You don't need to sell your altcoins, if you invested in a good altcoins then you can hold until the price moon before you sell, if you sell now and later the price moon, you will regret it. it happened to me.
since the top ten alts still following bitcoin uptrend, theres no necessary to panic sell. just trust on your own judgement

Dont sell all your alts, please, just hold them, the cryptomarket is in uptrend now, that means most likely we will see in the near future the new peak of bitcoin and all altcoins. The current prices are too cheap, so if you sell you will definitely regret about it. Holding is the best strategy for the moment. 
If it is my advice, do not sell all the altcoin you have. Which if potentially rising the price should just hold it first. But if the coin you have is not so good your prospect could have sold it before the coin price died. All decisions are in your hands. That's it from me.

I agree with you. There is no point in selling coins or altcoins. This year is a little bit struggle for all of us but I do believe that soon, everything will increase back to normal. WE can recover our loss by holding our coins for a long time. 
You can sell your coins and buy btc, but now the price for btc is very low and very slowly growing. And I think by the end of the year the price will be below $ 15,000.
U shouldnt sell all your alt for btc,its very risky
If you ask me then you should hold your coins for some months because from last some months coins are not raising but if you want to sell it then you should buy bitcoin.
I think you do not sell your altcoin, for how to get bitcoin, you better hold the next few months, because altcoin price also depends on bitcoin price, if bitcoin price goes up higher also altcoin price also follow it, so you will get more profit nice.
You do not need to sell your altcoin because of bitcoin price. Altcoin has its own price. If the price is low do not sell just wait until the price is up. Altcoin is different from bitcoin so if your altcoin is at higher price sell them, you can buy again that altcoin if the price is low.

In my experience once some of my alts where I did Invest will hit the ICO price or a little more than of that, I will dump It automatically because I observe In several altcoins were only rise but can't last longer. So altcoins Are just good for short-term period of Investment.
A good spread of risk will normally require you make a portfolio that has both bitcoins and several altcoins.It protects from losses when either of them crashes adversely.Also,I believe altcoins have a better chance of growing faster in value especially if you choose the right ones.
It depends on the market. If the market is fine and the prices are also fine you can sell it but if the proces are not fine and it is red you should wait until it's fine.
Selling all your altcoins is not very smart move. even if bitcoin will raise to $20000 - you will get just x2.5 because it is not so volatile. I would better suggest to change may be some alts in your portfolio rather than selling them. Any way, this is just your decision. Peace
Agree. Altcoins market are so promising because it is increasing and provide higher profit. If you don't really need to sell all your altcoin then don't. Just keep yourself updated frequently.

I think it is up to you whether you want to sell all altcoins you have and buy BTC because none can say which altcoins reach the moon.
