Edit 1.  Fixed stroke, alignment of text, text size, and worked to smooth transitions (hopefully in a way that didn't make the pacing too slow).

WOOT!! definitely an improvement than the previous one! because it was visually more appealing on my 1st impression. As for the fonts and background color, after reading your reply, i understand where you are coming from. let's keep it then. but the frames still doesn't really look smooth/fluid. what i meant by "more frames" was this - instead of 20 frames/second, can you make it 40 frames/second? Its like gaming - the more frames, the smoother it looks.

cool! just saw it. Thanks for putting in the extra effort to make a sample. this would definitely help in making a more informed choice!
hmm...lets see...if i have to vote, i vote for this one.
would also like to know what others think and which they are voting for.

Version 2 (as requested).  And ... version 3 (because the blue on the bottom in version 2 is ugly).

Official DigiByte Account
Introducing ★★DigiHash Easy Miner★★ v2.0
Note: This is beta software that gets smarter & adapts (learns mining configs & hardware profiles) as time goes on.
Many card profiles & configs will not be in the system today, but with your help will be their very soon.

What is DigiHash Easy Miner?

DigiHash Easy Miner is software designed to make mining DigiByte on Windows with a CPU & GPU as simple as:

1) Download

2) Install digihash.exe
3) Enter DGB address from wallet & start mining on DigiHash.co

We have made several upgrades to the miner in version 2 and could use your help testing it and getting more configurations into the database.

How does it work?

DigiHash auto-detects your computers hardware (AMD, NVIDIA, CPU) & then connects to a central server to download the appropriate mining software and references the appropriate configuration and begins mining. All with one click of a button.

This is where we can use your help!

After downloading the miner you now have the ability to override default settings, optimize your configuration on your own and then submit it to the server to help others in the future.

Note: This software is not required, nor will it ever be required to mine DigiByte. This is simply a tool to make it easier for beginners.

We have been added to a new voting list.
https://gourl.io
https://gourl.io/coin-voting.html

Anybody knows more about them?
I see allot of followers on twitter but yeah,, they can be bought ofcourse Wink
https://twitter.com/CryptocoinAPI

"Paid votes can be submitted using Bitcoins - simply send BTC to the deposit address which is listed next to the coin(s) which you wish to support. Every 0.0004 BTC sent to the respective address received will be counted as 1 vote.

If any coin receives 35,000+ votes we will grant it priority mode to integration it to our gateway. For coins which have received less votes, we will consider how active the coin communities are and how many free bonus votes the coin receives before making a decision on adding them to our gateway."

Earlier today I looked over the gouri.io site.  It seems like it is developed in partnership with speedcoin?  The same developers maybe?  Either way, there is a very close connection; speedcoin does a lot of promotion for gouri.co - and there are no fees to use speedcoin for payments.

I'm not making a negative judgment or criticizing them.  Just asking if anyone has more information or can clarify the relationship?

Love it. But just to give my 2 digibytes on how it can be better:

(1) The design for the borders/edges can be improved. As you can see there's a white line on the left and none on the right.
(2) need more frames to the appearing/disappearing of the "Accepted Here" text. it will give it a smoother and more fluid effect.
(3) Change the font - the "Digibyte" one that doesn't disappear just underneath the logo. use Digibyte's font. the one you can find on www.digibyte.co just beside the logo.
(4) If you going to make changes to (3) and use Digibyte's font, changes must be made to the background color. just swap places - on top change to white and bottom change to blue. then change the font color at the bottom to white.

overall design is simple. yup...keep it. improve the above 3-4 points. but they are just my opinion.

Regardless, Good Job!!  Grin

Thanks for the feedback yooamigo.

A couple of followup questions/notes

(1) Already knew about this problem, I mentioned that I'd be fixing the stroke in the coming days.  But, thanks nonetheless.

(2) In your opinion - and I'd also like to hear what other people think - is is better to have a quicker pace or a smoother fade?  I had it at 20 frames per fade ... so, 20 frames to fade in and 20 frames to fade out (at .1 seconds per frame it was a 4 second transition) ... and a 1.5 second pause on each language.  The problem was that it felt really slow.  So I reduced the fade frames to 10 per fade (10 fade in and 10 fade out).  Even at .1 seconds per frame, it is a 2 second transition between languages.  The pacing felt better.  So I left it.

(3 and 4)  My personal opinion is that I don't want to use the official logo font.   I'll think about this more.  I know that I do need to capitalize the 'B'.  I have the logo, and I've made paths, for both the fonts and the coin.  I made a decision not to use the official logo for 2 reasons.  First, I wanted blue on top.  I liked blue on top better.  Second, I wanted to simplify the look of the upper section.  I don't have anything against the DigiBtye font in the logo ... but I wasn't using the logo here, just the coin icon.

Hi Everyone,

I finally had a chance to do a bit of work on the "Accepted Here" multilingual images.  Here are 2 different versions.  First, an animated gif.  Second, a banner just for fun.  Hope you like them.  I would welcome feedback about some of the languages ... I guessed at some of them (the ones that are not English).  I also didn't get a chance to completely finish these, in the next couple of days I'll fix the stroke in the first image (and fix some of the minor alignment issues with the different languages).  Although I didn't post them, I went ahead and made separate - static - png versions for each language.

and ...

There are a lot of ongoing projects and contributions in this great community.  I think it would help all of us to have a place to share and collaborate on documents and files.  To that end, I created a Google Drive for us to use.  About a month ago, I made a "wallet tutorial" video and posted it on Youtube.  In the process I created a dedicated gmail address and YouTube channel.

The gmail that i created is: [email protected]

If you send me an email at that address, I'll be happy to "share" complete access to the DGB drive.  I guess you don't have to send me an email - you could just PM me the email address you registered with google.   I think you might have to set up (register) your own Google Drive (or at least get a gmail address) for me to share the files ... still, I do think it would be great to have a place where we can all upload files, and images, and project notes, so that we have access to them easily.  For instance, I'm happy to post other DGB videos in the YouTube channel that I created ... so if you have videos that you've made in the past, you could upload them to the drive, and I can post them on the channel ... stuff like that.  Anyway, let me know what you think.  There's no pressure here.  I'm not going to be offended if nobody wants to share the drive.  I just thought I'd offer.

Anyone want to help us make some international "Accepted Here" graphics and stickers. The idea is to show multiple languages to give people the sense of how international DigiByte is.

After our trip to the Netherlands ( which we will give everyone an update on soon, complete with a video featuring a real life in store DigiByte purchase) we see the need to provide more marketing materials for merchants who accept DigiByte.

Can't wait to see this!

dont forget to make a new blog post about it too!!!

Yeah of course but the last time i did that they removed it, thats why its better to have our own forum.
