Great, now even if I delete the old wallet and reinstall a new one, this one doesn't open at all...
I'm totally lost.

Note : I delete in roaming the folder with wallet.dat and reinstall an old one (5 days before today), wallet launchs again but it still unable to synchronize. I find again the same problem that at the beginning.
I can suppose the new wallet.dat was the problem that explains I was unable to open the wallet window.
I hope you have a good backup of that somewhere.

It 's loading, then nothing, no window appears.
no message or anything? It may be worth checking using task manager to make sure there are no digibyte processes running and killing them if they are before starting wallet up again.

Already did that, nothing more. I launch, the icon of digibyte comes, wallet is loading and when it's finish, windows closes and wallet disappears from windows application

The maths is that there is 15 btc left to 1 satoshi, that is all.

Hate it or love it.

So when are you two going to dump? Complaining in a forum can only negatively impact peoples perception of DGB. So all be it not very much, you are part of the problem regarding the recent DGB price decline. The price is easily manipulated at this point in time and as stated previously, a big (biggest imo) reason for the decline is due to people selling their DGB so they can cash out of BTC to fiat. BTC will level out and go sideways and alts will recover. This will continue to happen so get used or dump me your DGB.

Well I see your point, it's just impotence I guess. But it's also a way to raise some flags and have a different voice here, if it weren't for Pringles and me do you think this would be an honest forum? It would be all hype and promises of DGB valued at $1-10 as it says in the first page. Please. What I can say is that DGB may be the most serious and honest project of all the altcoin community, but for me it's now clear that one should stay away from it altogether, it's just one giant pipe dream where only speculators and whales can make money.

Yep, I'm still stuck on 43 weeks. Upgraded wallet to 4.0.3

Windows 64-bit client

I had a 64-bit client get stuck there but I restarted wallet and it was ok after that but there is still something not right.

If you simply mean closing the wallet and then starting it up, then I've tried that may times. :-(
Please start the wallet with the -reindex or -rescan flag.

On windows navigate to the folder where the main digibyte-qt is installed (program files). Cltr right click and you will have an option that says "open command window here." Execute the command "digibyted-qt -reindex" and the wallet should start re syncing.

Does everyone have an exact block height they are having issues with?

For Windows you need to hold SHIFT and right click the DigiByte Folder in \ProgramFiles.
And the command should be "digibyte-qt -reindex"
I'm currently resyncing now
Yes, thank you for the correction. Just caught the "digibyted" typo (old server habits die hard) Smiley

digibyte-qt -reindex

This command restarts the wallet and reindexs the entire chain to fix any reorgs or conflicts the sync process may be experiencing.

Ok I did that, after more than one hour, digibyte wallet closed itself and now, impossible to launch it again. It's worst than before....
what happens when you try to launch it now?

OK let’s do some Maths. If just over 43 million coins are mined in a week and dumped straight to market the price of DGB would not be this low, the markets have traded that many coins just today! So there is obviously someone selling on top of whatever the miners are doing and I’m sure they have their reasons for doing it but as time goes on the miners take will diminish even further.

The only good thing Digispeed has done for the coin is made if far faster for the miners to get them coins to the exchanges to dump them.....Nuff said Cry

The reason i am impatient is because by sitting on DGB for so long i am actually losing money, even though you all think by holding them coins for 1-3 years you will make money you are wrong, if you actually worked out the amount of BTC lost due to the rise & fall of BTC when you could have used the BTC sat in DGB to trade then you will see that sitting on a coin for to long is not a very smart investment, DGB would have to increase by 1000X to get what you have lost, cant see that happening but heck we can all live in the dream world

It's just useless, it's like discussing with fanboys. I thought DGB was a good investment for the long run. To me that means it would keep raising in value and gaining more exposure not this BS. We are close to 20s (most of my share was bought at 70-80s sadly) and I guess we should be celebrating something? It was around 120 some weeks ago, DO THE MATH.

All I care is money, it's an investment, I appreciate the effort and work they put into the project but I don't have any emotional attachments. I want the project to do go because it will bring me money. Same with Bitcoin. I do appreciate the technology behind but that's it. It won't cure cancer and watching some recent updates I say it's closer to causing it.

You are great in complaining. Just show your balance and then the community could decide whether you are just fudding and sitting on 0.2 btc worth of DGB and then we all can decide whether we can ignore you.

This is my theory behind all the constant dumps within DGB

If there is 6,209,280 DGB being mined every day that gives you 43,464,960 per week no wonder its being dumped to hell miners are just going to take the profits with BTC so high...DGB aint going nowhere anytime soon...such a shame TBH sometimes its best to not try & fix something thats not broken...digispeed was a big mistake

How can you say DigiSpeed is a big mistake, we have not even got everyone on the same fork just yet so it is far too early to make such sweeping statements. What the market does is clearly not anything to do with DigiSpeed performance. You really are inpatient Pringles but at least you admit that you are. DigiByte has superb potential still, I see no change there and it is affordable and that is good news for everyone not just us early adopters, not all of us here are just here for the money, fools that we are. You can’t keep a good man down and DigiByte is ‘a good man!’

It just happen that BTC price increased after the digispeed implementation if the BTC price didn't rise. You wouldn't that digispeed is a mistake.
