I have done that recently. In my opinion it is definitely worth to sell your altcoins and buy Bitcoin with everything you`ve got. It doesn`t mean that you have to sell altcoins at a low price; you can wait to minimize your losses. The gains can be huge, though.
Don't bet it all to one coin, leave atleast a backup coin or a long term alt coin that may rise up in the future. It's better to have a backup if something unexpected happens.

I am totally agree with you. You need to develop your strategy and make your portfolio. If you sell something from it, be sure to buy back on dip to maintain your portfolio strategy.

As of now the bitcoin price was still in bearish mode. It is best to sell all the altcoins now and purchase bitcoins in a cheap price. And just wait for the bitcoin price to recover and rise again. When the price of bitcoin goes dump, dont panic it will be back soon to its normal price.

I think btc has hit 20K in December of 2017 but it's no good to sell all the alts and buy btc .most of the time , alts will follow the btc. I wish you haven't do that because the price has go down than the price when you are posting this

That is true. Holding a bad altcoin causes a lot of things. We have to determine which coins should be held and should not be held. Instead of holding a bad coins like that, we can make our own research in order to find out which coins are good for us and which are not. AS you can see, there are many good coins on the market cap such as ethereum or litecoin. Therefore, if you realize that your coins are bad, there is no point in holding anymore. You should sell it and buy other coins which are better

If i were you hold first your Alts do not decide it yet just wait for the price goes to 20k then it is the time you can decide if you will sell all your Alts to earn more Bitcoin.
