

Celebrities and influencers who attracted us to invest in bitcoin are not bad and should be avoided, in fact we should be grateful instead that they open our eyes to the potentials of bitcoin. That’s why we should also do our part on verifying what’s there in bitcoin that we should follow them instead of ignoring them. Although I don’t invest because of them, but I must say that they were very helpful on guiding me on how to start with bitcoin. Now, I’m already enjoying the fruits of my investment, and I’m thankful for those who have introduced me into bitcoin.

I've known bitcoin for a very long time, when the value of 1 bitcoin is only $520.00 only. It wasn't the famous personalities that encouraged me to invest but the people I met in crypto. they are just normal people, they also have professions in life but they are financially stable and know how to manage money. If I look back, it started when they became our regular clients in our small business, they all already know about bitcoin, they invest and doing trading, some of them are also involved in signature campaigns, but I started as a white paper translator. at that time, bitcoin was not that popular because not everyone would invest in it, the image of bitcoin was not good before because the news about crypto was all negative, that it was a scam, used for bad things especially in dark web, etc.
Recently, bitcoin has been making noise among celebrities but we are not sure, maybe because other famous personalities have had bitcoin investments for a long time, but they not broadcast it in news or social media because of course when it comes to financial discussions, it should be confidential.

If youth are getting inspired by celebrities or any influencer, I don't think it is bad; so far, they are getting what they want from there. But the best way to follow celebrities or influencers is by doing your own research. Let these be some sources of information for you. and once people are doing their own research, they will hardly fall under this scam project. Some celebrities and influencers are people; they really bring some people to the cryptocurrency industry, so following steps is not a problem when someone always does their own research.

As for me, I did not start investing in bitcoin because of any celebrity, but because of my friends. I was hearing about Bitcoin for a very long time before I started to invest in it, but the person that motivated me was my college friend after making some profit from it, and this is how I approached him and started my own Bitcoin investment.

Lots of people follow their favorite influencers, I don’t have any problem with that, but if you are following any influencers, make sure you do your research before investing in any projects that they are marketing for. Some influencers are not really reliable, and some of them do have little knowledge about the project that they are promoting, so even if you are a die hard fan of a celebrity, still take your time to do research before investing in the project.

I heard about bitcoin from different people and on social media, but I never joined cryptocurrency because of anyone. When I invested in bitcoin, I didn’t see any celebrities promoting it, so I didn’t invest because of any celebrities.

Any sane person with their senses in the right place would do the same, however, some people follow some celebrities blindly and they do it to the extent that the followers would do anything the celebrity says or they would even do what the celebrity does on camera, which means that if a celebrity is promoting a project or something, they wouldn't think about anything but jump right in to make investments and get their hands on it.

This is also the reason why celebrities demand a lot of money from projects and platforms when they are asked to promote them because they know they have crazy followers who would convert into buyers or investors if those celebrities endorse their project or platform.

However, people need to have some sense of how they are supposed to use their finances.

You made remember how Mayweather, Kim Kardashian, DJ Khaled and many other top celebrities advertised many shitcoins and unfortunately those coins didn't end well, looks more of rug pull and exit scam than even small projects and when the case was look into, they were sued and fine for advertising such coins and that made me understand that celebrities doesn't know anything about crypto, they just used their voice and recognition for attention.

I will say Bitcoin case is different, it's hard for you to investing with Bitcoin of you buy it at lower price but I don't advice any person to buy coin under the influence of any celebrities because most of them don't buy what they advertise. They are only after the money gotten from promotions.

I really agree with you, when it comes to money, of course we have to be able to make our own decisions and don't let other people make us lose our money when following other people's advice and it would be better for us to do this first before deciding to invest so as not to make us lose. the funds we have for the investments we make, doing personal research really helps us to be able to give us a good understanding of what we are going to do because without understanding we will not differentiate between what is right or wrong.

I actually joined Bitcoin out of my own will, though I have not seen any celebrity making an advertisement about Bitcoin, celebrities are always into making different content based on shows and the rest of it. But I have not come across any of the celebrities content discussing about Bitcoin before also going into something just because of what people said about it is very wrong, it is always good to carry out your investigations on that rather than investing on what you know nothing about risking your hard earned money and get scammed, nowadays some individuals uses celebrities photos to scam people in the Internet which is very wrong so we should be careful on how we go about believe people most especially in the Internet.

I think that it is foolish to invest in Bitcoin just because someone said they thought it was a good idea. This isn’t about Bitcoin. It’s about investments and risks in general. We’re talking about a possibility of losing money and you can’t do that on someone’s believe. You should have your own believe and you will find it when you have research on the idea that has been suggested to you.

Also, Some of these influencers are paid (talking about those who post Altcoins for example), that’s why you should DYOR because it may not be for your good that they publicize certain information.

it doesn't matter if you started investing in Bitcoin because of the information you got from a celebrity and surely, we have them all around all the social media platforms running ads and encouraging people to go into somany investment platform which have helped some and have been very detrimental to others but if the investment option that you got from the supposed celebrity is regarding Bitcoin, then it's good but for me, i didn't get into Bitcoin investments because of the information I got from a celebrity and I don't even take those dudes seriously because most of them are just doing the advert based on the fact that they've been paid already to do so and whatever you're getting from them is not a financial advice as they themselves aren't even involved In those platforms.

You're absolutely right is good to get information in the media, the media itself is a means of sharing information to different countries but sometimes the information we get from the madia can be wrong that is why is very important to make research after getting any information from the media, maybe it might be the wrong information or the right one. However when I was not familiar with this crypto investment I see a lot of people in social media testifying on how they made huge amount of money from crypto trading, since I'm not familiar with crypto trading so I decided to conduct a deep research about how crypto trading works, so on the contrary a friend of my also introduce me to this platform then that's when I started learning about how crypto trading works.

It's good getting update from the Media but it doesn't feel safe when you reacts to those media influences without making research and then you just bump into investing. I'm generalizing it because not only in bitcoin that influencers can disguise their selves on a logic to divert investors funds and disappear with it.

Honestly, I once heard the phrase 'don't find idols for yourself' and after that I never made any decisions based on the actions of any celebrities or stars. There are so many examples of stars who advertise outright trash or invest in the air. Perhaps the worst thing you can do is to believe some star on the screen and invest blindly, without a clear analysis of the product.(IMHO)
