Need to know in advance that the making of this altcoin is to cover the weaknesses of bitcoin which is the limited amount of bitcoin in circulation. if they (new altcoins) continue to emerge, that means a sign that demand for various altcoins is still increasing. Why do we need diverse altcoins? Because Altcoin can also be an alternative for us to collect bitcoin, once collected we can exchange it for bitcoin.
Altcoin will also be needed in cryptocurrency ,aside from bitcoin which us the leadcoin in the market , there are also altcoins with different uses and purpose that is why they are named altcoin for they are alternate to other coins in the cryptocurrency technology.
do we need bitcoin? nobody can know what is gonna happen. maybe we need already something we don't know yet. our mission is find those things.
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
bitcoin blockchain was the first blockchain for the payments while ethereum is the second generation of blockchain which offers the smart contracts and new teams develop tokens on the ethereum platforms like ERC 20 tokens to implement their concept into the crypto space so you can not say that alts are of no use

Yes I believe we need altcoins. With them, we have more choice and opportunities to earn more money. And Bitcoin network is not enough to provide solutions such as smart contrats micro payments and more.This is why we have many more coins with differen features
Altcoins are meant to serve specific purposes which may differ from that of Bitcoin. I think Altcoins have also helped raise more awareness in the Crypto sphere. We need Altcoins for a more competitive market, the best will always lead.
Alcoin from different project has its own idea and value, beside BTC, ETH we need these alcoin also to make idea and project come true and has application in real life. As 1 country has its own money.
