I don't want to offend anybody - but all these efforts without a co-ordinated plan actually hurt the prospects of any coin.  If this coin is ever going to take-off it needs a plan and co-ordinated execution.  Let's at least discover next steps for this coin and recruit a team - even new people.

There are a lot of pros for dimecoin & many cons.  eg. the digital marketing efforts are poor and cheap.  The history of this coin has several surges and drops & if it wasn't pumped and dumped early on it would be much bigger today.  There is a fragmented 'litter' left behind this coin and now another facebook page with poor execution?  Just being honest.

In the meantime let's build some constructive conversations around this coin & discover it's strengths and weaknesses.  Then we can focus and assign our energy so that we move the ball forward.  If that energy repeats and is sustainable - a solid foundation will develop under dimecoin.

Who has taken a leadership role and where is the plan redesigned roadmap for this coin?

Are there any DEVS out there that believe in this coin?

Let me start with this....what should the mission of this coin be?   To be worth $.10....? or ?

I believe in the simplicity of this coin - 'dimecoin' - much better sounding than pennycoin, dollarcoin or nickelcoin.  It just works - it rings.  So for a newbie - less intimidating.

A dime for your thoughts....?

I can buy bitcoin for $1000. Tell me where to translate. If it is difficult, the amount can be increased to $2000.

I apologize to everyone, I know that this is an English thread, but...

Hy ты xoтя бы cмoтpи чтo пoлyчитcя ecли в oбpaтнyю cтopoнy пepeвecти - чтoбы пoнимaть кoгдa тeбe пepeвoдчик пoлнyю чyшь нeceт.
И нe лeниcь - чтoбы пepeвoдчик пepeвoдил бoлee кoppeктнo фpaзы дoлжны быть бoлee paзвepнyты. Haпpимep "Cкaжитe мнe кyдa пepeвecти мoнeты" Google пepeвoдчик впoлнe кoppeктнo пepeвeдeт кaк "Tell me where to transfer the coins"

At least look what happens if translated in the opposite direction - to understand when the interpreter brings you a complete nonsense.
And do not be lazy - so that the translator translates more correctly phrases should be more detailed. For example, "Cкaжитe мнe кyдa пepeвecти мoнeты" the Google translator translates correctly as "Tell me where to transfer the coins"

Where to transfer the money. I can send 1000 dollars. All the translators are bad. But the point is to understand. That's why I can't put out a project. I'm using three translators and getting different versions. So sorry. I can write in Russian, and you'll be translated, maybe it's better.

Got an answer from Coinomi regarding DimeCoin support.  Smiley
I am on vacation at the moment until August 13th but want to share with you:

//////

Our technical team reviewed DimeCoin and we're happy to confirm that we can provide full support for it in our wallet.

There is a one-time fee of 1.25 BTC involved for the integration which also includes the cost of providing customer support and running and also managing a minimum of 2 back-end servers for DimeCoin for 1 year (then it's €100/month, however this can be easily covered by a Sponsor and is completely lifted in the event of a ShapeShift/Changelly addition).

Porting to other platforms takes place automatically as they become available (we are very close to releasing the desktop editions for windows, mac and linux; ios and windows phone will follow) for no extra charge. The integration takes 3 weeks in average and goes live in the first update after its completion.

Please let us know if this works for you.

Kind Regards,
Coinomi Support

//////

Please let me know what you think. Maybe we can cover the one-time fee together. (will be offline now - back again on August 14th)

best regards,
peme

Let's cover the costs together. How much?

It is written above: 1.25 BTC

Where to transfer the money. I can send 1000 dollars.

From my point of view there are better things to do than hire the service mentioned. Do you really think that hiring it is a way to attract more people just for that? Convince me how you would invest in this currency just to have an Android wallet when you already have a paper? Let us work on web design, mission and vision of the coin, video, and vote once to try to reduce the coins to 530 000 000 to sell we must generate good marketing to position the currency in a good place and That competes with those that are worth.

How is the process to reduce coin supply... here do we use a split like stock market?

only 9 voters at the moment, 5 against coin reduction:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2054928.new#new

Only when a significant majority wants to reduce total amount of coins, it is something to think about in detail.

the problem about having a lower amount of coins is that it can work against us too. dime coin is not meant to bee $100 dollars a coin. that defeats the purpose I believe of dime. I believe that even if we were seriously considering to reduce the amount of dime we shouldn't have less than the amount in dogecoin. Its all about the community and the support that the coin gets. i will support whatever the decision of the community is but we also have to think that there are so many dime owners out there that still haven't checked their coins in three years. It would be really sad to make a decision without having a vote that at least account for 1000s community members for example. we are really close to be able to mine less coins that is surely to raise the price a little bit Smiley
