The thing is you can’t simply just stumble upon something just like that, most people got here through social media or through reading articles. It is not necessarily that one influencer will be the reason to invest into bitcoin but it could because of group of investors that were spreading the FOMO around social media that got many people attention.

As for doing research it was definitely necessary to do that research after finding out from the social media and do some the research is what brought some people here in the forum. Research is an important thing to do even if someone introduces you to something

Basically, the interest in Bitcoin investment is increasing day by day, only if you see the investment of a celebrity, but not the same as what you would invest. If you want to invest in bitcoins you should definitely invest in bitcoins after gaining enough knowledge about bitcoins but not just because you see which celebrities have invested in bitcoins. You should always plan for the long term when it comes to Bitcoin investing. There is no rush to invest in Bitcoin. Many people are in a rush to become an overnight millionaire after investing in Bitcoin. So you should always have a long-term plan in Bitcoin investment and invest with a calm mind so that you can achieve proper success with the investment.

I invested in Bitcoin not because of celebrities and influencers. They are probably just getting to know Bitcoin, so they are starting to invite people, including their visitors, to start investing in Bitcoin. I also don't know those people, but they should be able to research it first before investing.

We don't know whether it is a wise decision because it depends on each person. Hopefully, they can research it before deciding so they don't make the wrong decision. If not, they will have difficulty making a profit.

Before joining this forum, I had very little knowledge about Bitcoin, and although I had a lot of stories about how people will invest a lot of money in it, and within months they became very rich, I was very skeptical because MMM, Ponzi scheme, had scammed a lot of people in my country. I never believed influencers or any other sources, until I joined this forum and became convinced that Bitcoin is a store of value and a very genuine and legit investment. It was this forum that really opened my eyes to the reality of cryptocurrency, many ignorant people out there still thinks that other crypto coins/ tokens are parts of Bitcoin, they get scammed and blames it all on Bitcoin.

Investment shouldn't be done based on other peoples opinions or because it is what people seems to be doing or talking about, you must be self conviction enough to understand the prons and cons of such investment and tailor it down to your own level of preparedness as to that regards in order for you to make an informed decisions that will suits you along side achieving your goals and objectives.

You do have a point. But there are influencers or content creators who solely create content for crypto and even without any sponsor they might spread word about bitcoin just out of good will which could have ended up in someone’s feed considering the algorithm.

There are so many ways to learn about bitcoin and many more ways to actually understand it. The internet is very vast and very helpful nowadays.

No, I learnt about Bitcoin in 2016 and it was this forum where I heard about Bitcoin for first time. It took me sometime to realize the potential of Bitcoin. I was fortunate enough to find this forum because without it I may not be able to know about Bitcoin so early.

I'm among those people who learned about Bitcoin when it's price was still below $1000 and I learnt about it from this forum. I got to this forum because I searched for some digital goods, and ways to sell those, and in that search I came to this forum. After that I started learning about Bitcoin, and to be honest, it was one the best decisions of my life.

The development of the digital world, including social media, means celebrities have the power to influence their fans through posts on social media, but I consider myself lucky because I have never been influenced by what they convey through posts on their social media accounts regarding anything, including Bitcoin, and it seems like I already knew about Bitcoin long before these celebrities were interested in Bitcoin but actually crypto, and I found out about Bitcoin from a local forum how he through the forum and also his personal blog taught how to get Bitcoin for free because at that time it was quite easy to get it, and I was lucky to learn about Bitcoin from someone who didn't take advantage of the knowledge he had.
And to be honest I think celebrities only convey what can benefit them so that's not a wise thing and we should do in-depth research for whatever they try to convince us because of the risks we will face

Although you will be lucky if a celebrity influences you to invest in bitcoins, it is not still good that you get influenced to invest without your own research. Some celebrities have knowingly and unknowingly influenced people to invest in shitcoins that they later regretted because they did not do their own research. The SEC had to step in to prevent more people from the influence of these celebrities who may be receiving money by the creators of these coins to promote it.

Luckily, I did not. And those that have always been by their idols, you have to rethink about financial decisions. You can be a fan of their craft but you shouldn't be too reliant to financial things towards them because they're going to make easy money while doing nothing and only add their names to the brands. I am glad that I got into Bitcoin without seeing any signs, it was a decision I made myself, and for myself only, I understood the risks and since the government was always troublesome for me I felt the need to become a Bitcoinist.

There are some influencers online who may have influenced a lot of investors into Bitcoin, let's not forget that some people only take actions when they are been told so, only very few numbers of people want to be different and take actions without anyone's opinion.

I have seen some influencer's videos on YouTube, and most times these influencers are doing this for money too, that is why it is hard to see crypto influencers talking about Bitcoin only, they always bring in other altcoins too as form of promotion to get paid, they advertise for new crypto exchanges and all that, Bitcoin is just a part but their main goal is making money.

Someone must say about something directly or indirectly before we can have the awareness of it, and how we got the information does not really matter, what matters is how you take that serious. I didn't get motivated by any celebrity but the news from people I know caught my interest before I did a little research about bitcoin.

I didn't know how to go about my bitcoin journey, but when I got registered here, it made investing in bitcoin easy for me because I was able to understand the potential of bitcoin and price value. I did not start investing in Bitcoin because of some celebrity no. If anything, I probably wouldn’t have started investing if I’d first heard of Bitcoin via some celebrity. I understand the power of social media & the younger generation today idolises famous people so I assume public figures shilling Bitcoin could attract young people to buy Bitcoin. I have my own mind though.

Celebrities promote many things in exchange for money which we call influence. they create video content only to show people with no guarantee that they will engage in it. So of course it is important to do your research before investing money in anything. But I am always encouraged to invest in Bitcoin. but I don't invest in influencers when they promote them for anything else. and Bitcoin has no regulatory body so I don't think the influencers get paid to promote Bitcoin. so I will definitely invest in Bitcoin

Celebrities hardly advertise Bitcoin so I doubt if much people heard about Bitcoin from them. Who will pay them for such advertisement? Besides, Bitcoin does not need any advertisement... I think this has been a topic of debate in many platforms I have joined and I really think there are some merits in it. Instead of Bitcoin, what I have noticed celebrity advertise are altcoins, NFT and other projects that mimics Bitcoin. Founders of these projects made special budget for marketing and that is how the celebrities get paid.

There are actually few early adopters of Bitcoin that couldn't resist the urge to flaunt their wealth in social media, they have huge followers but they are extremely few and most of them I know have even gone ahead to create some other coins and platforms in which they advertise using their big stash of Bitcoin as bait to attract people to them. Instead of people investing in Bitcoin because of them, people end up investing in their new creation with the hope that it will perform like Bitcoin.

Regards to this question, I think that this is a good indicator that someone is stupid to some level because they don't think for themselves, I mean it's weird that you let others decide how to live your life because you're so fond of that celebrity that you want to imitate what they've been into or to invest into what they're invested into. I didn't get influenced by any person into investing into bitcoin, friend's found it, we all got curious about bitcoin and did our research, found it to be a viable way to make money while we're still in school. It was an awesome experience to be learning more about bitcoin. To the people that are still following celebrities and their tips in life, just so you know that the difference of how they live and how we live is like heaven and earth, it can't be the same so stop following them and what they do and learn to live for yourself and your loved ones.
