Hi All,

What algos do you think should be replaced? Which ones do you think we should add?

Is it possible to just add more algos and keep the existing ones or do we have to stay at 5?

There seems to be barely anyone mining skein and qubit now has asics so in my opinion, those are the first to be replaced.

Correct me if I'm wrong but each additional algo increases the minimum hardware requirements for running a full node. I'm not sure if 6 is safe or not, but it probably depends on how costly each algo is to verify.

I think adding a new algo can be worth it if the mining hardware requirements are unique and it attracts new, different miners. Otherwise all you are doing is diluting the rewards for the similar algo(s), so there's no security benefit.

How likely and appoximately how long will it takes to add in dota 2?

DGB, can be really successful i suppose.

As valve prevent and wanted to shutdown a lot of betting sites.

If dota players can deposit item in exchange for DGB and bet, if would be great!
idk about dota2, soon I guess.

To comply with HK China law, DigiByte will not get involved with gambling sites but because DigiByte is an OS Blockchain technology, someone else almost anyone else not operating out of Hong Kong or any other place that forbids it….can for sure…..maybe even yourself?
Yes, we are not going to add or support any gambling services through DigiByte Gaming.  Blockchain "cryptocurrency" technology is already in a gray enough area. But what people do with their DigiBytes is their own business.

Alright! Thanks for the clarification Cheesy

nice to see all coins red at polo , hope to buy at 35 sat DGB , if it will be 35 sat it will make my day Wink
i think dgb not go to 35 sat this will fall down to max 50 sat

I sold the other week for 70 and have been waiting for it come down to 50 since then so hopefully not much longer to wait until people get impatient with the lack of dev updates  Cheesy

Or not much longer to realize 55-60 was a good price !;)

I would buy them too at 35. On yobit i never saw them below 55. There are already too many buyers in the book.

With my few DGB earnings from CSGO i am not getting anywhere =/

Thanks for this. Do you know if the payout for earning DigiBytes via playing CS GO and LoL will change?

0.5 DigiByte per kill/win is not really a lot. You would have to play all day to earn at least some DGBs. I guess if you play 2 games per day you earn on average DGBs worth 1000-2000 Satoshi.

I just got 53 DGB for my games yesterday.
Not long ago the CS:GO payout was limited to 29-35DGB per day. IT seems like they finished some adjustments.
There will be changes in the future. For now I'm happy to earn some DGB while playing games I would have played anyway.

May I ask how many hours you spent gaming to earn these DGBs per day?

And what are are you doing with your DGBs so far?

CS:GO Wins/Kills: 43 / 63 : 53 DGB
This should be 3 games I think.

I keep the money from DGB gaming in the wallet or use it for tiping.
I also bought a lot of DGB from an exchange which I keep in the core wallet, for later use when DGB gets mainstream Wink
when it gets to mainstream a big pump will happen price will be arisen and possible to make it double .
do you have any idea how long it will take? thanks i also holding some dgb from 58 sat moving  good so far
one step at the time.
