There's a minor issue with the Android wallet: if you click on your address and then 'open in browser' you are seeing a page full of ads (explorer.cryptopoolmining.com).
Another problem is, that my DGB never received my Android wallet:

http://digiexplorer.info/address/DGvgbyYNMt6MSmpug9Da514m4YpwkBXL2m

You see 999DGB incoming with over 400 confirmations. But balance is still 0 Sad

Here the same with android after every sending to my mobile, need to reset the whole blockchain.
I hope they get this fix soon.
How can you reset the blockchain on your mobile?

But I think it's not a wallet issue as I see the transaction with 1600 confirmations on the blockexplorer and it's the blockexplorer which still shows 0 balance for the receiving address. I'm really wondernig what this is Huh

Very strange. The address should show a 999 balance regardless of whether you've synced the wallet or not.

Edit: I just looked further. The "transaction" was included in an orphaned block. The original sending address should still have those 999 DGB. Check the balance and transactions of the sending address. Your DGB should still be there.

That makes sense, thank you. I sent the DGB from Cryptsy and I don't see whether the 999(+1)DGB have been refunded or not. Just tried another one.

EDIT: I've resend 1k DGB and they received my mobile wallet. Then my co-worker installed the app, too. I've sent him 123DGB (Link) but they also never reached their target because the transaction is also lost in an orphaned block. But they are still away from my wallet so it seems like the coins are lost forever. Looks like a serious bug to me  Undecided
Thats really weird, I have been sending and receiving Digibytes for 20+ transactions and never experienced any problem.
Checking it again as we speak.

Send 5 transactions and all done correct.
I'm really confused. My co-worker just said the DGB are now in his wallet - even though the transaction was in an orphaned block. He is now sending 10DGB back, curious how it goes this time (riinngg, it's here Smiley )
Also, my mobile wallet shows a balance of 0 in the block explorer (Link) while the app shows the correct balance of 887DGB.

I think this issues should be resolved before we rule the world. It's still too intransparent and too less reliable for the average joe imho.

Just tried it again and i have the same issues as yesterday, i need to reset the whole blockchain after each transaction to my mobile Cool

Happy to announce that I have reached page 456 of this thread (30th April) for the research of the DigiByte Book.

I've been following your posts, and I think that it's an interesting project idea.  Hope it goes good for you.

Your updates about how far you've made it in the discussion pages always make me smile because they sort of remind me of Stern's Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy.  Just in case you're not familiar with the book, it's a fictitious biography.  And, the book ends with Tristram's desperate attempts to write his life story as fast as he lives it.  Because he keeps getting distracted, and engaging in digressions, he can't manage to draft his biography faster than he lives his life, so he's worried that he'll never catch up to the present, and he'll die before he finishes.  It's a hilarious book.

I know that you're only looking at the first year of DGB history.  Thank goodness ... you don't have the same worry as Tristram.  This morning, when we hit 921, I was thinking about how we'll be at 1000 pages soon.  We add them nearly as fast as you can research them.

There have been a total of 44 block reward reductions since the 10th of January 2014.  Block 400,000 was the only block to have a reward of 2,459 on the 10th of December 2014.  All to be included in the book.

Does anyone have any feedback on the DigiByte iOS wallet installed on an iPhone 6+, Good or bad? We are looking to see what the usage is like.

I like the iOS wallet.  I've had it on the phone since Feb..  Overall, it is a good mobile wallet.  Although, currently, I don't have much use for a mobile wallet.  But, it's really nice to have the possibility of mobile access to my wallet.  And, I have a couple of ideas about how I want to use it to manage my DGB in the coming months.

What other kinds of feedback are you looking for?  I'd be happy to provide additional feedback.

mobile wallet is also good for cold storage Smiley

I hadn't really thought about it as a cold storage option?  Are you suggesting it's good for cold storage because it's multibit and encrypts the private keys locally?  Or, is there something I'm missing?
