53 million bought on the 1st between 21:00 and 23:59 that ran price up from 14 to 19. That's not the first time a major player has made an aggressive buy either. It's happened a lot lately . . . along with the major bids that stay in place and slowly get filled. We're seeing huge accumulation if you ask me.

Yes indeed, and normally the price rises before the announcement & on the day off the announcement it get's dumped.
This time it will be diffrent.
Waiting to see a minimal X10 jump after the announcement.

On Cryptsy  a few million DGB was sold at 16 sat within the past 2 hours or so.  Roughly .8 BTC worth if I had to guess

Yes, this is what I meant... Sell pressure has just increased a bit in a while ago. That is all. Nothing bad.

I think good news is on their way! (i think there was around 2 btc bought last 48 hours @ 16 sat on crypty)

Check these buy in orders on Cryptsy! Never saw a buy in of this amount for DGB!!!
0.09573684 BTC @ 0.00000016
8.26685811 BTC @ 0.00000015
1.03048360 BTC @ 0.00000014

Maybe fake wall? Or maybe not...
In my opinion the price will increase so I bought some DGB Smiley
No, the wall had a volume of 8 btc and 9 btc.
1 off them bought on nov.1
I think when they don´t have enough before friday they will buy with everything.

I was wondering about those huge orders, I was thinking they would just chew threw the orders once it got close to announcement time.  Wish I had more btc to go through and get the cheap coins before that big whale comes and gets them all!
I think it´s the investors want to get a large amount of DGB cheap,That´s why there is a delay of announcement.  "market timing"

Just an FYI, I have one of my rigs pointed at qubit and one pointed at groestl ( using the aidbit miner ) .  Both have the same engine clock ( 1050 ) / mem clock ( 1500 ) and are undervolted the same amount.  I wont be able to read the kill - a - watt until I get home to check on the power draw.

The qubit rig is running at ~19 MH and the groestl rig is ~65 MH.    The groestl rig is running a bit warmer than the qubit one but that makes sense given the optimized miner.  Qubits miner is ...very inefficient.

Ill leave this configuration a day or two for comparison.  Ive been mining and holding so I haven't been cashing out to pay for the electric bill so hopefully the power draw on groestl wont be significantly more than qubit...

Ill keep you posted.

HR, which driver are you using for your cards? I think my 280x might have to go back to 13.12 for the optimized kernel....from what im reading anyway.  From my understanding, Groestl favors more of the older generation of cards and the newer gen cards need some tweaking to compete.

Linux: Ubuntu 12.04 standard default drivers, NOT the beta, and no AMD proprietary either.

Windows: Windows 7 with 7900 Series 12.104.0.0

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and I love what I'm getting out of this.

You know, I've heard it said that there are two types of computer users, those who love playing with the latest technology and beta software, and those who want the known stable. I'm of the second group: I have tasks to complete and I want to get the job done with a proven stable version. Wink

I understand your point, once I got my qubit setup and working I haven't touched it since.  Switching over to groestl broke my 30 day uptime record =(.  I am currently running the 14.6 drivers since it had the boost to x11 which I was mining before the multi-algo switch.
