I honestly feel bad for Matthew.
I understand what he was trying to accomplish with this, but I fear that it is blowing up in his face. I commend him for trying to shut everyone up, but he ends up carrying the flag alone.
If it comes down to everyone getting paid except for me, I would have strong reservations in regards to telling the truth about me being paid, rather, out-right lying to protect Matthew.
He is putting TOO MUCH on the line for simply ideals.
I respect Matthew, but he doesn't deserve this.
No one made him do it. He chose to.
Plus by your own admission you just said you would lie to help Matthew win the bet if everyone else got paid out.
Not a good thing by my book and the rules of the bet that is in place. Not very honorable.
