Seriously stop the pool spam. It's annoying and in my opinion scares new people away. The only thing you do is shove it up people's faces. And nobody likes that.

Two step solution: ignore & don't quote. So far it's working for me.

Azure DigiByte P2Pool

DDOS reisistant P2Pool Node

http://dgbpool.cloudapp.net:9022/

To connect to this P2Pool node simply point your miner at:

URL: stratum+tcp://dgbpool.cloudapp.net:9024
Username: Your DGB address
Password: Anything

Sample configuration

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://dgbpool.cloudapp.net:9022 -u DT7EVu3upbtudLrGxvppZgfz4q4L9ridR3 -p X

Fast facts

1. P2Pool nodes are all part of one single, big, distributed pool
2. When any p2pool worker on any node finds a block, everyone on all the nodes gets paid their share
3. There is no pool wallet, and hence no payout threshold. Payments go directly to your wallet
4. The distributed nature of p2pool resists DDoS attacks

Decentralize the hashrate!

IMO i don't think this coin is going to take off, far more profitable coins to now mine. Everyone seems to be wanting it to get on Cryptsy, that will only maybe raise the price temporally, that isn't the solution to the dwindling popularity of the coin.

Painful seeing the price under 100, need it to go back up to about 160 so i can dump all my DGB.

Look at dogecoin it is going to da moon
Yeah, that's example of how popularity=value

Plus, market manipulation = value.

I feel relieved that I got DGB for a long hold. Seeing too much hate and sadness in those, who look for a quick money.

What about Kimoto gravity well for Digibyte ?
I asked about KGW for Digibyte on January 26, 17 days ago

Shitcoin and shit developers what can I say. This is going to 20 satoshi soon.

I think you have some serious issues...

I have serious issues with price and they way devs are handling things at the moment. I repeat again the value will NOT grow unless more people are using the coin. For people to use the coin you better spread it around. It is the only way to the moon. If you think that listing on more exchanges will drive up the price then you are fucking delusional.

Your argument that coin has to be spread is understandable and I am following a couple of coins, which has a lot of potential, but are having troubles with marketing.  And I am patient, since I understand that a succesful campaign is not something that can be easily done in a week, especially, when there's a lot of preparations to be done for a coin to be able be accepted well. No one is happy about the current price, but this is not some kind of joke coin or randomly lucky burst of money for the pump'n'dumpers, it is moving forward slowly but steady (not in the price, unfortunatelly, for now) and if the devs will do, what they planned, we will see the brighter days. No need for "shit" tags.

As of now with current tools there is nothing stopping of attracting tech crowd. Why I say tech is because these people are computer literate. If you think average person will start using digibyte you are so wrong. Nobody is going to to use it why because it is fucking hard and you must be a nerd. Unless it is easy to use you can forget that. We shouldn't wait. I asked dev look at all the techforums, try  youtube attract people who have computer skills get the ball rolling. Once you have user base you can then start working on tools for "average person". Tools that are easy to use.
I hope you understand my point now.
while you talk about spreading the DGB to the world in fact every coin has a potencial at same wich made DGB even more attractive (fast transactions)... but your a miner who sell and rebuy coins and i see a lot of bad miners who spread FUD around to get cheap things, theyr the cancer of cryptocurrency made it look bad in all aspect... in fact they dont help "shit"! dont have brain to get over his equipment and help development at all... world is full of "shit" depend on us to made it a better place to live in! next time you spell "shit" look around and watch it very carefully becouse maybe your sitted over it and didnt realize at all.

Look the development is easy. It is about knowing what to develop first. Once you have that figured the rest becomes easy. I work in development shop myself. Actually in payment systems if you care to know. Now what is clear and you can't deny that is number of users of the coin. Look at BTC(slow transactions). Why is it worth so much? Only because BTC has user base. Nothing else. You can have fast transactions best tech whatever but if you don't have users your sitting on a pile of shit.

Some suggestions to get the Network Hashrate up and increase the value include:

  • Kimoto Gravity Well Implementation
  • Block Reward Halving at some point or reduction
  • DGB/BTC Exchange
  • Update on current plans by developers
